Man, there's just something about his stage presence that i can't quite put into words. His outfit, with the tophat and everything, and his playing make him feel like such a legend (which he obviously is). Pretty frickin' epic, if you ask me!
Richard is prob the most underrated rhythm player out there. Dude is a legend and has no problem letting Slash take all the shine. Knowing how good he is and having the lack of ego to take the back seat is something special!!!
I think his best playing ever that cannot be touched or recreated was him in the 80s live while effed up on heroin. You can hear the accent of the drugged out Slash. Look into it, I'm not promoting drug use, but it is something I havent ever seen before in any other player. You wont hear this ever again. Everyone I show is just surprised
the way I've been searching for this video for so long. Just found it a year later. couldn't be more happy. Crazy how this is only an improvisation, slash is a god.
Man what a talent,a prodigy...he is the Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Erin Clapton all in one....I am still blown away not just his obvious talent but by how he expresses emotions through his medium..... just feel so blessed to have seen him a few times and to be able to tap in and hear this man ... So blessed. Thankyou Slash.
I remember when Gary Moore put out Still Got The Blues, it was a revelation. Going from Hard Rock-and he was a top tier Rock Guitarist-to straight-up blues was killer. The same with Gary Hoey, his Blues/Blues Rock albums are excellent. If Slash put out a blues album, I would buy it! Great stuff.
The sound, the legend, one of the real guitar god left in the world from this century. Incredible. You know it’s Slash from the first note and sound. He’s loves playing whatever with whoever he feels like. Kids , listen and observe, Guitar God, not many left now.
I am a Rock lover... but that touch of blues, just rocks the soul out of me... and @Slash is just superb at this.... I have no words to express the metaphysical reactions this sound causes in me.... great trio... but @Slash.... leads....👏🤘🎸🎶❤

It’s great to hear so many Slash fans praising him for his blues playing. Kind of reminds me of a song called " if heartaches were nickels I'd be the richest fool around" by Joe B- massa. @@ROCKERSLASH1 Slash definitely hasn't been too shy- even with the long covering his face, lol. Because the Blues is responsible for basically all American genres of music. Peace
