LOVE Cream of Wheat!! Most Caribbean people make it a little thicker but still slightly runny with a bit of nutmeg & cinnamon, and sometimes raisins as well.
Thanks Doug. This is just what I needed. I like mine a little thicker, then I add honey and some nuts or seeds for added texture. Such great comfort food and it’s easy on the budget.

Grits is so nasty.. Love that cream of wheat.. I, for about 40 years, Make rice & cream of wheat (Sweet Rice) I put milk in the pot half cup of butter and a 1/4 cup sugar when it boils I start with cream of wheat, make sure not to add to much, them when it starts to thicken add the rice stir for 60 seconds remove from heat cover with the lid or a heavy plate let it set for 10 minutes then stir and sorta fluff it put in bowls add more milk to you're preferred thickness add more sugar or whatever else you want, this is so good, it's like having desert for breakfast.. My children and grand children ate this almost every day when they were young, I still eat it at least twice a week.. Now if you want to make it a pudding, make sure it's soupy (not thick) while it's hot get a cup of milk add 2 whole eggs put the pot back on the heat and slowly pour in the egg/milk stir until it starts to thicken, remove from the heat and recover it wait 10 minutes for it to set.. then scoop and eat..

But I recently found two tiny boxes and I still love this stuff. No one else in my circle outside my Mom does. I recently bought a rice cooker and I wanted to see if I could put Farina in the cooker. 👀 guess I can!
I love it with the measurements on the box, thicker, plus, a pat of butter, a little stevia artificial sweetener and a lot of cinnamon...most times I'll add a tiny bit French vanilla sugar free coffee creamer to thin it out a little...I probably negate any of the healthful qualities of this, but I love it! I enjoy your videos!

Doug...I didn't know you had a Facebook group for this cooker....I have one but hardly ever use it cause I didn't know too much about what I could cook with it. I mainly got it to keep in our RV to use while on trips. I use my Cooks Essential air fryer all the time and I love our group on your channel. Thanks so much for all you do for us....Patty

I have thinking about getting one of those perfect cookers. This video might have sold me on it. I love Cream of Wheat and my hubby loves grits. I could fix both in it and even make some steel cut oatmeal in it. I have adapted to grits by putting sugar and a little butter in them and pretend it's Cream of Wheat. I works for me.
