Born in 1948, no seatbelts, no ac, I'd sit in the back seat with the window down and stick my head out from time to time to get cool, slides were metal, very tall and fun, except for the burning sensation when it was high noon, swings were great, we'd swing as high as we could and then jump out, climb every tree possible, fall down, scrape our knees, elbows, fingers and not ever pause to worry about it. I recently turned 76, remember the good old days and stand up comics who were hysterical and clean. Thank you, Jeff Allen, for bringing some of that back to me!❤
Check out Fred Upton on dry bar comedy as well, he’s great. I love comedy, a vast array of different ones including those with colorful language haha but the dry bar comedians are typically good about “clean” comedy & Fred Upton is great as well! Take care!
Months after my mother passed away, I couldn't stop crying. One night, I happened to stumble on this and I was up until 3 am laughing so hard I was crying. My son heard me and got worried, so he came in to check on me. He laughed and said he couldn't tell if I was laughing or crying. You had me doing both!! Thanks for saving me. ❤️
Jeff Allen is one of the truly talented comedians of our time...he doesn't have to rely on dirty jokes or vulgar language...just a truly gifted comedian...Appreciate you!
I agree that he is great but I don’t put down others bc of their use of language, sometimes a well placed swear word can actually make the joke funnier imo. But it doesn’t need it to be every other word for sure. I just love comedy of all types
I'm almost 60 and was only married for 12 years. I chose to be right. Oh well, live and learn. All I know is that I have a brand new grandchild and there are some reparations that are going to be had.

Now that he's clean for years, he's trying to come back but I think bigger enterprises don't want him cuz their "record" might get "tainted" by "him". Not Dry Bar tho, they're doing amazing.
I'm 75 and can relate to EVERYTHING you say. The sliding board bit was great, but one thing we did was steal a box of 'waxed paper' from somebody's mom's kitchen, sit on a piece of that, and every slide felt like a 'freefall'. You'd go so fast that you'd get to the bottom quicker than a kid that fell backwards off the ladder, then fly off the end, and run ten yards trying to stop. Was like a water slide with no water at the bottom.
I think you could write your stories for Jeff. I'm 64 and we still had those slides in my tiny little ranch community border town in Arizona. Talk about hot!
This guy has jokes within jokes surrounded by jokes - so fully - every sentence is packed full of stuff, and it's all good. He's a genius! Love his stories.

My kids say that Jeff and his standup sounds just like me and their dad!! My kids used to think we were fighting or "bickering" ( as they call it) Rick and I called it our" love language" I love dry bar! I love the comedians! Love Morgan to! Heartfelt condolences. I lost my husband suddenly 14 years ago. He was 52. I miss him every day. Comedy/ laughter is healing. It took me years to laugh again. But l can and do a lot of it now. It is such a balm. I'm so thankful to Jeff for clean humor. This Fall would have been our 44th anniversary.

Jeff is hilarious. Conveys his experience of being an older adult but makes it so relatable and understandable for younger people. He really knows how to carry on a theme throughout the set, but not making it too in your face. So good.

30 years old, myself. I can honestly say Jeff is one of the best comedians I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. You don't need to be old to appreciate his amazing comedic talent. He weaves his jokes into the incredibly smooth delivery of each story. There are very few comedians who have that feeling of ease on stage. It just seems effortless to him. It just goes to show how much work he's put in to perfecting his craft as well. He has me in hysterics every time I come back to listen to him! My god, I hope he graces Canada with his presence. I would love to see him here in Vancouver, BC!

Jeff is hilarious. Conveys his experience of being an older adult but makes it so relatable and understandable for younger people. He really knows how to carry on a theme throughout the set, but not making it too in your face. So good.

30 years old, myself. I can honestly say Jeff is one of the best comedians I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. You don't need to be old to appreciate his amazing comedic talent. He weaves his jokes into the incredibly smooth delivery of each story. There are very few comedians who have that feeling of ease on stage. It just seems effortless to him. It just goes to show how much work he's put in to perfecting his craft as well.
He has me in hysterics every time I come back to listen to him! My god, I hope he graces Canada with his presence. I would love to see him here in Vancouver, BC!

Jeff Allen is a genius! This is my favorite comedy bit ever! I've listened to it so many times and it's still as funny as it was the first time. It takes a truly talented, smart, witty person to be that funny without having to use profanity and lewdness.

Why have I not heard of this genius before? Only recently have found this man on RUclips quite by accident. I have attended comedy clubs, paid for and watched comedy specials, etc. He slays it! Plus, he's clean, which means he isn't lazy, he's smart. Thank you Dry Bar Comedy for sharing Jeff.
