I’ve got an iPhone 15 Pro Max, a tripod and several photography apps. I want to take photos that shows a lot of stars (and ideally the Milky Way). First of all, which app should I use to take these pictures? The stars get smudges when I take photos with the native camera app set to 30 seconds of exposure. I guess it’s because the starts move a bit on the sky in 30 seconds. What should I set the ISO to? And how about the focus? Thanks!
All those magnetic tripod attachments give me the willies. I had one and stupidly moved the tripod while the camera was still attached. Guess what happened? Yup. Face-down on gravel. Chipped glass. :( Third time I'd used my brand effing new first ever iPhone. A 15 Pro Max, too.
Ooh man I would so love to meet you as well and learn first hand how to take such a beautiful astro photos😍 Going to Australia in june (going on a WHV) so if you could let me know some nice spots or areas it would be awesome!! ❤️
If you still have the S23 Ultra, you may want to see if lossless has been added back to Expert raw app. If so, you may want to recheck astrophotography mode, it may have been unnerfed. My last picture with S24 Ultra in astrophotography mode had greatly diminished banding.
The next time I am Down Under, I will let you know. LOL But the next time will actually be my first time. On my bucket list. If you are coming to New York City, maybe I'll be lucky enough to get some one on one training and some light polluted Star Trails. Love the channel. Keep up the good content Shayne
Love your channel, but I have the s24 ultra and was hoping for tips on photography with it. Can you recommend another channel that can help with that, please? I get you don't have the money to buy every phone.
Thanks for the great video, always enjoy watching them. Just upgraded from my iPhone 12 pro to a iPhone 15 pro max, what an amazing improvement. Have done a few night and sunset shots and they came out fantastic. Thanks Shayne!
