Yes, albacore works too. Chunk light, albacore, either is fine. I ate this as a kid all the time and my mom always used whatever tuna we happened to have.

Give the tuna water to your cats or dogs
A tip on the eggs... Add eggs to water and when it starts to boil.. remove pot from stove and cover pot tightly for 12 minutes.. Makes the PERFECT BOILED EGG.. then put in cold water accordingly.. Great recipe!

Pop the eggs in with the boiling pasta! That's the most efficient way to do it. Let them boil for a while and take them out.
@grandmajane2593 No, it's not the most efficient way. As it leaves too much room for error. If you do it the way this lady commented, it's literally impossible to over boil the eggs.

So I made tuna salad last night and it was not impressive I used onion,mayo,relish,elbow noodles paprika and parsley today I decided to make it better so I went to the store and got celery and miracle whip to add a bit of sweetness. After watching your video I had to step my game up so I added some onion and garlic powder celery and a couple drops of mustard as per your tuna sandwich video oh and a little miracle whip didnt have any red peppers hope it turns out good next time I'll try to make it exactly like yours

Boil your eggs 3 minutes then turn off the heat and cover for 12 minutes. They will be hard boiled.
