- I wasn't planning on making content for Diablo Immortal, but I just had to get this information out there to hope more players spend their platinum and time in the best way possible. This is a huge grind and wasting parts of your grind can be brutal.

Thank you guys so much for all the views, comments, and subscriptions in such a short time! I'm planning on another video Thursday regarding a gem tier list, since I've disagreed with rankings I've seen. If anybody has other information they'd like to see, let me know and I'll work on it!
Good info. I agree. Most of what you have said is actually what I did in my Char. I wish Devs will provide other source of Platinum so that F2P Players can speed up their progress. Currently in our server, earning Platinum in the Market is nearly imposible now.
I feel you, man. Before server merge I would get 400 no matter which gem it was, and 2500 per skill stone. It's been a struggle after the merge selling certain gems, and skill stones all are super low now. If this continues, progress will become super hard

Nice! If you already got the duplicates, that'll be an easier transition for more power. And you still get damage boost from p&c so nothing really lost. As a light spender, have you awakened any slots?
@@kras5785 any reason why awakening is a must? Thats another money to burn on the game 😢
@@kras5785 nah I didn’t awaken because I knew 1 and 2 stars are temporary and ill never get 5 star to rank 10
@@mynameisazz I'm f2p too so I'll never awaken. Sorry if I didn't specificy good enough in this video, but a big point I wanted to make is that since f2p players will never awaken, going for a rank 10 one or two star gem is pointless since the 5 star gems are better at a lower rank with less total cost

I awakened 3 slots and i put there 3 gems 1*
After some time i understand it was mistake.
I am tryin to replace it for 2* gems but this is vey expensive
What to do ?
Put 5* gems and ignore my awakenings?
Definitely a tough call since you've already awakened! If you don't care about PVP though, sticking with 1* gems is no problem at all and some can be better than 5* gems (in PVE only though).
If you do care about PVP power, certain awakened effects can be powerful since they aren't reduced by strife but i'd advise limiting to 2 slots at most. But for more general power, ignoring the slots would be best
@@kras5785 I will swap betweens 2 awakened effects
For example 10 % more dmg on main weapon for some spells
Or 10 % reduction CD
Sometimes very usefull.
I have now 9 lvl 2* gem
Will try upgrade it for 10 to change one 1*
But expensive and not sure it worth of that
@@KThuzad in the long run, I definitely think it's worth it since you'll reach it eventually! Especially since you're already rank 9 🙂
I like your reasoning too! Yeah some of the awakened effects are super good for sure and worth taking advantage of if you already have the slots awakened

So what about the magic find percentage? Can a ftp player realistically achieve this benefit with 5 star gems?
Very easy to get 60% magic find by getting six 2* gems to rank 5. Takes some time, but you get steady upgrades along the way.
Now getting a x/5* gem to rank 5 is a bit more difficult. Getting one to rank 4 is even quite realistic over a long period of time, but getting to rank 5 is hard because you need so many duplicates. So for a gem like Zwensons haunting, it's definitely possible since duplicates are plentiful and cheap on market, only a little bit more expensive than their gem power worth.
Typically, unless you can consistently farm 12 unbound normal gems per day and they all sell high on your server, the most realistic gem setup is being content with rank 5 two stars across the board for magic find if you're mainly PVE player or mixing in a couple rank 3 x/5s between 3-5 stars if you PVP.

Too true, man. What could be a couple months grind on a box price game is now a multi-year grind if you don't pay. Just make the best it and never give in to pay to win

That's totally valid. If you don't care about resonance at all, my suggestion is a goal to get six rank 5 two star gems for max magic find as a f2p. That'll help you the most by finding more legendaries, which gives you a better shot at finding triple stats / upgrades in general

Haha depends how you play for sure! I'd definitely feel that way if I was grinding multiple hours per day, but most just play for fun when they got time. Most of the several hour players seem to be the high resonance players anyway
