I remember Techno saying BajanCanadian was very nice and not toxic
During Minecraft Monday Techno repeatedly said that out of everyone he saw Bajan as the most respectful and chill, which he was, and that Jerome and CaptainSparklez were also kind to him instead of calling him out or targeting him
Plus sky made an appearance in SMPLIVE, although it was kind of short lived and he sounded really high all the time.
Isn't Techno part of the old generation? He's been uploading since the early 2010s.
@@mw14324 It’s not about WHEN he started uploading that makes him part of the old or new generation, it’s when he started to get well-known around the community. Techno just started to blow up in summer 2019, which makes him part of the new generation.

The story is different from each person, but they are happy now. They just had a large disagreement. I wouldn't bash Ross, Max, or Red for moving on. Staying together with Sky would've been bad for their mental health. Breaking off was the best thing for them and they are beyond happy right now.

From what I know about SkyDoesMinecraft. I'll give the abridged version here. He had a son with his then girl friend. At the time he planned on marrying her. Turned out she was abusive which is what lead to the decline in his mental health.
Fast forward a bit and he essentially won a game of 5D chess against that girlfriend involving an elaborate plan in tricking a rap artist into contacting her for dirt against sky and then using the video the rap artist made as proof of all the lies his girlfriend had spread about him. And he now has custody of his son.
It appears his trying to branch into music, which might be another reason his old "main channel" is suffering. He actually has a seperate channel he uses to upload his music too.

The trollcraft streams were the highlight of my days in 2016 and just the streams in general. In 2017 where I believe biffle, Andrew and Steve came along were also great
Honestly, respect for Jerome. When a lot of youtubers left Minecraft, Jerome stuck with it, and kept it alive.

@@lincolntalks4444 His channel has declined greatly over the past few years. He still makes videos and his overall style hasn't changed, but his channel never really recovered even after Minecraft became cool again. He's just happy to still be making videos so the amount of views he gets isn't really important to him, which I do appreciate.

I don't feel nostalgic seeing this, probably because I grew up watching portuguese and brazilian youtubers.
DanTDM has been my childhood, I still watch him now. I've watched him for years, and almost nothing has changed about his personality.

Watching Dantdm’s old mod reviews was such a nostalgia blast, especially when he referenced Dr. Trayaurus in his hardcore series. I also remember popularmmos’ mod challenges with Jen, along with the mob battles. The nostalgia really does hurt

I swore that was drama that had happened a long while ago......but I'm happy that he's okay now. He was my favorite during my childhood, and i remember that I was lowkey a little hurt when I saw he said he was quitting. That child me still within my heart is happy that he's back and doing well emotionally :)

I remember watching Ssundee as a kid and loving him. When I finally got into one of his servers I was fortunate enough to play against him personally in a survival games match. However after he lost early in the round, he accused everyone in the game of targeting him and literally banned those in the game from his server. This was such a reality check to kid me not to idolize these people because honestly they’re probably a bunch of jerks off the camera.
That's shocking thanks for the share. I'm not surprised, RUclipsrs will act professional on camera but it's totally different when nobody is watching.
Yeah when was this. This was most likely years ago when he was much less mature. The dude has a wife and multiple kids now. He has definitely matured since then. Plus he could have been having a bad day, or something. You really don't know what goes on in his personal life.
I used to be a huge Ssundee fan too, but the straw that broke the camels back for me was the attempted conversion video. I'm still disgusted by that video, how to lose your fanbase 101. Strangely though, he was still pretty popular after that video.

While Dan has maintained his overall popularity, I don't feel the same when watching him now when I watched him before. He did do a giant change around 2016 - 2017 were he stopped his ongoing Minecraft Custom Mod adventures series, which was one of the reasons I liked him. I has hope that he may come back to the series, but after a year or so I gave up and unsubscribed. I am happy for how far he has come on the internet, keeping up with the latest trends. It sometimes ticks me off when he claims that his older vids were cringe, but its ok. Time from time, I'll watch his old videos, and remember when I was always anticipating the next one.
His content isn’t as good anymore but you can’t really blame him for the change because if he continued Minecraft videos his channel would have died like everyone else’s

Everyone saying that ohh they died and would never be at the spot they one's we're but you have to think about the fact that they are in their 30s most of them having a family which involves more time taking care of ur loved ones then doing minecraft videos you have to think that all of them are millionaires they made it they can chill now they deserve a retirement let the new youtubers a place that's my opinion tbh.
And what was worse with sky’s situation was that he also seperated from a few of his friends such as Ross, aphmau, barney, mutha and and now he has completely seperated from them. He and Ross even had some sort of argueement on Twitter about events from before he stopped youtube that occurred behind the scenes and well now he is very different than before
That public fight with Ross didn’t need to happen honestly. As far as I know, both parties were just happy to move on and forget the past, but the fans backed them both into a corner, and they were kinda forced to duke it out. A few months ago, Adam made a video looking over his past videos, in which had featured some stuff he did with Ross back in the day. He made a small remark about how they’d gone their own ways, and that Ross didn’t wanna work with him anymore, but Adam said he would be open to it if Ross was. This caused their fans to harass Ross on Twitter and question him about it. It turned into a fight about how bad some things went at Sky Media for both parties and it’s basically resulted in Ross wanting nothing to do with Adam, possibly even resenting him. Remember though, Adam didn’t start the fight, Ross didn’t start the fight, it was their fans that made them duke it out.
Fans of, not just RUclipsrs, but everything in this world believe themselves to be entitled, and that if they want something, then whoever creates should give. No one will admit it, but that’s the truth, and sometimes said creators buckle and bend over, and when they do, it’s usually not very well done....
I miss Barney etc. someone people seem to forget who played with sky was bodil40, I remember He made maps and stuff? And they did a speed runners map troll with an impossible jump thing.

I watched him since back before the first diamond dimensions series, I kind of left after he started roblox, I have no ill will towards the guy, my brother might because he used to adore his videos, but he did what he thought was necessary, or "neat" so I say let him, we all out grow things eventually, even content creators.

I mean his content isn't great for anyone who's even a bit mature, but honestly I'm glad I had Dan as my childhood, there are channels that are a lot worse that also target children, at least Dan's stuff is pretty harmless. Now all i get in recommended is trash.. and minecraft multiplayer is kinda non existent since my only fun mode was block wars the core on cubecraft and mineplex when it was popular i kinda got minecraft when it was dying so i didn't get to play during the good times that much and hypixel is nowhere near as fun as mineplex during the golden times also castle siege.

I can try to find some links to it if you want but it ain't fun. Part of why i lost interest in the community

The thing about DanTDM is that he switched quite rapidly over to Roblox during the Minecraft downtime, bringing an audience of children that had no real youtuber at the time, making both parties grow. Like how Ninja and Fortnite influenced eachother.
Dan was pretty smart in what videos he did at times and how he adapted which is why he still does so well in terms of views today
He knows that one way or another, a game he plays will die, and it's smart of him to not stick to one game too much.

The nostalgia, I feel it was only a couple years ago when Jerome was mostly doing live streams with stuff like missile wars, Ssundee was doing minecraft murder mysteries, and Dantdm was doing mod reviews in his old lab
