This evolution line looks awesome! It's really hard to make the last stage look good in particular but in this case you managed to make it look even better than the earlier stages. The ability is great, very fitting a toxic fire type.

I love the design, and the idea of corrosive poison that can overcome Steel/Metal's immunity to it is cool, but a big problem I had with Salazzle in Pokemon is that the value of being able to poison Steel types was greatly diminished by that fact that you're already part Fire type. Why poison the opponent when you can just KO it with a super-effective Fire Blast?
Let's be real most people are picking Gilava including me, it shall be the Charmander of Buddymon.

Yeah that’s more a cool little gimmick than anything else. I suppose it could be helpful on tank like empoleon but those are quite few in number
