Since Tony Stark's death, I believe Rocket has made the most impact on the MCU. Guardians 3 was absolutely spectacular, heartbreaking, and everything that I hoped it would be. It's been a long time that a MCU movie wasn't that high in quality. James Gunn truly knows what he is doing and it is with blind trust that I'll watch his next film. There isn't really a sadder story than the one of Rocket ' The saddest creature in the universe '

So about me, It's been already 1 month and a half since the last video, time flies really much lately. On the news part.. I did, just today, my first ever day as an editor professionnally. It feels weird, knowing that I would never expect how far this journey will take me. Your support through the years truly maintained my passion for editing alive, and, even though I'm currently in another city starting something new, It truly feels good to be able to connect with you all, there is a sense of comfort to it.
I wanna take the chance to thank the entire SlyferArmy community on discord, my discord server is open to everyone and I've met wonderful people there. James Gunn made us feel emotions towards a CGI Raccoon, and people still doubt this man's storytelling ability. The DCU is in great hands.
So you mean to tell me you didn't feel sh*t when Bambi's mom died. We have literally felt for mechanical robots, disproportionate caricature humans years before and in '23 someone made you feel about a raccoon in a world famous franchise with two lead up movies and you think that's credibility.

But to say that none of the MCU movies are cinema? That’s plain stupid and ignorant. There’s a good handful of top tier movies in there. Are you just on this video to troll? I get it if superhero movies aren’t your thing, but to completely dismiss it without proper analysis is just asinine.
@@Jim_The_Fish Nah bro it's cool. I don't hate superhero movies or anything. I just don't like the mass media take on superheroes It feels too mediocre and nonchalant for my taste. I mean they are good not bad and GOTG3 had an amazingly well crafted fight sequence but still it felt like a filler not a canon.
A tribute as emotional and beautiful as Rocket's story is, most fitting for him

Man when Rocket speaks for the first time and says "hurts".... it breaks my heart to shambles.
I’ve seen the movie 5 times now and that part always makes me cry. “Hurts” and Nebula crying while saying “This is worse than what Thanos did to me.” The weight of that sentence always hits me, especially when you remember her suffering in Infinity War. When she yells at Gamora, calling Rocket family, it hits so hard. These characters have been through so much, and have had such amazing arcs.
I saw this film 3 times at the cinema & my heart shattered each time
Bradley Cooper is legendary I couldn't imagine no one else doing him . The part where rocket cried out he actually pulled that emotion from finding out his father died that's why it's so gut wrenching . Easily the saddest movie in the MCU .

What a beautiful script awaited Rocket. After such a painful past he got a second chance and his heart healed, becoming the most honorable guardian.

Rocket is one of the smartest beings in the galaxy. He lost his friends, gained a family, fought Titans and, more importantly, forgave himself.
He’s earned his place in the universe. He’s the true Guardian of the Galaxy

Very impactful video, I loved it. Rocket Raccoon is one of my favorites since the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie. I actually cried when I saw the flashbacks of Rocket’s past, it’s terrifying on what he went through.
I know that this has been said before by others but it is incredible how much depth and personality a RACOON has in all three guardian movies.
That Yondu scene with Rocket gets me everytime!
This is a story that broke me, your videos remain a big inspiration to me, and the emotions you managed to capture here were phenomenal, this was both beautiful and touching!

The third movie really recontextualizes this line, in so many ways. Rocket’s been my favorite in the MCU for a long time, for good reason.
He is the Captain of the Guardian of the Galaxy but we know him as Rocket Raccoon
I still remember how people thought "the anthropomorphic raccoon" and "the talking tree" were going to be the MCU's "jump the shark" moment, back when Vol. 1's trailer first came out.
And then James Gunn proceeded to turn said raccoon into one of the deepest, sweetest, most tragic and fleshed out characters in the past 20 years of cinema.
I'm going to miss the Guardians, so freaking much.

Rocket’s backstory legit made me cry and I don’t normally cry in movies. His arc throughout the MCU has been beautifully told. T’Challa (Black Panther) is my favorite but now I add Rocket has my deeply personal favorite character.
This movie will be forever stuck deep within my heart.

I've been waiting for this.. from you specifically. I cried during the movie.. and I am again. I went to that movie because my job during a work retreat wanted me to hang back as the on call developer. I went into the movie with semi-low expectations. I did not expect this story... and I am thankful to James Gunn and his crew.
I believe when Lylla said "There are the hands that guides the hands", means the Lylla met The One Above All. Stated that He was watching over Rocket the whole time. Everything that happened to him was meant to happen him. Just like when Spider-Man met The One Above All, where Spider-Man questioned why did he become Spider-Man and no one else did. And how his actions affected everyone else lives.

The MCU has so few gems nowadays. I struggle to care about it at the best of times and honestly haven't watched or paid attention to much of it in the last 3 or so years. I can happily say that Guardians 3 did not disappoint. Rocket is the heart and soul of this movie.
It's the loss of Lylla, Teefs, and Floor that breaks him. And even though we all knew it was coming, it was still a gut punch.
"This story was yours all along. You just didn't know it."
That last line gets to me every. single. time.
From Vol. 1 - 3. We've been following along his path.

One of the best arcs in the entire MCU. Portrayed beautifully in all 3 movies, as well as being one helluva sidekick to Tony and Thor in the Thanos saga.
It is only a movie, but it had equal impact as Watership Down and I am an adult now! WTF! Sadly, people can be that cruel, as I realize that I cry for Rocket. And I veel ashamed for it.

To me, their pain is all too familiar.
He never ask to born , never ask to be treated to be something that isn't him... That monster created stuff that weren't made to be , created people that were not good enough for his dellusional EGO. That thing , didn't find is purpose in the universe so he tried to be the purpose of other ... And for what ?! Created more lost soul ? You can't create perfection by trying to fix something that isn't broke. You create perfection by letting those ''things'' Exist and be what they want to be. Rocket his not is thing, never was. He was not is creation... His friend .... They found beauty in the strangest place , created their own bubble of love, making bond, learning to love their self like they were meant to be love. Nobody should have that kind of power and thats the entire purpose of this, it was not to him or anybody to decide what is and what shouldn't be. Lyla, Teefs and floor were what we are all look for in the universe and they got snapped away by a maniac who decided that they were a mistake. I'm going to stop myself there because i could keep going like this for hours, spilling my though on the internet but it wont change anything because what is meant to be will be :) Be better than our suffering, beware the power because it is easy to do what other did to us. I love you Slyfer2812 you make me cry a second time today, i just watched the movie and you release that :')
When Drax says Kill him you can hear the anger in his voice like he's almost more angry and hateful towards the High Evolutionary than even Rocket because Rocket is Drax's friend and after seeing what was done to him, he hates the High Evolutionary almost as much as he hated Thanos and Ronin.

Just goes to show that you never really KNOW someone's story or what they've been through to get to where they are now. And that, while your past tells you where you've been, you are not chained to it and it doesn't have to define who you are.
... watched the movie with my kids ... aged 1, 3, 5 ... both the older kids completely broke down and cried a few times asking the most sad questions... what a beautiful character...

Guardians of the galaxy is the best marvel film series. I felt emotional at every film and have hit some personal life stuff each time. This is the quality story telling I expect and people say they are bored of Marvel movies but never herd a single person say they are bored of Guardians.
That and Deadpool for sure
Rocket is truly one of the best written characters in the MCU and i truly thank James Gunn for making a character and guardians of the galaxy 3 made one of the best origin stories oat and this tribute hit deep cause i relate to rocket a lot

Tremendously beautiful and beautifully tremendous. Rocket really has had one of the best character arcs of any MCU character and it seems a shame he might not be as much of a focus going forward.
