Be aware that the ready to go controller from Modded zone did not come with back paddles, which I thought it did since it cost so much. That will be an extra cost for the back paddles. Also have issues with the Modded zone app keep having issues to reconnecting to mod chip. (using iPhone)
If I buy the ps5 dual sense edge, it should come with the back paddles right?

Hey Kevin, I saw the monster router you have in the background of this video and it got me thinking, I’d like to see a video on your router and internet system, like what router you use and why, what the benefits are, do you have additional router extenders in your house? Or do you use a mesh system, with or without additional nodes intensifying the signal
There’s so many options and models and strengths, and I still don’t really understand mesh networks
Just an idea, I know that’s not really what you do, but if it’s gaming related then that’s a win lol

never will i ever purchase from them again, i paid 470~$ and when the controller got here the paddles were not working and mods i purchased were not working, a total mess. i asked for refund and i only got a 409$ refund i also had to pay an extra 90$ to ship the controller back to them.

What made you decide not to go with the hall effect sticks or the mechanical switches for the face buttons?
They don't offer mechanical face buttons or dpad and they didn't offer HE sticks when I built my controller a few weeks ago

I got my modded zone elite 2 controller today. So it works as advertised the app connected to my controller with no problem and all the mods worked for me. Im using a iPhone 15. Only issue I had is only one of my back paddles don’t work. So I had to send it back today to get fixed. Hopefully I’ll have it back by Saturday and it’s fully working

Kevin, I've been very conflicted on whether I should get the Dualsense Edge or the Modzone controller. I have many custom controllers but I really need one that has Macro features. Because I want to be able to program combos with one button. I know the Dualsense Edge has back buttons but I don't think you can set more than 1 button to it. I don't really wanna buy 2 more controllers. Megamods is another option too😢
Or I have an idea maybe , just get better 🤡

I prefer my Edge over this one. Even though I am still fiddling with this controller.
The bad thing about the Edge, is the battery life. I always turn off the vibrations (or keep them weak), for it to last a bit longer (average 3-4 total hours).
For the Modded one, I taken off the vibration mirrors so I'm working of the battery life myself.
Does it work for ps5 games, where i dont have to download the ps4 version?

Love the 10% discount code. After specing this controller out with my own “must haves” it priced out at $275 and with the discount i got it under $250. Since this is right in line with the Scuf Instinct Pro i picked up last year I’m good with the pricing on this controller. I do have a question on if they had the Hall Effect thumbsticks in the builder when you got to order this.

Yes they do now offer HE thumbsticks and from the information I got directly from the company they have performed well and satisfied the few customers that have bought them so far.

I got the dual sense edge from them and I have the same issue with the right stick. I also switched the two sticks and same issue. Idk how to fix it I might actually just return it smh

I got mine yesterday, absolutely love it but weirdly my r1 feels a little off too. I dont have another bdm-030 dualsense so i snagged another set off amazon, for 16 bucks if it fixes the issue it seems like less hassle then sending it back.

Great channel as far as the controller i own 2 and there great the app is easy and they answer the phone if you call or email own 2 own 2 other modded controllers there good but this one is the best it is advanced

i wouldn't say they are fairly new they've had videos that have been around for 7 years, i had got one of their elite 2 controllers before the MZ mod chip (like 4-5 years old) and i got one of the newer models with the MZ mod chip, the older controller has held up some, my girl is actually using it right now, it gets jitters every now and then or sometimes if i hold down the aim button it will actually shoot as well (which is annoying and i have to shut the controller off and turn back on so that doesnt happen, BUT what i'm really looking to say is the elite 2 controller with the MZ mod chip that controller we have that has FAILED on me TWICE and that controller was purchased around christmas 2022 lucky the first time failure happened it was under their standard warranty time it seemed my left stick went haywire, and a few months ago the right stick started to have hang and drift making the controller unusable my character looks straight to the ground, which now i would have to pay out of pocket even if i paid the extra for the year warranty slightly a year out of if i would've bought their year warranty, like this controller knows to break outside of the warranty period ! i feel like if you spend a certain amount of money with a company there should ALREADY be some type of gold standard warranty with the item (especially if they back their work and name) and not have to pay a additional premium on top ! These controllers that are already almost the price of the system that we use them on ! I got the Elite 2 + Ultimate Mod Pack which put the controller at $329 i feel a 2 year warranty should be automatic.. i didn't even get the little card you did with the free $20 offer for mods that must be brand new !
Not about this controller but does anyone know when he's making a part two to the hypr controllers. Im curious on the reliability.
My hypr with the HE sticks should be here in the next 3 weeks and I plan to cover all my thoughts of the other 2 hypr controllers but to save sometime I have been very satisfied with them and think they offer a tremendous value, especially now that they have HG sticks.

I got the PlayStation Dualsense Edge and after two months my back button broke. I opened it and it was a pin in a black assembly piece that broke off. What controller do you recommend I get instead of the edge?

@@GamerHeavenOfficial thank you, I ordered the Aim V3 but I’m also sending in my Dualsense edge to get repaired so I can sell it. No way I’m keeping it if it broke after only 2 months and there’s no replacement parts for that specific black piece where the back button gets inserted to.

@@GraveMemories I used mine for drop shotting in shooter games so I was smashing it frequently. If you don’t smash on them then you’ll be good. I got a friend who doesn’t use them for shooter games and he’s been fine for a long time now
Great video as always! I was looking into getting a HYPR PS5 controller because of the HE thumbsticks, but decided to hold off until I see more people speak on it. Any advice on how to possibly reduce the possibility of stick drift?
Hey the kid 2013, I'm glad you like the video. I think it's safe to pull the trigger on a hypr controller with the HE thumb sticks now that they have the fresh batch in.

Hypr is some customer service and build time expediting away from being a really really solid option in my personal opinion.

I’ll be getting mine for multi play. If you can’t beat them…. Join them. It’s gonna be a shame when everyone has one. Actually it’ll be great. The losers that use them will eventually fade away. It’s like the guy with the supercharged car, running around beating up on everyone. Thats until all the cars received a supercharger. Now it’s back to being just what it is. Ordering mine soon. And yes I’ll be using on multi player. I can’t wait to get the other modders.

I don't understand the complaint about editing the controller with an app. Do you know how convenient that is, and who isn't going to have a phone that's spending what these controllers cost? With all of the other methods you mentioned your using the device its connected to, to edit the controller meaning you can't make edits on the fly, whats the difference? The only improvement is if they could add a hotkey combo to remap as you said. An app is a better solution to a program imo.

FYI I don’t advise buying the dual sense edge atm. It has A LOT of ups like controlling every setting on the console immediately but it fell apart too quickly, and not having the extra two buttons or paddles even as an option, you’re stuck with two (no macros either)…

Companies like evilcontrollers, lazamodz, and controllerchaos had ultimate modz back in 2011 for the 360. But it was mostly rapidfire and autoaim for campaign and zombies

Lol true, yeah thats the most expensive gamepad I've reviewed. It reached that price because I put everything on in the builder including their optional mod chip so I could demo that. In the video I spec out a performance only build which is on par with other pro controllers on the market

They mod the edge now too but with less options and modded zone use to have the multiple button pair option but decided to use a app now probably money. Everything but anti recoil should be fine I've used these mods and they almost always are a disadvantage because of enabling and disabling as of warzone. You don't want to be dropshoting when you have a heady. But turbo jump auto ping and rapid fire are cheap but wouldn't call it cheating also rapid fire might be a disadvantage toas there's no button to disable it on the fly or remember to. They should have a battery option with the edge and make use of the profile buttons at the bottoms

34:20 theyre called scripts and are extremely popular on pc but not rlly talked about. They recently blew up with the pop of the "Cronus Zen" which you download scripts for certain games and they have differenr weapons recoil values down to make them shoot straight

Pretty sure I just fucked up paying $150 for a custom controller for my nephew from them. No mods, just the custom shell, triggers, buttons etc. But with the 3rd party device ban on xbox... yeah. Pretty sure it's not gonna work on it. But the Xbox design lab isn't working sooooo wtf do they expect us to do if we want to order a custom one???

@Drewfromthabottoms I didn't have the best experience. Ended up getting a full refund though and it was easy. It came with the slightest stick drift but the audio when using headphones didn't work. Well, it BARLEY worked. Not enough to actually hear. Sent it in for repair, it came back in worse condition. At that point I just asked for a refund. I will say they were super responsive. Also my buddy got a ps5 controller and had an opposite result and couldn't be happier.

There is no reason to buy this controller unless you want to 'cheat' lol. Personally I don't think it's really cheating. All that you get are macros at the end of the day. All pc players have access to macros... and actual cheats. Telling people not to use the features of the controller in multiplayer games is a joke.

I love your reviews, but I find these types of "cheating" controller reviews quite irritating. We know that people who buy such devices primarily use them for MP games. The reason for this is quite simple, they are not talented, they are not skilled, they are trying to prove something to people etc. etc. In my opinion, such reviews reduce the quality of the channel, and such contents seem to implicitly support these companies and the people who use these devices. Yes, I know you talk about this in these videos. That's why I mentioned; "we know" what people will do with these devices. So it doesn't matter to these people whether to talk about it or not. Developer studios and Sony/Microsoft are also talking about this, but unfortunately the result does not change at all.
I think you took my comment as an aggressive one, which is sad because that wasn't my intention. I think there is no other channel that does bigger and more detailed reviews about controllers, and that's why I enjoy following your videos (even if many of these controllers don't attract my attention).
