As I listened to your song, it made me think about how God is watching over us, and loving us with kindness. It is such a beautiful heartfelt song. Don’t know if you remember a trip to Saskatoon, SK for a church concert about 7 years ago. You did a little “interview” while colouring with our 4 year old daughter Jacinta for her Deep Thoughts Big Red Chair videos she was doing with her mom.
It was a great highlight and blessing to get to know you on that visit and often think and pray for you … especially when I remember I’ve still yet to read Anna Karenina!
Your voice is a real gift of what’s true, good and beautiful. It seems life has changed much for you since then from what I gather, but this song reminds me of what is key and what I’d like to focus on:
You were kind and honest to my family. And I hope we were in return to you. And I pray you know and feel the joy and healing you’ve brought to many through your gift of music. I am thankful to continue to hear it.

Hey Audrey, sending love your way. Beautiful as usual. I heard your testimony and I also struggled with similar issues as a kid involving ties and shame and feeling trapped. I love your song deliver me because even though I thought I was saved growing up I never had victory and it led to dark places and fear and helplessness. I finally met Jesus and He told me He loves me and it was when I stopped trying that He just took over. I’ve done a lot of stupid things. But He has been my constant teacher and helper along the way. My friend and I were horrific sexual abuse survivors and when I hear this song I think of a child who has these fantasies between what a real childhood should have been (velveteen rabbit, green grass, bliss and climbing a tree) and grief. My friend and I are on similar healing journeys and we both had to go backwards psychologically in time to our childhood to get to know the little girls in us who were hurt but somewhere in there still have these beautiful hopes. I am alive today at 35 years old because at 21 Jesus asked me if I was ready to give it over to Him and I finally surrendered. It was a near death experience but I had been fighting since 3 years old and I had no more corners to back up into. I know You are going through a lot too and there is grief along the way. I just want to tell you I appreciate and love you and you are precious. And I hope you are not done with God because i thought I was but the beauty really started to happen to me when I mixed the pain, grief and the surrender. Lay it all out there because He can handle it. You can never let God down. You are precious. No matter what. He has let me go back and grieve and in it He says I am beautiful, I am loved, and He doesn’t care about the messiness. God even had me confront my parents and tell them what happened to me after 33 years. I am telling you this because it’s not my story- it’s His and I thought I would go to the grave with my awful secret. But I am free now from it and there was great healing in my family. I stand before you a chain breaker. God did that for me. I should be dead today. Satan had it on the schedule for sure but God said, “No. She’s mine.” I don’t know if I will ever get the velveteen rabbit and green grass fantasies for me because all I remember was avoiding the fear, but that that is OK- God has shown me His love for me which is unsurpassable to anything else I’ve ever had. The longing for other things and beauty and hopes and dreams- it fades and becomes background music to Jesus loving and pursuing me with all He has. I don’t know where you are at in your life. But I know this, Jesus loves you. Feel free to reach out if you want and I could share some of my testimony with you or have you over for dinner if you are ever in Indiana. Blessings.

Great song structure. Definitely gonna try to work out the chords when I get time ….nights, when our fears can fall to sleep… the chord changes there are beautiful. Audrey God wants to let you know that you are an example to many people! Never abandon his way nor his traditions!
Our Holy Father disciplines and corrects those whom He loves. Nobody snatches a child of God out of His hand. Praying for you Audrey. I don’t know you but your voice can only be annointed from the God of Heaven. Praying you use it to glorify Him even in the struggles. Without God, nothing is blessed. Music doesn’t save a soul. Your previous faithful music was more precious and ten thousand times better than soulless music. We all go through struggles. Forgive people. We don’t understand all of God’s grand design for the universe for He is much greater than our faith. Trust in Him always and count your blessings instead of dwelling on past hurts and losses. His mercies for us may come disguised as rejections and seeming failures. The Word of God says “He tests the righteous” because He is preparing us for something greater in Heaven, after this life. Don’t be deceived by the lies of this worldly life. Don’t take it out on God. Instead run back to Him and He is there waiting for you like the prodigal son story or the Hosea love story. God is faithful in His eternal promises ❤🙏🏽 Trust in Him. All else is sinking sand. May Jesus show you His love.

With an angelic voice like that, I would never turn on God. He can restore or destroy anyone He chooses, now or eternally. But He loved us and sent His son Jesus instead for us to live an eternal life with Him. Only God can save and heal hearts 💕 body and souls. Beautiful sounding song. My personal opinion is that after two rounds of the same melody I am wanting it to go somewhere else - something dynamic, perhaps like a chorus. So with the other 429 at this point, I "like" it but I am looking for more from the song once it gets so far in.

I love your music and respect you deeply. Always will. Your words have helped me through some really tough times. I myself am a Christian. I'm surprised to learned that you turned away from Christianity and became open about it in 2021. I'm not faulting you for that, nor do I believe it's right to push Christianity on anyone. However, when you say you had panic attacks going to church, did you ever think perhaps you were being oppressed? That's Satan's number 1 way of getting us to turn away from the faith.
