    I use a variety of different software including photoshop, illustrator, HTML5, Final Cut, GarageBand and a few other products. Each video takes me a long time to create. My rule of thumb is each minute of video takes about 12 hours to create, so a 7 minute video takes me about 84 hours of development time. Besides the technology I use, I have done a tremendous amount of research on how students learn via animations and the impact of color and narration.

    Been searching 2 days for a way to understand this. Of all the tutorials I've read and watched, this one was the one where it clicked.
    Thanks!
    Liked and subbed!

    I like your pacing; Especially, I like your attention to the logical order of the steps and how you draw attention analogies between steps elsewhere.

  • @statisticsfun
    @statisticsfun  11 лет назад +5

    The pace and tone is always hard for me. I have a large range of subscribers and... I often imagine the student trying to grasp this concept after a night of drinking and a test in a few hours. So I talk slow, clear and don't make any sudden moves :)
    I do appreciate the feedback and it is something I struggle with. Make sure you like MyBookSucks on FaceBook (see link in video description).

    Thank you so much for what you do. Your helpful tutorials have greatly impacted my life as well as many others. I used to struggle with the simplest of concepts. But not because i couldn't understand the theorems, equations, etc, but because my teacher was not very specific or descriptive, and i was afraid to ask questions. To watch these videos in the comfort of my own home and receive such valuable teachings, is beyond amazing. Thank you.

    It is probably best that you post your question as a FaceBook message on the MyBookSucks page.. This way you can add attachments and you are not limited on how long your question can be. You can see the link to FaceBook in the video description of this video (and while you are there like the MyBookSucks page.

    This is a nice video. What about when you can use the same variable multiple times in a combination? What is the formula to calculate the permutations then? Say you have 10 numbers and you have to pick 5, but all 5 could be repeated numbers. (e.x 17098, 55555) NVM, I think it's 10^5.

    Ok im sure I am messing something up,but I take N!/n!(N-1)! And then I work it out by hand I get two differen numbers. I am trying to find the number of combinations for 10 numbers (0-9) in pairs of two. Using the formula I get 45, but writing out the numbers in pairs of twos with none repeated I get 55? Why?

    Edit: Back! Now here’s how many Villager Combos you have in Animal Crossing NH:
    2,390,657,087,557,000,000
    HAHAHA!!! Now, that’s a doozy.
