- Slash’s best solo ever. From Charlotte 9-25-2019. I thought Slash was on it big time, new level.
Just iPhone video from lower level but obviously not front row lol. Sound is good though and that is what counts. Up till RUclips tells me no.

This solo has quickly become my favorite of all time. It’s gorgeous. Slash is crying a tragic tale through his guitar.
whoever says Slash can't play guitar is a freaking moron. He's one of the best to have ever picked up the instrument; next to Eddie Van Halen, of course.

As a young guitarist hearing this not only gave me hope that I could maybe even come close to his level but nearly brought a 15 year old kid to tears. Rock on Slash

This Solo was my introduction to Slash. I can't believe the emotion and feeling he can put into the guitar, like how? He's literally making the guitar sing, this was beautiful, it kinda felt like him and the guitar was making love.
I was there to witness this awesome Solo. Still gives me damn goosebumps. I love him!!!

@God Love hendrix sucks balls. Yes he started a new wave of guitar playing but that doesnt have to mean that his music was good. Just the new techniques were fun to experiment with
Can imagine
People don't understand how hard this would be for a lot of reallllly good by the book guitar players. That shit is improvised 95% other than the backing guitar/bass/drums. He knows what the backing chords are going to be and can improvise a 5 minute solo worthy of putting on an album. Improvising like that is extremely hard for a lot of players and most guys like to have a scripted solo, especially when you're playing in a sold out stadium to god knows how many people, your average guitar player would be ran off the stage in fright.

Reece Sprague yes some know how to improvise way better than this. Imo this is not even Slash’s best improv. I’ve seen way better.
@@johnp.smithasimpleman7281 but i bet a lot of those people would be afraid to improvise a solo like that to a sold out stadium in front of thousands. most average/ good guitar players dont even play live that often

Love the melody , could listen to this all the time. These types of solo's you walk away with it stuck in your head. If a solo is all speed it doesn't feel as nice and soulful. All around amazing skill

I've been listening to GnR since the late 80's and to hear their songs is one thing, but to witness Slash playing the guitar live is a whole new experience. Slash is defiantly one of the top guitar players

To hear him play now compared to then is mindblowing. Just the amount of improvement is so amazing to me. I couldnt imagine being lead guitarist for at the time the biggest and some still say gratest band of all time. Already women are slobbering over u and everyone already has u on a pedestal of being a Guitar God. Had Hair that made even Troy Paulamaula jealous. I mean a sex symbol and the definition of Sex,Drugs, and Rock and Roll but as years went by ya actually matured and wanted to work on yaself as a person which was byfar the smartest thing you ever did or all is pretty sure you wouldnt be here today. But what amazes me the most is how everyone and everywhere is puttin you in the greatest category and yet u still worked and worked practicing your craft reaching to learn and to be better.Its truely paid off. I mean in thw 80s and 90s, yea I thought you was awesome but then I just couldnt put ya therw with Eric Clapton. I mean u was great and even had everything to be better. What set u apart was ho at times I could here u tend to get a lil messy, but now no... You are as clean and smooth as anyone Ive ever heard. I loves hearing you play some blues or just a lil somethin with that Bluesy sound to it. I absolutely love the G-N-R days but I so so much admire the work youve put in since behind the limelight. SLASH is a Great Role Model.

Nah man. Just needs to keep that les Paul singing. It's part of the feeling to do it with a legendary axe, with a legendary tone. I feel the same way when I play my dads 59 telecaster. Sweet sound from a sweet playing guitar.

My son has a Guitar teacher that hates slash but my son loves him so I let him jam to all the solos and I told him about the time I meant slash back in 93’ and it exploded him and now he wants a lespualgibson with a cigarette burn on the left of the. Back and a top hat and a no fu$& given shirt😂
