- Just a nursery update displaying how my carnivorous plants are looking like right now. 'Its almost the end pf Autumn and many of my Venus Flytraps and North American pitcher plants are entering their necessary dormancy mode. I also be showing off my latest additions to my collection consisting of various species of Sundews including the mighty Drosera regia (King sundew). I also have brand new and amazing looking Sarracenia cultivars and hybrids including 'Dana's Delight'. In this video update I'll also be discussing basic winter care guidelines. Happy growing!

Welcome back!!
nice nursery, wonderful plants :)
Thank you.......the diversity of carnivorous plants is simply amazing.......so much to learn .....
I really dream of having a carnivorous garden one day ^^
I'm sure you will one day. Seeing my plants interact with insects and seeing how they get caught has been a very rewarding experience. Not to mention watching the plants themselves grow.
The faded label on that sundew should read Drosera coccicaulus
Thanks Paul ....I'll make sure I go over with a fresh marker ....👍
Venus flytraps are the best, I have a few under lights inside.
Thats awesome ......what do you feed them with ?
@@succulentflytraps Bottom feed with NU pure spring water from the supermarket and I add hydroponic nutrients not full strength, a tad of fish emulsion, they are in Cocoa core, peat moss and perlite, they catch flies now and then if they make it into my place but I risked adding a few things and their mouths have gone really dark red and the big ones are about 40mm wide.
@@succulentflytraps They sit permanently in a bottom feed, out in the Queensland sun they just had light green traps and blackened off fast.
@@succulentflytraps It's a myth that you can't fertilize them a bit.
@@chokethewoke746spring water and fertilizer 💀 I would love to know how long they stay alive
