Thank you Patricia, I always love your Brick Talk! I only have 2 bricks currently but I do have lots of old and neglected bars so I have been inspired by you to do my very own Project Use It Up! I’ve been powering through some “ho-hum” bars bought in too much haste during flash sales or BBMB. It’s very satisfying to plan out a list and cross them off when they’re done! Simple pleasures, eh? 😊
Yes! It’s like people struggling with finances do better once they sit down and plan / budget. Even though I have a boatload of wax I feel better that I’ve inventoried and dated and grouped bars so I’m concentrating on melting the oldest stuff when at all possible. Good luck!! Candy Cane Wishes is on my BBMB wish list. In the mean time, I'm going to try mixing Silver Bells with Peppermint Rush to tide me over - for who knows how long. Scents I don't like I warm in my boss's office...with the door closed. 🤣😂 He's rarely on site though, so he doesn't care. I really enjoy the brick talk videos and seeing all the progress you are making. It's a helpful reminder for me to chop and warm my own bricks. The Scentsy is You brick is calling to me. Looking at your screenshot I would love for cranberry and tinsel to come back again so I could club it …it and cranberry garland are such awesome cranberry scents
I like MSC - almost done that brick. I need to work on Caramel Chestnut - It's not a fave so I will for sure need to mix it. I really enjoyed Holly Jolly Cider - but not the tree brick shape. I printed a picture of your guide from your video to remember the size of each section. I hope Scentsy just does the regular brick shape and not the tree next year. Very festive and it looks nice - but I prefer the other style.
I also don’t really like MSC. It is too strong for me. I mix it with a bit of sugar cookie and that helps. I love winter’s eve though. You did really well with your brick effort this season. Well done. I try to work on some of my bricks on the weekend. It helps me to use them.
Ohhhh! I absolutely adore Ginger & Spruce, having gotten a bar in the last surprise 6-pak bundling in the Festive Friday sale. I haven't been able to find any and I refuse to look at eBay ;) And you're not alone ... I *hate* Maraschino Sugar Cookie. Love your brick videos. I avoided bricks for a solid 12 years of being a Scentsy fan but then I fell down the you tube Scentsy wax rabbit hole your videos convinced me to give it go and now they are a favorite of mine. I just did Very Snowy Spruce and Sugar Cookie and it was sooooo good. Happy Christmas 🎄
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Yep, so I cut my bricks like you taught us in your video in 3rds. I don’t have a very snowy spruce brick I have a bar. So I did 1/3 of a sugar cookie brick cube with one bar cube of very snowy spruce in the same warmer. I did that for each of my warmers in my open concept. It’s such hit. We did it tree decorating night.
Love the brick progress videos. I just watched your chopping video and I'm going to try that with putting the chopped pieces back in the clamshells. Would store better than plastic baggies!
You did such an awesome job on those bricks!! The whole time you were talking about the caramel brick in your overnight warmers be cause it mingles with your morning coffee - I was like “ohh that’s genius!” 😂. I would run laps for a brick of Silver Bells, Candy Cane Wishes, and Olaf! Not to rub it in, but I do so enjoy Maraschino Sugar Cookie. It mixes fantastically 1:1 with St Nickerdoodle if you have any. It’s one of my fav combos for this time of year and it KNOCKS OUT lingering food smells any time of the year. I’ll be cheering you on this next round, have a fabulously smelly time! You’ve created great momentum that’s really carrying you along now!! 👏 🥳 🌬️⛵️
II really really really do not like very snowy spruce. I also do not like clean breeze by itself, it reminds me of mothballs. But together very snowy speruce and clean bereeze do very well. It knocks both of the scents down enough so that I can at least stand it. I take 1 cube of very snowy spruce in one warmer and 1 cube in 3 separate warmers in the same room as the snowy spruce and it was fine.
MSC is my favorite!! I still have two bricks and a partial also in club lol. Would love to try Candy Cane Wishes someday! Sounds good. I’m a brick loving girl! ☺️
Maraschino Sugar Cookie is okay, but too strong! It makes me physically sick. All I need is a SLIVER of a cube to fill a room. I think I've used 1.5 rows of my brick. I put it in rooms I don't go into often just to use it. LOL
@PatriciaG-NosetoToes not really..I've never tried cherry almond pie but I think that would be perfect..I love cherry and almond scents..not so much pie crust

At my new place I leave most of my warmers on 24/7 but I do have some spares I use as overnights too.

Yes. I often warm my family’s favourites when they are at home and I’m at work. That way I don’t have to smell them as much

Yes and grocery store plastic baggies are not scent safe so they leach the scent… which is not desirable. We need all the scent we can get!

I wish I loved Very Snowy Spruce. I did or t it’s the amber with the tree I don’t love. It’s a fancy tree scent in a way
I don’t like maraschino sugar cookie. However I don’t like cherry scents and the only cherry scent I have found that I like is amaretto
