Love the new animation style, very clear maps. The Osaka Loop Line, the second train I ever caught in Japan, back in 2014. Can't wait to go back, especially Tokyo - waiting for Chuo Sobu line soon 😁

Thanks, Rudy. Hopefully by the end of the year we might be able to travel again. My first line was the Takasaki line in 2012. Can't wait to go back and ride the Yamanote E235 and Marunouchi Line new 2000 series.

This is lovely. Much easier to comprehend with the line naming. Also the high contrast map layer helps too. Mad props on the animation. This is smoother and has more pop to it. great improvement.

Thank you Tanami Playman for the feedback. It's a strange feeling after I finished my 1st and 2nd maps for my previous videos I felt satisfied with the outcome. But now after finishing this one I want to go back and do them again in this style. Thanks for watching. 👍

Hi Mike, what a great job! May I know what software you have used for the animation and time scrolling?
I am planning to make a video also, it is related to the most difficult to build tunnel...
P.S. Sorry that I still couldn't find more information of Mr. Goto...

Hi Bobby Cheung. Sure it's a combination of Premiere Pro and After Effects with the use of the Pen tool.

What source do you use for the maps? I'm interested to make some animations myself, but idk where to find the maps.

Great work, looking forward to the episode. Lines up with many of my interests ... Japan, trains and maps. Here's an animation of the Osaka loop line, simulating the first 6 hours of the day:

I just checked it out, Ijon Tichy. That is some smooth animiation works there in badger's video. Really puts into perspective the amount of train services on the line over a given timeframe. Thanks for sharing.
