Gary Mcguckin Imagine waiting 20 years for a yes or a no from the US hell no even if I had to break laws and anger a white racist mob I’ll keep going “Never let a racist mans words hurt you, let them fill you with motivation and power”
Actually they dont return to their towns cus they become addicts and they are ashamed of themselves, their families believe they are still in USA ...at least they have respect for their families and font want to be a burden to them....whichever it is the reason its a very sad human tragedy
10:15 I just broke down when he started crying and explaining how he had a house before and lost it all. You have to be a really cold person to not feel that sadness and that empathy for someone like him
He obtained those things without the right to do so. He considered himself more important than the ones who do follow the law and jump through rings of fire to get legal residency. The border exists, migration law exists.
The saddest part about the entire boarder issue is there's SO many good people who just want to work and provide for their families like Avimael. They can and want to be contributing citizens and live a normal working class life. I feel for him as I work with many Mexican men who sacrificed everything to be in the USA working, away from their families, and sending money back home to ensure they're taken care of. Any man that makes THAT sacrifice is beyond respectable and deserves the chance to do so.
I often consider the horrible situations of places in Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, MX, and the mudshit in in Europe, Africa, Chicago, LA Philly Miami Boca MArthas Vineyard and such... and i really wonder if I would stay and fight to make it better at home or run away to try to make a life where i dont belong like LIBERIA where they wouldnt allow me to legally own a house or get a job in Holland where i couldnt legally work or rent a place to live for more than 90 days or whatever. It is nice to think people are trying to keep their omes nice by keeping people like me from just moving there and changing the demographic and taking up what little space they have for their own// There are 100 angles to consider before just crying equality and opening up someine elsesback yard to roaving campers like me...
@@bumpsangrimez nobody is crying “equality”, it’s human nature. People move, we migrate. How do you think people go to America in the first place? They migrated across the Bering strait.
@Vogel Vogeltje shut tf up I'm a native American of the northern Americans and I've worked with mexians and now mexians who have abused the us and its great laws making so kuch money under the table while we pay taxes look at the border now
I am mad at everyone in a way. Meaning both Mexico and US. A lot of what has happened stems further back than just 30 years. I think why everyone is mad is that all people can think of is this now and it’s people as trying to take advantage as one thing when it’s not in fact true. I guess the lack of humanity is what is angering. I’m not picking sides, just wanted to point that out
Because central banks control almost the entire country and the US is put as a super power and if they see any country rising into power they feel threatened. All politics run with each other they don’t care about their people lol wars are for profit, veterans come back from war and the government can’t even take care of them in America. Open your eyes man. The US government supplies the drug cartels where else do they get all these guns from. Cartels feed the Mexicans government money and the US profits from it. Something not many people will understand
I remember when my mom told us of her dad being deported. She said every time he came home after being deported he looked more and more defeated. He was ashamed of failing to try to find a better life for his family. It’s a hard life. It’s easy to pass judgement on these people but not to walk in their shoes. It’s hard to live in a country that turns its back on its people.
Dang man, when that guy said he doesnt want to return back to where hes from, because he doesnt want to return as a defeated person. I felt that. He doesnt want to show his face until he makes it, i hope he made it. Anyone who has ever risked it all on a dream can relate to this man.
I remember when my mom was deported after living in the US for over 30 years. She hadn’t been back in Mexico since she was a little girl. She had nowhere to go, and it crushed us. I can’t imagine the anguish it causes someone to be homeless in a city they’re not familiar with.
Shits crazy, Im a first generation Mexican American and this just goes to show how good the people of america have it; i am beyond grateful to live in this country
When that man cried, I cried with him. I wish I could have hugged him through the screen and pulled him out into happiness and safety. My thoughts, prayers and actions are with all the people in the world who have and will suffer such fates.
Veronica Moody don’t be sad, he had a family so he’s most likely here, woman are allowed in if they have kids, so when his wife came which has %100 happened already they have saved up, paid for him to come and took him in. he’s probably workin in his big body shop as we speak!
You can see the pain and sadness clearly and when the guy made that doorbell just by the voice you know he’s suffering and try’s to make the best of it I really hope they get a normal life
Nah alot of people talk fast or like that lol... I know cuz I've been in that situation lived in Mexico very poor for like 6 years my dad deported twice but I guess I've forgotten everything and now we alr living better
6:16 his actual quote was so much more powerful than what the translators used, I know they didn’t use it for fear of losing something in translation but what he said was close to: “I’ll keep giving them war until my horse is tired of kicking”
This breaks my heart on so many levels. The guy who broke down and cried; I just couldn't take it. Despite the situation; they are human beings. Prayers and Love to each and every one of them.
Gracias for having empathy! You made me cry. Cocho is a word commonly used in the region of Tierra Caliente in the state of Guerrero. Translate to the slang word of pussy. Dont ask me why we say it all the time. We just do.
Watching cocho recount his past was super sad.. all the normal things in life he wishes he had. Never take anything for granted, prayers up for every single one of those people, because; THEY. ARE. HUMAN. TOO.
@@youtubeuser1432 yes but none of this would have happened if the government didn't include them in the first place, jamma theman is being obvious he is a human and his story is sad. Saying a human is illegal is dehumanizing, anyone who has an opinion about deportation should be rioting against the shithole that is Mexico so that maybe people from the US would want to immigrate there because it was equal to the US or at least not as bad as it is now.
Yeah I pray for him. I pray he goes through the process of becoming a legal citizen so he doesn't have to be crying on camera for sympathy. And saying " I'm gonna save money to come back, but they charge 3,500-5,000" DUDE! get a damned green card like a respectable person would and be with your family.
Tim Lawson wtf are you talking about lol are you praying for him or judging him keep your snobby ass prayer lol you don’t his struggle mr Lawson prolly born into a great family probably won’t feel the same if it happens to your family
It's a terrible situation, no doubt about that but... why do they always abandon their family? Like... you haven't seen your children in years YEARS, why? They're basically wasting their time for something that will never happen. I'm Mexican and I know for a fact that if you try hard enough you will be able to find a decent job and have enough money to get by. In my opinion that's a better way of living than being homeless and away from your family.
This video hit me very hard when the guy in the thumb nail actually started talking about his family and his old house and then when he said eat like regular people I lost it it was very sad
Robert Brown yes but telling people to go back to their land as if this land belongs to yall in the first plis so stupid as well 💀💀 its like me stealing a phone and telling the owner to go buy a new one since their phone belongs to me now
6:15 what he said had so much more feeling than what they translated, his exact words were “Until my horse is beat I won’t stop giving them hell”... being a child of two immigrants and watching my dad wake up before sunrise every day and come home after sunset after busting his back gardening all day, watching my mother spend 4 days out of the week cleaning other people’s homes... to give me and my older siblings a better life... this video really got to me bro... my parents continue to bust their backs everyday and it’s thanks to that my older brother graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and is now an engineer with SoCal gas and my older sister graduated from CSUN and now works for city hall... and they did that while also being illegal immigrants...
This was so heart felt. That poor man owned his own business, had a home and family and it was taken away. To deport the good who work and have family here is crazy.
It's incredible how much they appreciate what we would consider to be so little. That poor guy was was so proud to have a washer and a guest room...shows how spoiled we really are.
I’ll admit I’m quite spoiled even through I’m considered lower class in America. I have to share rent with my mom and my brother but it’s still better than sleeping on the streets. I definitely see the glass less than half full but that doesn’t mean I can’t be ambitious. I’m grateful for what I do have all while working towards better.
I am a American citizen. My husband was born in the USA side,1954 border of Mexico. His mother Mexican was dating a married American man so she kept everything quiet, even his birth. so when my husband couldn't prove where he was born to get a passport, he was deported year 2000, we got married in the USA and in Mexico and now married together more than 23 years together. We left our whole life behind in the USA. We made it here in Mexico until We got older, it is hard to find work when you are older then 50, if you do find work you are lucky and Blessed, the pay is really bad but work is better than no work. Now we find ourselves without a lot of things, washer, stove, car, just barely eating.we want to go back to the states. No Mexican government help here. There is more opportunity in the USA then Mexico
PewPew it sucks watching them work all day and have little time to rest before they leave again. I never had to the chance to sit and get to know my own mom

My parents are Mexican immigrants and they worked there asses off to provide me a better life than what they had. For the people who are saying "why don't they just take the citizenship test" It's a really long process for an immigrant to become an American citizen. Both of my parents came here when they were in their 20s and finally became citizens in their 40s. It's a hard process to go through. The amount of ignorance in this comment section pisses me off so much to.
+Fernando Herrera work hard, do it legal or stay the fuck out. Its so simple. Your parents worked hard now why should some fence jumper get to cut in front of them and overload our social service(welfare) system.
PROUD INFADEL My parents were one of those "jumpers". Also, there's not a care package waiting for them on the other side of the border. They start from the bottom and work their way up. They especially work hard if they have kids. They don't overload social service or welfare because that's not true at all. They could get social service benefits once they are legal residents or citizens.
+Fernando Herrera While it is true that non-citizens cannot get public benefits themselves, they can get public benefits for their US-born children such as food stamps, WIC, Medicaid, and in some cases even low-income housing.
Fernando Herrera illegal aliens have cost our country almost a TRILLION dollars. They ARE overloading our system and CAN receive benefits as the previous poster pointed out.
That's the biggest fucking straw-man anyone's ever constructed. Since when did saying the truth, that these people who come across the border illegally are illegal immigrants, come with the implication they aren't human?
Greg Ramirez yes but America has a lot of unemployed people too so they have to take care of their own citizens first and sort everything out when one day America is doing better economically than they can try to help out other countries and let the people come
I have mad respect for the mexican people and it breaks my heart to see them suffering. I've met hundreds of mexicans throughout my life and absolutely ALL of them were nice, caring, happy, respectful and extremely hard working. Victor Duran why, i moved here from a different country. I am here legal have been a citizen since 1983. Why are they better then me if they don't need papers?
susan osborne They are not better, they are regular people like you and me; all they want is to be able to work and provide for their families. Not everyone has a chance to become legal, but everyone does have a choice to improve their lives. Some chose to come to USA illegally because the other choice is to live in proverty for the rest of their lives. Coming to the USA illegally is extremely dangerous, some people don't make it and die on the way. Don't judge them or think you are better than anyone else just because you had the opportunities they didn't.
Everyone has a chance to become legal, and unless you can prove to me otherwise I think it's full of shit. Coming to the USA can be as safe and you make it should you have a brain. Apparently most illegals don't, minus the ones that are here illegally cause of their parents that legally migrated.
James R I actually work for a private immigration office, so I know it can be extremely difficult; especially for Mexicans. First of all, you need a immediate relative (spouse, parent, sibling, child) to apply for you, if you happen to be over the age of 21, in most cases, the wait time to legally come to the USA is 20 Years (Look up Visa Bulletin on State dot gov website). Now, if your relative dies during that wait time, then you are practically left with nothing. There are no diversity visas available for Mexico, and some people are lucky to get a visitor visa, but they are not allowed to work. And some people do not even have a relative that can apply for them.
Watching this again 5 years later, tears are streaming down my face again. How sad to see human beings suffering in pursuit of a better life. I wish things were different and I wish it was easier for all to get citizenship in this country. No hard working decent person that contributes to society should have to suffer like this. I’ve met very few hispanic people who don’t work extremely hard for the things they have.
@Blacksun Sigrune88 its not so easy when their government is set up the way it is. They have already asserted their dominance and insighted fear into the people. How do you expect them to get enough firepower to protect against the multitudes of cartels that control nearly all of mexico?
And people that come to America illegally and work under the table and collect food stamps use out health care pay no bill drive cars with no insurance send their cash out of the country should be beaten like the dogs they are.

I remember me and my family drove from Canada through the US and ended our trip in Tijuana. Spent the day there back in 1992 or 93, was really cool. I was 7 so as a kid it was the best road trip of my life.
It's absolutely mind-boggling how people can watch this heartbreaking video and still have something negative to say about their situations. Before another ignorant (and very sheltered) person says "well, they shouldn't have illegally crossed" think about the grave circumstances they are put in to have to leave their own country. They are poor, they are starving, they are in danger, they have families, and/or they want to better their lives. Instead of pointing fingers and being assholes, see how you can help. Remember that it only takes a few bad things to happen for ANYONE to fall to their knees.
Sheynna Weber not to mention had the US not spent decades intervening, propagandizing, colonizing, militarizing, staging coups, and spreading the drug trade + war on drugs in Latin America, most of these countries would be far better off and their people wouldn’t HAVE to leave. You reap what you sew, and these destitute people are absolutely America’s responsibility now. If the US gov didn’t want to receive refugees they shouldn’t have created refugees around the world through their imperialism, but they won’t educate the people on any of that in schools
Don Harris as a matter of fact, half of my family DID move here from Central America and we’re doing just fine. By 2044 the majority of the US will be people of color. And it’s gonna be awesome to see sick people like you be outnumbered. Peace
That poor man had a family and a business and wasn't a "criminal" or a "rapist" and they took all that away from him and now he is literally living in a hole in the ground bc his government doesn't care about him, which is why he left his country in the first place. Says a lot about the US government and the Mexican government, neither of them see these people as human beings.

Im reading the comments and some of them are just so stupid. I don't think some of you understand how hard it is to earn citizenship from Mexico, i don't think you understand not being able to feed your kids in your own country... sometimes the only option for these people to to cross the border illegally. I myself cannot even contemplate the hardships these people face each day. Wanting a better life for you and your kids should not be illegal! You're sitting int the comfort of your home, with food at the table every night, going to a great school or college, nearly nothing to complain bout compared to these people. No Person Can be an "illegal"
Fuck off with your virtue signaling. Just because they have the privilege of being our neighbors doesn't mean that we should risk our national security and risk my family's life because they have a hard life. I am not responsible for their hardship. With your logic, we should then allow all the 7 billion people within our borders because the rest of the world has it a lot worse than Mexico. Why should Mexico be treated any different? I'm sorry, but they are not American tax payer's problem. They are Mexican government's problem. If they want to have a better life then they should start a war with their fucked up corrupt government for failing to keep their people safe.

Why is everyone getting mad at the US for deportations but no one is mad at Mexico for not helping its citizens
Because its easier to be a victim then it is to do the right thing

+Fernando Herrera While it is true that non-citizens cannot get public benefits themselves, they can get public benefits for their US-born children such as food stamps, WIC, Medicaid, and in some cases even low-income housing.

illegal aliens have cost our country almost a TRILLION dollars. They ARE overloading our system and CAN receive benefits as the previous poster pointed out.

That's the biggest fucking straw-man anyone's ever constructed. Since when did saying the truth, that these people who come across the border illegally are illegal immigrants, come with the implication they aren't human?
Greg Ramirez yes but America has a lot of unemployed people too so they have to take care of their own citizens first and sort everything out when one day America is doing better economically than they can try to help out other countries and let the people come
It still doesn't make it right to break the law and cross borders without allowance or documentation.

@Blacksun Sigrune88 shut up already
*Yeah right, hard working heroin addicts*
Have to follow the law of any nation. You cant just come in for free. Thats any country. Dont think its just the US. Its any country where you need Identification.
It breaks my heart to see human beings living like that :(

Just when you think you have problems.... Imagine yourself in any of these shoes..truly humbling and appreciative of what you have. Pray for these people and their family.
Wow, genuine empathy in the RUclips comments. This is very refreshing 🙂

Don Harris wow I thought I had read some truly stupid comments in my lifetime, but this one wins

@@queeffersthrlnd1620 wat that gotta do wit his comment ?
@@gerardosajidgamezsanchez6962 yes homeless people exist everywhere.
