Very helpful- I've got one of these 6-pounders sitting unbuilt and you've completely demystified the construction

One thing I usually find helpful with wheels is adding some platic putty. It doesnt speed up the process but helps keep it stable while it drys

Oh boy, putting together Warlord's artillery kits is the stuff of nightmares. I found that stabilising the wheels and axis to the table with a couple of wads of Blu-Tac does wonders to stop it from rolling about and generally moving. Great tutorial though, subbed!

I found your channel while trying to build my 6 pounder today. Thanks for the info (I didn't know Warlord had a build page for things) and the pic for the build.

Nice work, as always! But, what happens when Warlord doesn't include any assembly diagram on the product page, nor is it present in their archive of outdated assembly diagrams? This is currently the situation with many of the Polish kits (all of which are metal or resin). However, I just went to try to build Polish 100mm Medium Artillery kit after watching this video. Just *be patient* , dry fit everything 3-4x before you glue, and it will all start to make sense. It went from being a confusing jumble of pewter to really making a lot of sense after I looked at the reference photos on Warlord's site, and calmly looked at the kit pieces. Hope is never lost!

Built my first Canadian six lb. AT gun, and I have to say, that was a little slice of hell.

@@scalehistoryslc819 I did, yes. Your video helped quite a bit.
It was worth the effort, because I think it turned out great.
I've been building Warhammer metal models for twenty years, but the metal of the Bolt Action miniatures is much softer and takes some getting used to.
      Cheers.

Well done! The only ting I would have added would have been pointers on the best method of straightening bent gun barrels. Every metal gun I get has a bent gun and I cant seem to get them straight. I am afraid of repeated stressing them till they break. How to fix this?

    • @scalehistoryslc819

If it’s a thick barrel like for an anti tank gun, it will be strong enough to bend by hand until it looks straight. If it’s a smaller caliber like an AA gun, you have to be more careful - but if the gun is so bent that it’s unusable, you can always contact Warlord’s excellent customer service, and they will almost always send you a replacement part free of
      Charge!
