- Kermit Inner Fender Welded In and Initial Carb Tuning
Welding on sheet metal, I definitely need more practice on that, but overall it turned out "ok". Also showing off the first real run of the motor since replacing valve seals, resetting the valves and rebuilding the carb.

Good job. Progress is always a good thing.
Keep moving forward as they say! Oh and Thanks for all the support over the years! Your lube and products are the BEST!
I really like how you show parts of your project that are not perfect, because that's the reality of the rest of us DIYers also, we do this because we truly enjoy it, and we get a huge grim seeing another rescued old truck going down the road. Keep up the good work with your channel
Thanks man, that means a lot. I try to keep it real. There's so many channels out there that make this stuff look easy. Not all of it is easy. I'm learning a lot and practicing as I go along. Each project will get better and better. Eventually I'll be back on Midnight Maroon (that's the keeper truck I want to do everything right on).
Two tone bump sides are so cool! Looks pretty solid for it's age!
Looks can be deceiving! This looks great from 15-20 feet also depends on if you wear glasses or not. Hahaha. Mechanically this thing rocks! Got a LOT of weight reduction especially in the 8 foot bed area! 😬
Good thing we got the big can of seam sealer! Haha we need it! 😂
Ain't no water getting through this barrier!!!! Laid it on THICCCC!
Nice progress on the truck, welding on the rusty trucks will make you better. It’s hard for me too. In the end looks great under the seam sealer.
That's the plan! Thanks for the encouragement. Hard to feel good at it when you keep blowing holes through it. 🤦🏼♂️🤭
Epa- "Dront breathe vehicle exhaust, could cause asphyxiation"
Troy- (wafts into nose for better aroma), "yup smells good to me." 😂
Troy’s hit his head one too many times on the hood hinge he might be a little delusional 😂😂 jk jk he’s a great dude!
Fumes???? What fumes? 😆
You're right, I should probably wear a helmet at this point!!! Dang low rider f100 😅
Doing a Great job Luv your channel!
Thanks man. It’s comments like this that motivate me to keep doing this. (I’m on the get rich VERY slowly plan)
Looks like a fairly solid truck. What state are you in
Looks can be deceiving. Hahaha. It’s got a LOT of weight reduction. But it’s a runner for sure. Coming to you from Salt Lake City Utah.
@@troysgaragelol well it looks way better then the disaster I started with. I should have found a better shell but oh well lol
Can you give some info on your solar panels, and do you think they're worth it?
Oh the stories I could tell you..... Short version, we bought the house with about 20 panels on it. I wanted to double the output so I agreed to buy more. They put them on the roof, walked away without hooking them up and I've been battling with them now for 16 MONTHS to finish the job! My suggestion..... vet the company you are buying from. Get references and call them. Find someone who IS happy with theirs and use the company they went through. I do think they are worth it if you are a heavy power consumer like I am. If your electric bill is low, your bills will actually go up not down. I'm at the point of deciding if I engage an attorney to help me resolve this. I have holes in my roof and the side of my house from all the mounting hardware so removal comes at a cost. I just want the things hooked up!!!! Ugh
@@troysgarage I'm not actually going to buy any since I'm renting, but I was curious about them. And sorry to hear about your dealings with shady companies.
