I am Romanian and I feel so proud when someone else non national say and write the History of Romania and all the traditions we have , with such grace ! I love how you described our culture! Thank you
Yea, Foreigners come to Romania to visit and have a nice vacation, but us, the Romanians, cant't even go to vacantion in our own country due to poverty... 40% of the population can't afford a vacation, some of them not even one that is 100 km away
My cousin was in the Military and he got stationed in Romania and said it is a very beautiful country and the people there are just as beautiful as the country !!❤❤❤❤❤❤
i was going to say the same thing about the thumbnail. why would he show slums? slums can't be a symbol of our country since we have very few of those; we are not Thailand.
@attilakovacs1415 Such a rich history in Transylvania! It’s amazing how many cultures have shaped the region. Thanks for breaking it down so clearly. This was really interesting to learn!
@attilakovacs 1415 Where did you get this information from? Which history books contain this information? Where do the figures come from? Where is the historical evidence? Just manipulation..., nothing but lies!
@attilakovacs1415 Again, I would kindly advise you to document yourself properly before you make such allegations. First of all, Transylvania became in 106 AD (not 140 AD) a Roman province. When the Romans legions and the administration retreated south of the Danube in 275 AD, they did not take the entire Dacian-Roman population with them, nor would they have been able to! In this case, who inhabited this former Roman province from the 3rd century until the immigration of the Hungarians (end of the 9th century)? Nobody? Was this rich province a deserted area? Can you imagine that? NO. It was inhabited by the successors of the Romans and Dacians (mixed population). Over the course of 6 centuries this population gave rise to the Romanian people and Romanian language and since then the Romanians have inhabited Transylvania.
@attilakovacs1415si teritoriile din Croația și Serbia au fost Machete tot 1000 de anii? 😂😂😂 Plingeti după tratatul trianol și acum am impresia că trebuie pusă opinca pe parlamentul Ungariei 😂😂
13:08 That is a carpathian shepherd dog (the picture), typical for Romanian (one of it) dog breed, however the other dogs are Kangal and Asian shepherd dogs, non typical to Romania but used due to their robust build and power. Just to note this down so that people don't get confused. The documentary is very well made and it does cover the most important tourist points in Romania. In a future you sould visit the Colțești fortress (it will be remade as once was), Babele and Sfinx (in Bucegi mountains) and the big Vidra dam from Argeș (paralel to this, also the Porțiile de Fier (Iron gates) on the Danube river). Thank you for showing this, we need to have a good light in this world and shine like a bright star on the sky :)
This is such a captivating topic! 🕵♂ What makes Romania stand out as one of the most mysterious countries in Europe? Is it the folklore, historical landmarks, or perhaps lesser-known cultural traditions? Also, how do locals view these mysteries-are they embraced as part of Romania's identity, or seen differently? I'd love to know more about what everyday life looks like in such a fascinating place!
Our country is magical and a special place for God!❤🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴proud to be romanian, even the if im living in Germany for so many years😢im romanian everywhere i go!🤘🤘🤘and one more thing…we are the most beautiful womens in the world!🥰

We never choose the country we are born in, nor do we choose our parents... it is odd to say wow, I am proud of being American, or Marrocan, or Romanian for that reason. OK, one can emigrate and be proud of the place he lives, but my point is this - we are on this beautiful planet and we should be thankfull for what we have been given by God. Romania is beautiful, as many other countries or places I have visited are very beautiful, too. Romania looks way better than 20 or 40 years ago, it is by all means a better place to live. And yes, one can have many choices to visit during the holidays. Hopefully, Romanians will somehow unite and be stronger, for it is a lot to achieve, if we choose so.
Dracula was just a fictitious story created by Mary Shelley. I have seen the Bear Dance first hand, don't approach them, they are beggars and require a contribution if they catch you watching them! There are many salt mines in the nation and they are spectacular to visit.
Let’s check this out, off the bat when an s has a little thing at the bottom it’s pronounced like sh so Brasov sounds like brashov. ✌🏼 Martisor same thing, pronounced martishor. 😂😂 Vlad the impaler is a hero in Romania, nobody stole while he was alive or you ended up on a stick like a scarecrow, had a gold cup on a well everyone used that never went missing while he was alive.
@ ai is a reject bot that sends people off bridges and long and wrong ways on gps, and idiots follow it blindly. I’m from Romania, born there and raised there, and the s with the small accent on bottom is a sh every time, also my favourite city back home, have it in my R.O to T.O videos, my grandma’s sister lived there, was there in ‘09.. It’s pronounced like brashov, a trillion percent.✌🏼
Can you change the main photo of this documentary ...it is confusing and upsetting showing roma gypsies in a poor village...since you're not talking a bout gypsies...

Dracula was placed in Transylvania by the author Stoker he was not from there. He was Romanian.Yes he fought the muslims, he was also in fact extremely cruel to his own people the Romanians.
Please! Please! Please! Give up on this ai bs content or , at least, voice. It’s embarrassing. Can’t you find a human being to voice your otherwise tolerable A. You over reactive with those Kangal Shiperd , we have something special like Carpathian Raven Shiperd wewho is totally black and who looks like a Caucasian Shiperd if you want to repair you confusion with Turkey Shiperd s dogs. Caucasians are in Georgia, Azerbaijan and one more , 3 tipes, flat heals and mountain differential it's the colour of the hair and how long and short it is . Many breeds looks the same . I don't know if people who watched this video knew or not but you and find friendly people and many speak English German Hungarian Turkey Italian Spanish French . We have dogs on the streets . Romania looks fascinating! The mix of history, culture, and mystery makes it so unique. Great video, learned a lot!
Don't believe everything you see captures the essence of the place. This video could have been done 200 years ago. Romania has changed somewhat since.
My cousin was in the Military and he got stationed in Romania and said it is a very beautiful country and the people there are just as beautiful as the country !!❤❤❤❤❤❤

There are gypsies not Romanians
True! It’s an AI that mixed Asia villages with girls with boobs and Romania flag 😂 Like WTF it’s this?
It’s not documentary, lots of images aren’t of Romanians, but generated from God knows where. Stop AI!!!
I was in Sibiu one winter - it was like being in Hogwarts, but with more mulled wine. Romania is truly pure magic!

Every country is beautiful..as they say the beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
Romanian traditions such as Martisor, Calusar,, Bear dancing, sheep herding, dragobete, they are beautiful traditions of way way more than 4000 years.
Why don't you put 10.000 years to be more credible ? Or even 20.000.
It is very beautiful country
Piatra Craiului Mountain reminds me of the movie Hobbit with that Dragon Mountain.. with caves full of gold !!!
