There is a woman in Somalia
Scraping for pearls on the roadside
There's a force stronger than nature
Keeps her will alive
This is how she's dying
She's dying to survive
Don't know what she's made of
I would like to be that brave
She cries to the heaven above
There is a storm in my heart
She lives a life she didn't choose
And it hurts like brand-new shoes
Hurts like brand-new shoes
There is a woman in Somalia
The sun gives her no mercy
The same sky we lay under
Burns her to the bone
Long as afternoon shadows
It's gonna take her to get home
Each grain carefully wrapped up
Pearls for her little girl
Allelujah
Allelujah
She cries to the heaven above
There is a storm in my heart
She lives in a world she didn't choose
And it hurts like brand-new shoes
Hurts like brand-new shoes

Hello Audrey, I discovered your beautiful songs recently, six months or so and the peace and joy your singing has brought to me. God is blessing His people through you. God loves you so much and maybe sees you as his prodigal daughter and longs for you to come back to Him. I am praying for you. Don Williams Jr. from Norristown Pa.
Joining you in prayer for Audrey to be totally healed in her heart from whatever it was that drew her away from worshipping Jesus Christ.
Whether you make Christian music or not, it is all beautiful. Be Thou my vision was what really got me hooked. Amazing song. God has truly blessed you with this gift.
Audrey.... Please come back home. The Father longs to have you return, dear one. His love for you has not changed. Please return home and find rest for your heart. Search for Him, not in the church or within cathedral walls. Search for Him in His Living Word.
I'm praying for Audrey, too. Our Father God doesn't Love her any less in the place she's in now. It just grieves us because we saw the beauty of God's glory on her when she was surrendered to His Spurit.
