- This is my 2022 Western star 49X this truck replaced a Peterbilt that I had I’m slowly switching over to a Western star Peterbilt fleet the truck isn’t teal green with silver fenders in an arm bed

JST has some of the best looking trucks in the area. I drive for a local rock quarry and see his trucks all over. Kudos on the new trucks man 🤙
@2:54 one slight correction: with a dump truck, especially with someone besides the owner driving, it’s not “if it gets stuck” but “when it gets stuck” LOL. Like the look of the new rigs though, always cool to see someone in the trucking business who actually likes it!
Single frame is definitely the better way to go as when I was a coal hauler in the winter time all of the salt buildup between the frames after years was a disaster withe rust.
I have been watching equipment walkarounds on RUclips literally since 2006, this is the best one I have ever seen

Thats the factory GPS mount. Its called a ram mount. You can also option a 12 volt outlet right behind it so your GPS cord isn’t dangling over your switches.
They gave a bunch of options for the 49X

Each vehicle has a registration that is given its gross vehicle weight . Each state also has this most common is 73,280 pounds which is around 36 ton give it take . 😊

I know that I’ve heard or there’s rumbling of a new model coming to the Peterbilt line. It’s like what Kenworth did with the W990. Supposed to be on the same cab platform as the 567/579 with the long hood like the 389. My guess is that it’ll be called the 589 or 599. I had a Peterbilt salesman who wanted me to call him directly cause he didn’t want to answer me through RUclips about this rumor.
