Thanks for your advice, just done it and it’s brilliant. (After measuring with ruler I tacked along the line turned it to make sure it was finishing up correctly before any cutting).
It’s like home improvement, once you start, there’s a chain reaction of other issues 🤪 There is often another seam in jacket sleeves so that would be the place to do that. But it’s also not usually too drastic, so I’m not sure I’ve ever found it worth it 😅 I do it all the time with pants though 🤷♀️ But a jacket isn’t going to be perfect unless it fits off the rack, or is custom made. Shortening also affects where the elbow is, but it’s not always worth following the chain 😂😅

I usually use the ladder stitch, very invisible! I think I have a video of that too?
What about narrowing slim when it is too wide and too long??? Most of the time after shortening suit sleeves the opening become too wide.
