I use a variety of different software including photoshop, illustrator, HTML5, Final Cut, GarageBand and a few other products. Each video takes me a long time to create. My rule of thumb is each minute of video takes about 12 hours to create, so a 7 minute video takes me about 84 hours of development time. Besides the technology I use, I have done a tremendous amount of research on how students learn via animations and the impact of color and narration.
Been searching 2 days for a way to understand this. Of all the tutorials I've read and watched, this one was the one where it clicked. Thanks! Liked and subbed!
The pace and tone is always hard for me. I have a large range of subscribers and... I often imagine the student trying to grasp this concept after a night of drinking and a test in a few hours. So I talk slow, clear and don't make any sudden moves :) I do appreciate the feedback and it is something I struggle with. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description).
Thank you so much for what you do. Your helpful tutorials have greatly impacted my life as well as many others. I used to struggle with the simplest of concepts. But not because i couldn't understand the theorems, equations, etc, but because my teacher was not very specific or descriptive, and i was afraid to ask questions. To watch these videos in the comfort of my own home and receive such valuable teachings, is beyond amazing. Thank you.
Thank you so much for making this video! I had a class trip today , and we left when I had math. So I missed that day's lesson. This helped me understand my homework and now I can do it. Thank you so much, sir!
Alexis Rivas Good luck on your homework and happy to hear this video helped you out. Hopefully you will like, share, subscribe, If you get a chance could you please like our FB page. www.FaceBook.Com/PartyMoreStudyLess It will help others find the videos.

Yes, the pace is always a struggle for me. In my classes when I go to fast students just stare at me like they have drank an iced smoothie too fast and have a brain freeze. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description). This will help others find the educational videos.
I watched a lot of videos and tutorial about this topic. It took me hours and finally found this. ohhh thank you so much! the presentation and the technique made it easier to understand. Finally!!!!!
3987mex Thanks for subscribing. Let me know if there are statistics subjects where you could use additional help. This will help me understand what new videos I should be creating.
It is probably best that you post your question as a FaceBook message on the MyBookSucks page.. This way you can add attachments and you are not limited on how long your question can be. You can see the link to FaceBook in the video description of this video (and while you are there like the MyBookSucks page.
Thank you so much for making this video, it helped me solve a really tough coding problem even without much of a math background! Really appreciate your work :)
This is a nice video. What about when you can use the same variable multiple times in a combination? What is the formula to calculate the permutations then? Say you have 10 numbers and you have to pick 5, but all 5 could be repeated numbers. (e.x 17098, 55555) NVM, I think it's 10^5.
Okan Aybar I use a variety of tools from Photoshop, Flash, Final Cut, Illustrator, and string it all together. Each minute of video takes me about 8 hours to complete.
+statisticsfun your efforts are indeed valuable....because of your hard work of using all these different softwares it makes visual understanding very interesting :) ...!!!
Sorry, I'm not a math guy... Been out of school for almost 30 years. I still don't really understand the difference between permutations and combinations. Can you help with that? Or direct me to resource which explains these things?
i need help how to calculate big number like % and upon pls help me and i found your video is the best video its reall help me for understanding basic concepts thanks and pls help me out
In the pic-3 Tx Lotto there are 90 groups of 3 digit numbers, each with 2 identical numbers in each group , I know the permutations for this is 270, but I can't seem to get that number using any formula or methed. Please help, thanks.
Ok im sure I am messing something up,but I take N!/n!(N-1)! And then I work it out by hand I get two differen numbers. I am trying to find the number of combinations for 10 numbers (0-9) in pairs of two. Using the formula I get 45, but writing out the numbers in pairs of twos with none repeated I get 55? Why?
Awesome! This will help me figure out how many combinations of Villagers you can have in Animal Crossing NH. And, the chance of two people sharing the same combo. Edit: Back! Now here’s how many Villager Combos you have in Animal Crossing NH: 2,390,657,087,557,000,000 HAHAHA!!! Now, that’s a doozy. Welp, it’s safe to say most people will have some pretty unique islands. Even if some choose to curate their favorites. XD

I like your pacing; Especially, I like your attention to the logical order of the steps and how you draw attention analogies between steps elsewhere.

That was so clear 👍
very helpful.. thanks a lot..
How about permutations taken from 1 to N.
Like Sum of N! / (N - n)!, where n from 1 to N ?
You saved me thank you!
