His comedy was brilliantly funny. Non political, not dirty, no bad language….not that I’m some goodie goodie but I find that tough to do in comedy. It’s no wonder he’s the best. Thank you for this upload💕
God damn this is the video compilation i been waiting for. I find the intros more entertaining than the actual sitcom, even though Seinfeld doesn't swear and curse. Thanks Nic!
You really come to appreciate just how tightly the music is composed for each of these segments. It all sounds like it could be the same exact music, but it isn't. It's actually composed to fit the rhythm of his speech, accentuate the different stages of the joke, with pauses for set ups and escalation. It's quite brilliant scoring.
I love Jerry Seinfeld so much….just clean but hilarious!! Although some of the references remind me I’m old (pay phones and smoking in restaurants lol)I was in 7th and 8th grade in the 90’s but still remember watching it with my parents🤣
I admire Jerry Seinfeld's sitcom. It is really beautiful & the theme song sounds so nice. I also feel like I'm watching some episodes of "Seinfeld" when I watch this beautiful compilation video of his (Jerry Seinfeld) stand up bits. I even like that there's truth in some of his jokes.
Alot of people will say they arent a fan of his standup. But amongst professional comedians he's a god. They've all watched every episode a dozen times. They dont dare to say a negative thing
Thank you so much for this! lol Little something off though: I don't recall having watched the austronaut bit where Seinfeld says "So... Did you see me up there?".
I rarely, if ever, put effort into liking a video on RUclips, but I'd be remiss if I didn't do that for this video. Thanks for putting effort into this!
Comedy so often seems to be debate between people that want to criticize "the powerful" or those who want to mock "the icky people." Sometimes i think we all just want to laugh at a tuna sandwich and that's why we have Jerry.
Seinfeld won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy in 1993, beating out its family-oriented, time-slot competitor Home Improvement, which was only in its second season on rival network ABC at that time. It was also nominated for Golden Globe Award for Best TV-Series (Comedy) in 1994, always lost to Frasier, which went on to win a record 39 Emmy Awards in its 11-season run, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 1995, 1997 and 1998. Apart from these, the show was also nominated for an Emmy award from 1992 to 1998 for Outstanding Comedy Series, Golden Globe award from 1994 to 1998 for Best TV-Series (Comedy), and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from 1995 to 1998. The show even received the Peabody Award in 1993.
Funniest ones are the jimmy episode about buying shoes, the label maker one where we really just root for the shirts of teams not the players, and the one where night guy always screws morning guy lol
to the people saying the music is too loud try the actual show, it's the same (these were to introduce what happens in the episodes) fun fact: the dude had who made the music had to record the tracks for each stand up segment (they're all different)
You think soda commercials are weird? Have you seen car commercials? They're either doing something crazy, or are just having a nice drive, but no matter what, they're always the only car on the road, like unless they're showing other models, they're the only car on the road
I've thought about it for so long now! lol I think I got the answer: the conductor is there to make sure everybody is on the right pace. All musicians there know the notes, but everybody has a time of their own. The conductor must be a traffic light to the orchestra, being there to make people go, make people slow down and make people speed up when it's time. That might be it.
According to Barry Meyer, chairman of Warner Bros. Entertainment (parent company of Castle Rock Entertainment), Seinfeld made $2.7 billion through June 2010 through off-network syndication and cable syndication. As of February 2017 the show had made an estimated $4.06 billion in syndication. Steve Bannon, who invested in the show, later said, "We calculated what it would get us if it made it to syndication. We were wrong by a factor of five". In September 2019, it was announced that Viacom (now Paramount Global) had acquired cable syndication rights to the series from TBS, with it airing on Comedy Central beginning in October 2021, Nick at Nite from May 31, 2022, until November 12, 2022, and TV Land since February 11, 2023.
This is incredible. Don't buy his specials. They are terrible. This is like all his best material where he still had the enthusiasm about the jokes. Its perfect Jerry.
Never felt so out of place in a RUclips comment section before. I can’t really relate to anybody as far as basically all the comments go. Well, I suppose it’s time to go watch some Bill Burr or Dave Chapelle then.
I want to write that my name is Josh Tate and i want to write that i was reading online that when Netflix loses the streaming rights to Seinfeld in August 2026 that a there's a good possibility that the streaming service MAX could actually end up becoming Seinfeld's permanent and official streaming home.
Sorry if i came off as brash. You did a great job here. I was telling my girlfriend about a specific opener (or maybe closer) that was a little creepy. Seinfeld spoke of liking those small gymnast butts. I skimmed through all of these and didn't see it. I wonder if it was from the episode The Gymnast.
It at least included the sole one (after the Larry David seasons, 1-7) from Season 9's The Finale. Though not the prison one at the very end, but that was more included within the episode's story not it's own segment like the usual ones.
I know it was a joke, but I think I remember hearing the reason giving the middle finger was an insult, was because back during the days of the Middle Ages archers got their middle fingers (the finger they use for either aiming or shooting the arrows) cut off, so as a sign of rebellion, they'd show their middle fingers
False. The “middle finger” gesture does not derive from the mutilation of English archers at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. Some historians trace its origins to ancient Rome.
Nobody else, no other delivery could pull off this observational/analytical style of humor ... Thank you Mr. Seinfeld.
This is not humour, it's complete drivel.
