The colors came out so beautiful!! I’ve always wanted to make resin necklaces and you made it look so easy!! 💗 I’m going to have to order some supplies off amazon!!
Hah! You make it look easy - I think you'd even said "It's pretty simple." I can't help but laugh... I'm learning the ways of resin, and I can't seem to make it anything but ultra complicated. Can stop trying, though 😄😄, as you commented earlier, it surely *is addictive. Yours came out lovely here: well done!
Have you found any resin alternatives? I have my mind made up that I want to make these. I have everything I need and have had it for about 2 weeks now, but I've become too paranoid to work with resin after further research was conveyed and I have decided that I won't be using it. Love these keychains!
You can buy them already done on Temu, I havnt done Resin in a long time now to be honest , you can wear a mask to protect you and have air with windows open etc
Hi there, I am so glad I have found this video... This is exactly what I wanted to do so thank you for helping me ❤️ Also, Just wondering where you got your little draft drill?? Thanks so much again!! I can’t wait to start creating xxx
I've been thinking about starting my own small business at home making Resin jewelry. But it's my first time making them, and I wasn't quite sure what supplies would I need, and I see for the mold they have the reverse letter or regular letter. Would either of them work.?? Do you know what Epoxy is best.??
I prefer the reverse letter as the resin at the bottom is the smoothest and shiniest so that would be the top of the letter . I get my resin from eBay now , it’s called Resin colour , Good luck with your business x
Thanks , I’ve discovered with resin , you need to have a lot of time and patience and need to just let it do it’s thing , I think I’m getting better with the bubbles - I’ve got a new video coming out soon showing my latest creations x
I've never had this happen, are you making the hole in the middle and not too close to the edge? someone else has commented to me that using the hooks inside resin will eventually break them but so far my letters have been ok? hopefully someone else may be able to answer the question
I mix it in the glitter before I pour for some projects , for the letters I tried both putting glitter first and also mixing and found the glitter still sinks , maybe if the resin has set a bit more it will stay where you leave it
I try and buff them gently to not remove the shine - if I do on some other items I make then you either have the sand and polish ( but I can’t get the same effect) or apply another layer of resin like a topcoat to make it shiny
Are the edges of the letters sharp? I haven't gotten my letter molds yet but my other molds get sharp edges and I'm not sure how to sand them down without ruining the resin
Not all of them depends on the letter I find , you can always use a smooth buffer and ever so slightly buff it but it’s nice to have such a crisp edge x
When the resin cures it pulls a bit together (in lack of a better word - English isn’t my first language) When the resin have been curing for about 12 hours you can ad a tiny layer on top till it domes. The let cure for 24 hours before demolding it. Takes a bit longer yes - but you don’t have to sand, buff and polish edges 😊 if you demold and then find out it have the edges, you can drip resin with a popsicle stick and make it dome, cure as usual and voila 😊
If the glitter is heavy it will sink if the resin hasn’t thickened up a bit , I’ve done both ways depending how many colours and how much I’m doing , I tend to like to mix the glitter now in the resin , I use silicone cups to mix them in or silicone cup cake moulds
Hey so I have a question, I’m ordering off eBay, but it’s asking me if I want to buy a reverse letter mold or a forward letter mold, which do you recommend?
That’s never happened to mine , maybe the hole is too big that your making - use a smaller drill piece - or you could even secure it in with UV resin - I’ve seen that being done before
If they are still like that after 48 hours then it could mean your resin hasn’t been mixed correctly - either ratio wasn’t accurate or you didn’t mix enough x
@@TinasBeautyTales I mixed slowly to not have bubbles and the resin and hardener came with measuring cups and I used them for measuring and mixing. Most people say 24 hours to dry and my sister said hers took 24 as well
If you know you mixed the correct ratio , do you know if you mixed it for long enough , minimum 3 minutes but depends on the resin you are using and what the instructions say. 24 hrs is standard for curing but some things can take longer depending on thickness poured and temperature but normally if after 48 hrs it’s still bendy then something is wrong x
They are the air bubbles , try pouring slower , I don’t get this with glitter but I do when I have tried using flowers , you can try and fill and do a coat on top after they have cured
I think I used 30ml of each , using the measuring cups , if your resin is 1:1 ratio then you use equal amounts and use how much you need . I’m still working out how to perfect mixing the perfect amount . X
I always bought this at stores and never wondered how they were made! The demoulding part is so satisfying! Glitter letter !!
They are so beautiful
Well I just got this same kit so I’m going to rewatch it again while I start on making some myself for the first time too
Have fun , you will soon become addicted to this craft like I have x
And the colours came out beautiful
I found the demoulding part soooooo satisfying. They turned out so beautiful
WOW! Thet are beautiful! My initial is G and I LOVE how that G turned out! Such fun!
You are very talented 👏 ❤
If you take a lighter to the resin after you pour it, that will get rid of any air bubbles.
Can I use a blow dryer instead?
@@thaaraa7395 yes I use a blowdryer for my resin coasters and keychains so it should work for you
How do I keep the glitter from falling to the bottom?
@@ashleygarcia5899 let your resin sit for about 20 minutes to get a little thick that's what worked for me
I like them beautiful colors.Lisa
Wow, I haven't heard of making anything with resin before. I want one. This is a good video. The colors are so pretty. Thanks for sharing. 💕😊
Oooh so that's how they make the letter chains??? 😳 it looks really fun to do and the letters are pretty.

Very nice. I like using dried flowers in my keychains. They look so elegant. Good luck.
I love the look of flowers , I just still find them tricky with getting bubbles trapped underneath! x
I'm looking into doing this,I miss doing resin!I'm thinking of opening up shop!!
Great job for your first time! These really came out sooo cute!! 🥰🥰

Amazing , Where do you let it sit , in the cold or hot temperature?
Just on the kitchen table at room temperature
omg thank you so much this helped so much
Are these letters sticky after they dry or is there something you coat them with? Thanks you for your video

She said she had some in her salon so from there
you can use a heat gun to get rid of the bubbles

So lovely! Hi how many letters would you say you can make with the entire bottles (600g)? Thanks
Oh I’m not sure !
When you stir the mixture too fast it creates the bubbles
I think that’s the kind of resin I ordered. How did it work

Shopify
I'm on the same boat girl!!
You should try Etsy 😊
Having long barrle lighter to pop the bubbles is good. You can do that to the resin in the tall cup and wave it over the resin when in the mould x
you had bubbles because you need to mix slowly! just a tip xx

Make sure you fill your tray otherwise you will have a thin letter
So pretty 😍🥰
do you recommend mixing the glitter in the resin before pouring or after pouring

Hey I just did some and it’s been 5 hours and usually the resin should be hardening already but it hardly has, should i be worried?
If it hasn’t hardened at least by 12 hours then I would say maybe it hasn’t been mixed right ??
What happens if you need to file the sharp edges how do you get the shine back
I try and buff them gently to not remove the shine - if I do on some other items I make then you either have the sand and polish ( but I can’t get the same effect) or apply another layer of resin like a topcoat to make it shiny
How much A and B resin do I need?
Does the keychain break if we use hand drill ??

Preeettyy.
Did you put the glitter in first?
Do you have any problems with them cracking after you put the screw hook thing in them? Mine keep cracking...HELP!
Is the keychain like glasses
So after your done with the filling of epoxy resin, then you let it dry there or put it in the fridge? Thanks 🙂
Just leave it to set at room temperature for 24 hours , sometimes even after then pieces can be slightly bendy but will totally harden by 48 hours
A is resin B is hardener so when you mix both it harders after a while from the reaction of both liquids
Have you done a resin video with flowers yet? Xx
Hi , no I haven’t yet
Hi! I like your letters, I am a newbie, what are the names of the glitters pls.thanks Lisa 😊
I use a glitter set from BnM , also get some really pretty ones on Ali express x
Hey. I can’t find the description box 😩 xxx
Sorry found it haha. Thank you xxxx
Hiii👋👋👋im new to your channel, just subbed!!
Thanks x
Hi I have done this I never put loads of glitter in but still squishy should it be solid
Yes resin cures rock hard , if it’s squishy it hasn’t cured - either needs longer or the mix wasnt right
@Tinas Beautiful Creations thank you for you help
How comes ppl don’t mix the glitter with the resin and put it at the bottom first before adding it ? Does it turn out different if you do?
If the glitter is heavy it will sink if the resin hasn’t thickened up a bit , I’ve done both ways depending how many colours and how much I’m doing , I tend to like to mix the glitter now in the resin , I use silicone cups to mix them in or silicone cup cake moulds
So u just poured the glitter into letter bfore adding the a n b? Or inside the a n b mix?
In these ones the resin was all mixed then you add the glitter x
Thank you
Did you just let the mold sit out and how long did you let it sit for?
Resin can take 24-48hrs to cure
Igual amount of A and B is a full mini cup?
Can you tell me where you got everything from please
Hi , from Amazon , links are in the description
@@TinasBeautyTales I can't find the link for the glitter? X
Glitter was what I had already in my nail stash !
How many letters do you think that resin you bought would do?
Each letter is approx 6ml so depending on how much resin you have you could work it out like that x
Do you put the Glitter first or the resin Liquid
Most the time now I mix my glitter in with the resin
Hey so I have a question, I’m ordering off eBay, but it’s asking me if I want to buy a reverse letter mold or a forward letter mold, which do you recommend?
Reverse.
I have the reverse one !
Tinas Beauty Tales thank you!
Where can I buy everything I need for this
All my links are in the description box below the video
Amazon
I wanna join the letters to make words how can I
you mix the a & b together in equal ratios right ?
With mine I do yes but you need to double check the instructions of your resin as they can have different mix ratios
I attached my key ring the same way but mines came out on it’s on how can i keep this from happening?
That’s never happened to mine , maybe the hole is too big that your making - use a smaller drill piece - or you could even secure it in with UV resin - I’ve seen that being done before
How much resin and how much hardener do I put into separate cups
Every resin is different so depends which you are using , you need to check your mix ratio
Is anyone els having trouble when adding the eye hook to the resin? Mine is splitting. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to use a drill?
It’s better if you don’t use eye pins because they break your work
@@Luwitka what should u use then?
How do you make the glitter not go to just The front side?
either do the resin in layers. glitter does tend to sink, so another way is add the glitter or glitter mix when the resin is slightly thicker?
Where do you buy your glitter from
It’s all the glitter I have in my salon to do nails , I have a mixture from all sorts of places x
Does anyone know the font used in this template? I would like to cut on a cutting machine
This is a mold but whether anyone knows a font that matches ?
My mom did letter but they’re still sticky did she do something wrong ?
Could be either the ratio of the mix is wrong or didn’t stir it enough
Mine came out bendable. Doesnt break or anything, just really bendable. Is that how it’s suppose to be?
If they are still like that after 48 hours then it could mean your resin hasn’t been mixed correctly - either ratio wasn’t accurate or you didn’t mix enough x
@@TinasBeautyTales I mixed slowly to not have bubbles and the resin and hardener came with measuring cups and I used them for measuring and mixing. Most people say 24 hours to dry and my sister said hers took 24 as well

My letters keep coming out backwards! Can you help??
There are “backwards” alphabet molds and regular ones. Both used for different styles :) hope this helps!
How much resin and hardener needs to be mixed together?
Depends on the resin you use , mine is equal parts of A and B, how much you use depends how many letters you want to make ,
Does it matter if my alphabet mold is backwards or not ?
With my mould it’s backwards when you pour the resin in x
Where did you buy the drill? How much?
I just got it from amazon, the link is in the description x
Resin and wat did you mixed together
Just part a and part b of resin
Where did you find the alphabet tray ?
From amazon - link is in the description
How much resin in each letter?
For one letter how much A and B you are using?
Each letter can take approx 6-7ml , the ratio of the resin depends what you use
For some reason when I finish and my resin has hardened. My letters has little holes in them all over
They are the air bubbles , try pouring slower , I don’t get this with glitter but I do when I have tried using flowers , you can try and fill and do a coat on top after they have cured
@@TinasBeautyTales thank you 😊
How much of part a and b did you use
I think I used 30ml of each , using the measuring cups , if your resin is 1:1 ratio then you use equal amounts and use how much you need . I’m still working out how to perfect mixing the perfect amount . X
How long do we wait
Do you mean for curing - most resins take 24hrs to be cured
Where do you let it sit for 24 hours?
Just on the kitchen table at room temperature
Where is your glitter from???
They are nail glitters that I just had in my collection but I’ve also recently brought some craft glitters from BnM that work really well
What does 1:1 ratio mean?
it means equal amount of the Part A and Part B , so for example mix 50ml of part A and 50ml of part B
