Wow! fantastic video! Cannot express how amazing it is to see you guys continuing to take on the Explorer ST platform, head on! Great video and I appreciate the comparisons between the stock bushings & yours, DEF want these after watching that one launch 🤙🏻
These and the brace came in the mail yesterday. Putting them in today. If this were judged by looks alone, they are outstanding! I look forward to having them in. Thanks and outstanding work!
Great videos. They have not only the how to's but the why's as well. Great vids, great products for us Ford Guys. I am curious how many of these suspension parts interchange with the Aviator as well?
Just got my set today, can't wait to clock out and climb under the ST...... Crazy thing is installed the "Subframe Bushing Support Kit" in January but after hearing a thud coming from the diff I totally freaked out and ended up giving them to a friend of mine. After watching this video I realized that the thud I heard is completely normal which you can see a little after a minute into the video. I'll definitely be reordering the bushing kit to complete the STEEDA Suspension set up. Waiting on STEEDA to drop a STEEDA 3" exhaust for the ST's.
Hey, never hesitate to reach out if you feel if anything isn't right! Use code "social5" for a discount if you re-order the Subframe Bushing Support Kit. As for a 3" exhaust, we don't currently have anything in the works, but it's not off the radar...
@@steedaautosports No worries, I ordered them yesterday. Hope the exhaust hits the radar soon because I can't wait to hear how that thing sounds. I'll drive right down to Pompano Beach or up to Georgia, slap it on and throw her on the Dyno.....
Imma add to this. So I did this job today and looking st how easy your bushing came out it wasn't even close for me. The cap popped of first so then I had to cut the bushing to removed the center metal thing and also the outer metal around the bushing was a PITA. But I got it tho thankfully after 5 hours of being on my back didn't have access to a lift. Far as installing the aftermarket bushings easy and straight forward just don't forgot to torque everything back down
what I would do to be closer to Steeda to have you guys install these and other goodies for me. Heck even a shop near me that would do it. I love this and really want it.
Own a ‘23 ST and the OEM bushings were a PITA 💩to remove. STEEDA’s were easy, but make sure to remove the rear crossmember bolt to lower the differential. They don’t mention that in the video and only show a small clip circling the bolt. Huge misstep not telling customers outright. All in all took 6.5hours to remove OEMs and 1 hour to install STEEDAs
The best fix for broken bolts is 1. Get the two bolt model ignore all one bolts. 2. Get the warranty fix on your two bolt rear diff bolts , solid bushing and stronger bolts. .... then get this bushing
We haven't had an Aviator in our shop to confirm everything. But we have heard from customers that most things like springs, sway bars, toe links, intercooler, etc. fits. Forums may be your best bet to get a more concrete answer.
@@steedaautosports It looked great until I read the Note at the end of the page. y car is the 2.3 awd but thanks anyway. It isn't meant to be a racecar, lol
We did just come out with a grade 12.9 differential bolt that will work for your case and is a lot more cost effective. If you're not launching it a lot, you don't really need the full brace. www.steeda.com/search-results-page?q=steeda%20explorer%20differential%20bolt
As a new ST owner, all of this is EXTREMELY exciting!

Coming from the F150 to the ST, you guys are making my wish list longer and longer. @LessEcoMoreBoost isn't helping either. 🙂

Bottom cap came off.. trying to dig the old bushing out now... fml 😅😂
¡LET'S FACE IT! 😊

Does the Explorer parts carry over to Lincoln Aviators?

How does it change the ride harshness? Do you feel the bumps in the road? Have to talk my wife into all of these parts!
I know this helps with launches, but Does this improve the daily driving experience too?
We've heard feedback from customers that the shifts from the transmission are actually smoother because the differential isn't moving around so much
I've seen it done without removing the sub frame😳
Does this all translate to the 2020 Lincoln Aviator? I'd imagine it does, but I guess I'll have to look into it.

Are these in stock if ordered today?
Yes they are! We currently have 24 kits ready to go!
@@steedaautosports that was quick. I ordered last night and they already shipped! Thanks!
I have a 21 XLT 4x4. How much is the price for both systems? The parts to protect the rear Diff bolt, and the bushings in this video?
We have a kit with these bushings and our Differential Brace here -> www.steeda.com/steeda-555-4467-explorer-pro-differential-support-system
