It really surprised me that many reviewers seemed never know that with 360 video cameras (like GoPro Hero Max) and much cheaper VR headsets (Quest 2 or 3), you can not only “live in memory”, but in much more immersive 360 photos and videos! I have been using this for more than 2 years and recorded my families every trip: from skiing down the double black trail (360 video perfectly recreated that fear of steepness) to swimming in the tropical pool (yes, 360 videos can be shot underwater); from driving along Ice Field Highway, to riding horses along a rural path; from going on a rollercoaster with kids, to be at scene of a historical event. Everything is 360, totally immersive, NOT just a 3D framed image in front of you, which certainly make yourself feel outside that memory. So unfortunately your number one “only Vision Pro can do” stuff has already been done by many VR users over years, at much lower cost, and with much, much more flexibility. (BTW, do you know that with tens of thousands of exiting Google Street View photos and user provided 3D photos on Google Maps, any VR users, except for Vision Pro users maybe, can already enjoy 360 images around most of the world cities?) Tomorrow I will record some more 360 skiing videos. Good luck trying the same with new $4000+ Apple Vision Pro, unless you want some really unique and expensive bad memory.

Yes, but I’m guessing they were thinking…the tech can blow people away and we need a lot of raw power to pull this off. So yea they could wait for glasses, but that could be decades off. The power you need to run this thing is going to be hard to pull off without a wire going to something else. I’m hoping somehow wifi or Bluetooth technology will get a lot better and somehow allow for all the computer specs to work through the air. Not sure if that’s possible. @@tylerrhodes9069 True, never thought about that. What's your overall opinion on the AVP though?
So those games which you mentioned. How do we watch it. From apple tv?
You can record spatial video on your iPhone 15 pro
mike - Gotta be here for future!
I’m disappointed in the keyboard and not being able to connect a physical Apple Pencil to Goodnotes.
What is the title and how long did you take to get to the point. Slightly frustrating
13:35 That's weird I never heard anyone get that from XR before.
I was expecting that watching sports would be like sitting in the stadium & not just watching a big floating screen with stats.
It will be a combination of that, google the F1 app for it. Also MLS soccer is going to be insane. I believe you will be able to pause and move around on field next year (not this year) and It will also have the live map that you can put on a surface.
Nice! Thanks for the video!
Thanks!
Pls review the Redmi buds 5
Ya i dont see this product having much success
7:59 Like a quest 3 on a PC with a any VR headset?
Wait, are you related to Nate with the same last name? Tricked me into thinking of him when I saw this thumbnail
Does anyone know if the usb pass through on the battery works to plug in an external SSD to transfer files?
It’s brilliant, but too expensive for what it does right now.
you can capture the memories on an iphone 15 in spatial video.
well done apple 🍎
😂😂😂😂
My phone does just fine thank you very much lol
Tony Stark, ask J.A.R.V.I.S. (Just a Rather Very Intelligent System) to build the suit.
They should have made glasses first… I don’t know why they did this
Yes, but I’m guessing they were thinking…the tech can blow people away and we need a lot of raw power to pull this off. They probably wanted to give us the Apple smooth interface feeling, and was willing to do it before they could get the size or weight down. I just hope they keep improving this.
Obviously to be cool 😎
Can’t you just record 3d video with your iPhone? (At least with 15p it works I think)
6:28 What about the 3DS and new 3DS that did that same thing too?
Yea but the cameras on that sucked and I feel like this one will be more optimized And actually fully put you back into the moment. Imagine kids 20 years from now being shown their family events in first person and viewing your family history like your actually there
I will buy it when it is under 600 dollar and 10th gen. I will be skiing with it because it is blocking all light.
Interesting…you be able to capture everything within your pov. It’s cool but we will see.
you can record spatial 3d vids on your iphone how do you not know that
I mentioned that in the video
I’ll wait for apple glass
Bro need to tell us wat we all really wanna know
Tried. Seems to be disabled. On the “sites” it says headset not detected
Cross-eyed after removing motion sickness and eye fatigue sound like the vision pro can't adjust ipd correctly tbh, never yet this with the quest because I set ipd manually and i know my ipd
I am going to question the lossless audio bit
Does one have to own a IPhone to get the most out of this headset? I own Android devices.
I would love to have this but i cant afford that price
Don’t, you will act like stupid outside the public.. 😂😂
Hey buddy, so you DON'T get LOSSLESS audio on AirPods
IKR, like is not lossless audio, is just Hifi audio these dumb apple fanboys
@@KaiJ778 On the AirPods Pro Gen 2, you get 20-bit 48kHz Lossless audio when connected to the Vision Pro. He is correct.
Do a META Quest 3 comparison
👍👍video, 1st gen Apple Vision pro is a public beta (cash to blow) & developer device, waiting to see where the technology takes us by 3rd-4th generation of Vision Pro, the narrow field of view size weight unpolished glitches & high cost make this a pass for majority of people
I swear you said the 1st 4 user experiences can't be done with other headsets......they can!!!??? 🤔
Not like this. I've tried tons of other headsets and it's never like this
@@MikeOBrienMedia you mentioned 4 being things that can't be done on any other headset 🤔 It's extremely misleading 😒
can't wear spectacles weighing 25gms for 10hours straight, 500gms for straight 3 hours, my eyeeesssssss
Are we gonna ignore the fact that he is wearing a Shopify hoodie??
The only thing usefull i could see with this device is watching movies in 3D . Lets make an example with avatar . Since you can put a screen in front of you , i wonder if its possible to see particles coming out the screen 😂😂
All the features you mentioned already available on oculus. Live visits etc
this is so cool but it’s basically just ur phone or laptop lol
You do know you can make the Mack book screen 55 inches right?
Datz impossible! 😳
The Home Screen looks a lot like the P.S vitas Home Screen
“did punxutawney phil see shadow”
Mike is moving on up, to the Eastside
Everyone should wait for the 2nd generation. It’ll be lighter, longer battery life, and more applications!
it was very obvious this was a new and great device like the first iphone
Aside from the 3d capture stuff, your use cases have been available from other devices for years.
I’m in!
Kurt Cobain in '93: "I think they’ll use sounds and tones for music and use it in their virtual reality machines. And just listen to it that way and get the same emotions from it. And then go to a party. There’ll be a virtual reality machine there with a whole bunch of headphones and if you wanna talk to people and listen to the virtual reality machine you can do that and go into the other bedroom and f**k and drink and… but actually I think virtual reality machines will get you high. Technology will be that good. And then there’ll be like virtual reality junkies lying there dead on their couch from OD’ing."
All the stuff „never possible“ before you mentioned is possible for years, scince 5 years on a stand alone device (oculus quest 1).
