Luckily we had great generals that had a plan for this region of the world that knew how to win and didn't care about being woke. And none of us knew what the hell a stress card was. Many of us were career service members and this was but one encounter. She was probably too busy protesting or being offended by historical statues. bearing down across the Desert at 0 dark thirty, from that day on it was go time, no sleep no stopping, push until it was over. I remember not seeing my hand in front of my face in the oil fields at 1300 it was so dark. We never stopped until we hit the Kuwait Airport in Kuwait City. 5 days of Move shoot communicate and no sleep, 120 hours of no sleep. Of all the crap we saw and did, I remember how awful it was to not sleep for 5 days. We landed at Jubail 3 days after the president got the call for help from Kuwait, after 2 weeks in country we moved ahead and stayed in the field for 10 months.
