Extreme Bush Flying in Papua New Guinea - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

- Hi everyone, I'm back in the trusty Cessna Caravan for some bush flying in Papua New Guinea (PNG). In no particular order I picked out a couple of challenging looking airports in the simulator. This is somewhat inspired by the show: "Worst Place to be a Pilot" just a little across the border from Indonesia. This is one of my first commentaries, so please comment if you liked the video, want more or have any suggestions.
Airports (In Order): AYPE (Takeoff), AYHJ, AYMI, AYII, AYEN, AYUC

Mike ... these are SO MUCH MORE FUN than the "bush flight adventure" things in MS2020. Making the flight plan is tricky as the 2020 flight planner doesn't give your route, but shuffles them. However, one can use NOTEPAD on the .pln file and move the waypoints into the proper order. It would be great if you could somehow let us "at" your flight plan so we wouldn't have to adjust it. But watching you fly them, then flying them ourselves is a LOT of fun! AGAIN, THANK YOU!!!

Doug Linn hi Doug Glad you are enjoying the videos. The flight plan is a little tricky. The way I did it is select the departure and arrival airports. Then search the second last and select as waypoint, then third last and so on.

Wow, MSFS 2020 looks great! I started simming in '95, last one I had was FSX. This vid makes me want to start simming again. I like bush flying, the Caravan Amphibian was my favorite.

Hi, I had checked out the airfields on the simulator, I loaded in and used the drone cam to check out the spot and wrote down the most dangerous looking ones. You can see the runway length and terrain contours in the menu to help narrow them down. Was a little bit time consuming unfortunately.
