I have a 2 burner spirit and a 3 burner spirit 2. Both need constant cleaning or the grease fires are crazy. We grill almost daily and find weekly cleanings are a must. These will be my last webers.

Yes, you have to make sure that there is a lot of distance between the burners and the bottom grease pan.
