      Before the Mexican government surrendered to the cartels, Tijuana was a great place to visit. However, those days are long gone. As long as it is unsafe to visit, people should participate in an economic boycott of Tijuana. If people stop visiting Tijuana, as well as Mexico in general, the Mexican government will be forced to act.

    Tijuana is absolutely dangerous! On August 3, 2023, while visiting family in Tijuana, Dario Baeza, a 27-year old US Citizen from the San Diego area, was tragically murdered when he was caught in the crossfire of cartel members and shot several times. Before the Mexican government surrendered to the cartels, Tijuana was a great place to visit. However, those days are long gone. As long as it is unsafe to visit, people should participate in an economic boycott of Tijuana. Health tourism is huge in TJ, as it's so easy to reach from San Diego. Almost every corner has a dentist, or a laser eye clinic or a plastic surgery clinic. For Americans facing huge dental bills, a trip to TJ is the perfect solution. And on the back of that, the health tourists have also boosted local businesses, especially hotels, AirBnBs, taxi services, restaurants etc.
    I love my twice a year trip to TJ to the dentist. I've made friends there who i visit when I can, and I have never seen the dark side shown in this video.

Actually, he lived there long before it existed but it was built all around him eventually swallowing up his land. So, to get to his mansion you had to go through the community. The most incredible thing about this, is that the “poor” people in Tijuana or in Mexico actually own their modest homes, they’re not worried about one day the bank or the tenant will kick them out, and while they can’t afford a car or an iPhone, they have delicious food and roof over their heads, the poor in Mexico are not like the poor in Africa.

    • @ricardodumas9161
      @ricardodumas9161 7 месяцев назад

      Not really, most don't own anything since they are squatters. They just occupy other people's land (with the pretext of "necessity") and refuse to get out until the government regulates and gives them the land or relocates them somewhere else (which can take years) and in the meantime they don't pay electricity/water services and some just outright steal it.
      Many poor people have made this their way of living, because once the government gives them a plot of land they just sell that land to other people who are just moving from the south of the country and move on to the next land invasion.
      It's been happening his way for decades and a lot of neighborhoods in the outskirts of the city were founded this way. Currently this is a big issue in the east of TJ.

      Not exactly sure what I was aiming for, but Oddly out of 200 videos and three years, this has been my best performing upload. This is also one of my first videos n as long as my content is improving i’ll call it a win. I’m not sure what in a NAFTA is but I always like seeing comments like this, but keep in mind learning how to use adobe premiere Pro on your own, and trying to produce a documentary style video doesn’t exactly come naturally. It may not seem like it judging by the quality but there’s quite a bit that goes into even a super basic edit. Trying to speak, smooth, annunciate, script it with the right words and punctuation and then try to make it sound professional with some sort of beginning, middle, end and conclusion. Making sure the audio is decent and learning how to operate 100 or so different settings and functions is a different skill. And it’s hard to say, which one is more dangerous with so many variables but yeah you gotta valid point. I thought of deleting the video but as long as the video is public, I’m still getting paid.
      Anyways i’m always open to Feedback so if you happen to see any of my new Vietnam videos I would absolutely appreciate any feedback you have for me. On the other end, I’m always waiting to hear the viewers opinion and when people just say it how it is, it makes things easier.

      @@Travel_fulltime Tijuana and Juarez have the unique challenge of being next to the border. What this means is that anyone who intends to cross into the USA or is deported from there ends up in these cities. Now, what happens when hundreds of thousands of people are transient and can't afford housing? They build shacks and live there. Before it was only the poorest of Mexicans, but now there are also poor Central Americans, Haitians, and even small numbers of Africans and other Latin Americans (Venezuelans for example).
      That said, the majority (50% or more) is not living in slums. If I'm not mistaken, around 30% of Tijuana residents live in slums, which is higher than the average for a Mexican city (12-15% is typical). Most people in Tijuana do have running water, electricity and actual floors (not dirt lol). These stats are tracked by the United Nations, and the government of Baja California and Mexico.

Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, & with His STRIPES we are HEALED."
    God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin.Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, & the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, & believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, & abominable, & murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus & put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
