@@rocketboy9127 nah he’s been using mainly 335’s and Firebirds recently…what he used on his new blues album…sounds awesome too…the 335 is the greatest guitar ever made IMO
It actually does. I was a little sceptic on the first seconds, because his rhythm has never been very good live in AC/DC. But he seemed more relaxed and into the groove here when he doesn`t have to push himself to his limit on the vocals. I really hope he- or someone else picks up on this and starts a blues band. Because AC/DC is DONE and Angus really needs to stop kicking the dead horse. I would rather pay watching Brian and Angus in a blues band like this than in AC/DC right now. Because that band is DONE.
As crazy as it was hearing him sing in this style on the album version, it’s even more insane to see it live. Wish AC/DC could have done something with that over the years besides just on Stiff Upper Lip.
Also Hail Caesar, Boogie Man, Decibel, Rocking All The Way. But in all of them is just a short intro, not the entire song, in Geordie he shows how versatile he actually is.
@chopper1860 I don't think it's that it's too soft, I think they just recognize it's more for added flavor. His higher girthier sound is super unique on first listen. Has a huge draw to it
Love ACDC to bits but after watching this I can’t help feeling they may have robbed us of one of the best rock/blues singers of my generation (yes I’m an oldie).More Brian and Slash please, this most definitely works.Outstanding performance.
BJ rocks with AC/DC and he rocks outside of AC/DC in his own way we've been missing for so long. Thank you, Brian! And hey, he's 78.....and certainly doesn't look his age.
I remember hearing an interview from decades ago of Brain talking about how much he loved the blues. He had said he was influenced by Howlin’ Wolf and many others.
⚡⚡5. October 2024 ⚡⚡ ** Happy Birthday Brian Johnson ** ⚡I wish you all the best ⚡Thanks for your great music , that has accompanied me since 1988 BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO album ⚡⚡THANKS !! ⚡⚡
Brian has so much natural talent; the same guy who sung crazy stuff like Hells Bells and Thunderstruck is also so strong down in this lower register, sounds fantastic.
Big shout out to Teddy "Zig Zag Big Bad" Andreadis "The Greek" on the Hammond and harmonica! All these years after being such a great part of the Use Your Illusion tour!
For all the ones that enjoy this gig , there is a live recording from ac dc when they did ride on back in 2001. Brian sings a lot of the song in his lower segments….i can highly recomed to listen to this🤘🏻🎸
I`d love to agree on that but no. Slash was at his best in the 90s and maybe with Revolver. It seems to me he is a little worned out from touring with GnR and playing only GnR solos year after year. I would be impressed if he showed another side of him on solo on this song but no. He just Jimmy Paged it like he does in GnR. Great guitar player but playing like that on a blues song like this, just doesn`t cut it. IMO
Don't get me wrong, I love Brian in AC/DC, but I wish we got more of this. Much more. I've always felt that Brian with his voice would be very well suited for blues. And this proves it.
I really want to hear more Brian Johnson sound like THIS!
sounds a little like Ian Gillan on last 2 albums from Deep Purple
Brian sounds a bit like Tom Jones 😊
Look him up in the band "Geordie".. before AC/DC.
Look up Geordie version of House of the Rising Sun. Phenomenal vocals from Brian.
@@GWW-o1f i know that band ;)
Slash not playing a Les Paul. Brian Johnson signing in his normal voice. Damn. Lightning does strike twice.
Didn't have it with him😊
lightning always strike twice ;)

@@mr.smithgnrsmith7808 no way dude. Black Beauty on Apetite in Welcome on the Jungle wasthe best ever made ;)
Brian's voice sounds amazing in this register
He used it in his song Goodbye Love in his old band Geordie.
Lamentablemente parece que le falta volúmen
The world needs more Brian Johnson Blues-Songs. Sounds so good!!!

@@eltoro969 I think acdc was great this year (saw em in Vienna)

You beat me to it, I couldn't agree more.
Demon fire also though demon fire is reeeaaaally deep.
Also Hail Caesar, Boogie Man, Decibel, Rocking All The Way. But in all of them is just a short intro, not the entire song, in Geordie he shows how versatile he actually is.
as fantastic as brian johnson sounds here, it wouldn't fit to AC/DC, because it sounds a bit too soft for ACDC
@chopper1860
I don't think it's that it's too soft, I think they just recognize it's more for added flavor. His higher girthier sound is super unique on first listen. Has a huge draw to it
Two legends on stage, can't get any better than that.
Hell yes! Fantastic performance by our great Brian Johnson! ⚡
🤘Marco!!!
Well said Marco 👍I 💯agree 😊😊😊😊
💥Forever!! ☝️😎👍💪🎙️🎶🔥🔥🔥🤘
Even though it's Slash, Brian always still has this urge to stand back and let the lead guitar shine through.
first axl singing for AC DC, now we got brain singing for/with slash. what's next? :)
A collaboration with Duff would be the next natural step.
Joe Biden singin’ at Trump’s convention.

The never-ending power of rock and roll!!!
Brian Johnson has the old school Soul/Blues vocal.
You sound amazing Brian! Keep rock and rollin'🤟🎸🎶👌
You hear a little bit of this side of Brian Johnson on Rock and Roll ain't noise pollution. A full blues album from Brian and Angus would be great.

Anyone notice, Slash plays in the wrong key at the end, haha.. Otherwise, an awesome show! Brian should do more gigs outta Accadacca.

Fantastic sound from the Legends
Howlin' Wolf classic from 1964. Blues roots brilliantly interpreted by aged rockers. Oh shit, we're getting old!
Wolfgang done a helluva great job on the harmo!
