Well, here it is, my longest project yet. It was enriching but challenging to put it all together; while I’m proud to truly put my skills to the test, I’m so ready to move on to my Halloween video XD. In the time it took me to get this out, I reached 100 subs, which is pretty cool. Whether you’ve been around since my first few videos or are came along recently, thanks so much for your support. I do have a video planned for the milestone, but it won’t be ready until the New Year comes. Until then, I’ll hopefully complete another handful of neat stuff before Christmas rolls around. I made a Twitter when I hit the milestone, so follow me over there for daily tweets!

"Steve is a bit of a dope. He's the last person that probably should be leading us through learning adventures with a magical blue dog."
Them's fighting words.
Too bad he's hot 🥰🥰🥰
The show is basically My religion from age one to age five, Steve raised me for the first few years of my life through all those clues as he did with everyone else from my generation. The message that he left us for the 25th anniversary was so poignant it was something that we all needed. Thank you Steve for giving us the clues of early life because little did we know it was something that would help us through the toughest times of modern Life. You did your part to help us be smart !
Blues Clues has become a part of my life for 20 years and I’ve loved every moment of it! 💙💙💙🐾🖍📒
Me too.I grew up in 1998 and I grew up on blue’s birthday Pc game
Tell me about it.
I just want to say thank you. Thank you for putting a genuinely great light on why and how preschool shows can be important to people even into adulthood. Why we still love and want these shows to be a part of our lives. I run a channel where I build wooden trains and make replicas of the notebooks from blues clues and it’s great to see someone actually explain why something like blues clues, or Thomas, or bob, or any show would be so important to people. Thank you so Much! Sorry for taking up your time!
I loved blue’s clues and it’s still my favorite preschool as an adult
I grew up on this show, and respect both everything in the show and the people that made it.
I think that's an aspect on me preserving my "Inner Child" if I recall correctly.
To this day I still see blue’s clues as an inspiration for now I got into animation
Whoa. This video was amazing!!! There's so much I want to say, but can't find the words. I absolute love the part where you went over the history of preschool shows. I didn't know a lot about that before and I think it's fascinating how much has changed over the decades and how much it has progressed since then. I also really love the part where the interviewees talked about what Blue's Clues meant to them and how it affected them. It's cool to hear other people's perspective on the show. Getting back into Blue's Clues as an adult has made me much more interested in the educational aspect of the show and more interested in child development in general so it was nice to stumble upon this video.
I don't know what I was expecting but I certainly wasn't expecting this to be THAT good. Thank you for this
pretty good video, gives some solid "defunctland" kind of entertainment history teaching. Not to knock ya back as a copycat, but it's up there with their level of enjoyable edu-tainment content.
Nah, you're good; that's what I was going for lol
Love this tv series if anything
(1997-2006)rest in peace to Blue’s clues
This is amazing. Seriously amazing. "You want perfection...Well here it is"
On February 2nd 1999, Blue’s Clues and Sesame Street joined Together on
The same Network When Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop(CTW) created Noggin!
I will always love Blue from Blue’s Clues to Blue’s Room.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
This is seriously well put together! Loved every second of it! Keep up the good work!
It’s interesting for a blue’s clues fan

Damn dude, color me impressed. You did your research and beyond! Great job! Look forward to future videos!
I love this show and it aged well and it’s why I got into animation

It’s interesting to know these some of the creators of blue’s clues were female .This was my childhood and it’s definitely aged
I love this video I finally found it after a whole year
Now that I've thought about, I have came to an additional conclusion to what I already said a few months ago. In the event that this country finds itself in turmoil, heartache, misery, or any other form of chaos (like we have for the last two years), Steve would be the perfect adult in the room. When the first inception of Blue's Clues was on from 1996 to 2004, here's what was going on: Bill Clinton got impeached for getting blown in the Oral Office, Columbine happened, fears of the Y2K bug were high, there was the confusion surround the 2000 Presidential Election between Bush and Gore, the Wars in Afghanistan and (though Steve was gone by this point) Iraq had begun, and not only was the show on when September 11th happened, but the show was filmed in NYC's Tribeca district (which is in lower Manhattan and just a few blocks away from the World Trade Center). Steve would be the perfect adult in the room to address the nation, not some of these politicians in DC. Steve would also be the perfect adult in the room considering the fact that most people born between 1991 and 2005 grew up with Steve as the adult in the room. I was one of the lucky ones born in April of 2000, so I only missed the first 3 and a half years.
Lastly, when I said that Steve and the show will never know how much of an impact he had on an entire generation of kids, myself included, I wasn't just talking about those who watched the show. Allow me to explain. I said that Sesame Street and Mister Rogers Neighborhood helped grow kids educational television in the 70s and 80s while Steve and Blue's Clues helped shape kids educational television in the 90s and 00s. If you look at other shows that came on after Blue's Clues, you will see that a lot of them had similar elements towards Blue's Clues. On Nick Jr. alone, there was Dora the Explorer, Team Umizoomi (which featured Joe in it), and Bubbles Guppies. Not only on Nick Jr., but also their competitors were inspired by them. On Playhouse Disney/Disney Jr., the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse had inspirations from Blue's Clues. On PBS Kids, there was a show called Super Why. Not only did Super Why have a ton of similarities to Blue's Clues, but one of the people who worked on Super Why also worked on Blue's Clues. In fact, going a step further, one of Super Why's production companies was called "Out of the Blue", an homage to the worker's former project. So even if you didn't watch Blue's Clues, you probably watched one of the other shows I mentioned. That's what I mean when I say that Steve influenced an entire generation of kids, regardless of if you watched Blue's Clues or not, and regardless of if you watched Nick Jr. or not.
It was my favorite show at a young age.
The reboot is fine despite some people complaining that it’s repeating stuff from the original tv series
That...was...splendid!
Indeed
The books in the Blue's Clues intro are The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Goodnight Moon, The Runaway Bunny, The Little House, Madeline, Corduroy, a yellow book that I recently learned was Curious George and an orange book, which I can assume was probably Green Eggs And Ham.
3:35 where did you find this footage?
Behind The Clues
The True Story Behind A 25 Year Dog
We will be in the same room as a family for the first time in the morning to go back to the house it is awesome

Your words are so fancy wow I can't even say half of those things
Blue clues Blue clues and you 💙 💙💙📒🖍
I think you should get into the professional documentary business
Nice!
Agreed
37:43 What award did Angela Santomero receive in which event for Blue's Clues?
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, I would rate the original Blue's Clues a 60.
On that same scale, I would rate Blue's Clues & You! a -45.
Girls be like: **uses emojis**
Teenage girls: **no use emojis**
Blue clues and you can see the full episode
Surprised how long this video is too long and I’m surprised you never reviewed the reboot cause this video hasn’t aged well
It was a conscious decision for me not to delve into it; by the time I finished scripting, the show had just come out and I wasn't going to talk about it deeply when there's not enough to say. The point of this video was to highlight how well the original product educated the audience, and in that regard, I'd say it's of an appropriate length. Either way, saying it's too long or too short and nothing isn't exactly constructive criticism. The length doesn't matter so as the content justifies it.
The Wacky Delhi oh okay I was a Hugh blue’s clues fan and I felt like it’s okay reboot even though it’s a repeat of it self
Blue’s clues (1996-2006)
96!
