@ScribbleSaintI think I saw a video a while back by speedrunners or game data analysts or whoever about the best starter in the game, and it actually turned out to be Squirtle. I think they looked at every single battle across the game and how it matched up against each opponent. Fair enough because you can teach it Ice Beam and Earthquake/Dig to cover its weaknesses, and it also gets access to some of the best Gen 1 HM moves, Strength and Surf. However I agree that Bulbasaur is way better for the early game but it's only super-effective against Brock and Misty and resists Lt. Surge and Erika. But by then you're likely raising at least 3 Pokemon at once. However I don't think it really matters who you choose, because Gen 1 is so easy you can use almost any team you'd like.

It isn't. The writer has zero idea how to properly write a main character. They have to be redeemable, likable, etc, not a one dimensional bully character.

(if a Poké Ball is broken before a Pokémon is sent out, then that particular Pokémon cannot be used until their Poké Ball has been repaired) it means it won't do any harm to that Pokemon.

It was his, that's was the whole point of him evolving. He CHOSE to silently obey the Caterpie Leader's commands, because he was afraid of deciding things for himself. But, in his fear of choosing, he chose not to leave, every time. So he's responsible for everything that he did in the war.
With the Legend of the Lizard, I love how they say It was long ago, though it was less than a week prior, and the main Caterpie is lying on Charmanders guilt

With a 1.5 hour runtime, I can now confidently state that Starter Squad is more than half complete. Two episodes to go. Starter Squad: Episode 11 is currently in production. The way that one of the best written series of all time came from what seemed like a one-off skit blows my mind. The way the most recent episodes gets my blood pumping is something that no other piece of media is able to elicit from me. Could not be more hyped for the final two episodes, I know they're going to be amazing.
Idk, to me the writing leaves a lot to be desired. It's an enjoyable series to be sure, but calling it the "best written series of all time" is extremely hyperbolic. Killing off Charmander before the MissingNo/Mewtwo plotline was finished was an extremely stupid mistake and makes the whole series feel incomplete and disjointed. With Charmander dead, he'll never be able to take responsibility for the mess he created when he trapped Hitmonchan in the other dimension. Now, Mewtwo will be waiting in Cerulean Cave forever for a Charmander who isn't coming. This doesn't make sense. Plus, in no scenario could I ever think that a Caterpie was capable of killing a Charmander, even one weakened by a Squirtle. Caterpies don't have hands. They can't pick up sharpened objects and stab another Pokemon with it. The worst a Caterpie can do, even to a defenseless Pokemon, is tackle or bite it until it faints, or spin string around it to slow it down. That's it. So, yeah, there was some pretty poor writing in this series.
I get at the end of the day, Squirtle's conflict with where his agreeable nature lead him, as well as how to become an effective leader is far more interesting then Charmander finally learning how to be a decent person. But man, I do miss his presence in the story. His provocative and blunt nature was very interesting to watch play out over the series. It's too bad he never got to become the Charizard he was meant to be.

Shippidge has come such a long way and this series is outstanding! Episode 10 was incredible and the graphics and the way things were made. It was definitely worth waiting a couple of years to see episode 10. I can’t wait to see the two final episodes of this series. Even though it’ll take a long time it is all worth it in the end!

To say I love this series is an understatement, episode 8 was literally perfect and I’m so excited to see what Bulbasaur & Mewtwo been up to. Also looking forward to hearing more about the caterpie war and maybe we’ll see Charmander again as a ghastly 👀

I feel like for the 11th Wartortle will fight many precarious foes. I'm hoping for Pokemon like Garchomp or Spiritomb or Mamoswine. The list goes on and on really. Basically I want the 11th to be a test of Wartortle's strength as he takes it out on them when confronted. *My number 1 hope though is for Baulbasaur and Charmander to return*

Originally, it was just a skit, and ep2 was a sequel skit. Ep3 is when I decided to continue it as a story. Around episode 5/6 is when I planned out the ending and all the plot leading up to it. So far, no major changes to what I set up in like 2015/16.
this was so funny, up until episode 7 i was laughing. the twist in episode 9 was heartbreaking, honestly! i hope something good happens in the next two episodes.
This is some serious extremely well written story, i wouldn't be surprised if they're actual professional writers. not to mention the smooth animations and epic voice acting.
46:22 the captions show binary code that translates to "so much pain" 46:40 and here these ones translate to "aquired" 47:00 this one is "we are" 47:06 "i am" 47:23 "missing" I have a theory: the first one is said by Hitmonchan being in pain (duh), while the second one is not actually from Haunter, but actually from Missingno. saying it has captured yet another one, and plans on capturing more. The 3rd and 4th talk about how it believes every pokemon is a part of it, with the 5th may either it trying to say "Missingno." but it was interrupted by Mewtwo, or it probably plans on sending pokemon to, how Mewtwo said it, the "nothingness of whence it came." I believe the final episode will involve them fighting Missingno. as it tries to capture more and more pokemon.

Shippidge has come such a long way and this series is outstanding! Episode 10 was incredible and the graphics and the way things were made. It was definitely worth waiting a couple of years to see episode 10. I can’t wait to see the two final episodes of this series. Even though it’ll take a long time it is all worth it in the end!

Originally, it was just a skit, and ep2 was a sequel skit. Ep3 is when I decided to continue it as a story. Around episode 5/6 is when I planned out the ending and all the plot leading up to it. So far, no major changes to what I set up in like 2015/16.

I have a theory:
the first one is said by Hitmonchan being in pain (duh), while the second one is not actually from Haunter, but actually from Missingno. saying it has captured yet another one, and plans on capturing more. The 3rd and 4th talk about how it believes every pokemon is a part of it, with the 5th may either it trying to say "Missingno." but it was interrupted by Mewtwo, or it probably plans on sending pokemon to, how Mewtwo said it, the "nothingness of whence it came."
I believe the final episode will involve them fighting Missingno. as it tries to capture more and more pokemon.
