The episode where Phil finally snaps and puts the girls to work while watching them like a hawk is one of his best. He's the nicest dad ever, but like every other person, he has limits. You can stretch those limits further than most, but if you stretch them too far and they finally do break, you'll never see him the same way again. That was the day they learned that their mother was really the good cop in the relationship all this time.
