Today were comparing two Titans, two of the most popular phones right now, outside Samsung and Xiaomi, these phones are camera centered, the main focus are computational photography, night shots and cinematic video. iPhone 13 will probably stay as one of our resident camera comparison devices as we will compare a lot of phone against it. Outside this camera comparison video, iPhone 13 is the newest phone of Apple and boasting the cinematic video and also the more expensive device while Google Pixel 5 is boasting its own computational photography and night shots and also the less expensive and the older model because of the upcoming Pixel 6 this Fall. Saturation was a problem when Samsung did it but when IPhone started to applied heavily they switched quickly and started saying “personal preferences” and “lively “. Also those night shots are badly done, I had pixel before and that’s not what you can get with a pixel at night.

I actually been watching pixel 5 on other channels but really unexpected on the newest iPhone 13 camera,.for me both phone are great is defense on preference..and i can't even choose 🥰
Yeah I think its still a great camera phone. Its almost the same. I think the night shot and the cinematic video is where iPhone 13 had an edge.

the first night shot photo is showed that the camera glass of pixel 5 is dirty..that's why the flare is that much

Iphone has good blur and video quality & colours are good on apple.. pixel actually has good dynamic range & clarity...

I Just bought a pixel 5 at the end of 2023, i was searching a compact smartphone. Maybe 13 mini Is better in camera selfie but i payed this 230€ instead of 650€

This is weird coz I have pixel 3 and my friend has iphone 3 max pro.
Photos on my pixel is just the same and better at night
One important factor forgotten is the price difference.
Are you sure this wasn't an iPhone 13 mini? It looks smaller than the Pixel 5 when they are side by side, but the iPhone 13 is 3mm longer according to GSM Arena?

Iphone 13 is clearly a winner in night shot but Pixel 5 wins in potrait mode & selfie. The rest I think it's not so much different.

Yes, agree. Its not much of a difference. I did a blind test and suprisingly people loved the portrait mode of iPhone. Coz you see the name of the phone on this test, right. There could also be a little bias.
And yes, I tried it over and over, iPhone 13 is better and sharper on night shot. And to think iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max has an even better night shot capability.
Let see how Pixel 6 performs.
@@GadgetRevNow Iphone potrait is nicer to look at might be because it's a little bit brighter.
Pixel potrait on the other hand is sharper on the skin tone & true to life look.
Iphone also has that 'yellowish tone" that makes it look less sharp & just a liitle bit blurry.
If you look at the price difference, than the pixel is the clear winner.

Yeah the mini did best here. Pixel 5 fell behind by quite a big margin especially low light is just bad it’s shocking

Indoor night shots on iphone are terrible and make me regret i got the 13 model instead of 14. Honest with Apple you will never be happy and always wish you got the pro model just to be able to use it as a normal phone. It goes like this iphone 13 = 1/2 iphone 13 iphone, 13 max 1/2 iphone but big and iphone 13 pro = iphone 13.

pixel gives more better shots as compared to iphone
At 2:51 pixel seems more detail than iphone
And the pixel ones also have blurs while retaining the subject sharp in focus with details
@@GadgetRevNow the iphone creates portraits that are too soft with a shallow focus (which i think Google's AI models for bokeh are more accurate), the results i think look to artificial, and lacks detail on the subject, Apple's basically trying to emulate the Hollywood “Vaseline on the lens” technique. Depending on the context of the shot, sometimes you want sharper detail, and you can always soften the subject in post.
We chose iPhone 13 on Portrait because of the wider view and not the smoothness of my face.
There is very little difference in photo quality maybe 10-20%. But the video quality is noticeably different.
I'm going to buy a second-hand Pixel 5 next week. Unfortunately, the Pixel 6 doesn't have a compact size.
Or if you dont need the 8GB of Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G has the same processor but only 6GB... But cheaper.

The only problem ko po sa pixel 5 is the storage option hinde ka po maka unlimited picture dahil sa 128gb lang😓☹️
What you can do, buy a card reader, meron syang OTG di ba? Pag malapit na mapuno yung storage mo, itransfer mo sa USB or SD card (using card reader through OTG). That's what the use of OTG. That's why phone manufacturer stopped adding SD slot coz you can externally save it using OTG. Hope this helps kabayan! 😉

Hahaha! Thanks bro! I thought youre talking about the new 5a. You know, youre right. I just thought the wider field of view on iPhone 13 is more useful. But almost the same look, I love Pixel 5 but everyone (from the people I showed these pictures blindly had the same comment of iPhone 13 being more flattering). So mix bag- people like more flattering/smoother portrait. I love Pixel 5's manly shot though. 😏
