Have you tried meeting someone that shares your same interests? I used to work with a manager at Panera Bread who liked a co workers and I helped them get together. lol! They called my grandma years later to thank me. I think they are still married. I never answered there call back though. I'm not a relationship expert and barely did anything so the gesture was nice but maybe you need a friend that will help you find someone. I cry a lot to because I can't find people to connect with just fake people so I'm over it. No one should go around with 0 friend's or only one it's sad. Hopefully you have friend's to lean on.

While I don't believe in love anymore in my personal life (many reasons I don't want to get into) I will say at least it was a breath of fresh air seeing your guys' story. When my mother was alive I took her to Savannah. She was a real life Morticia Addams. She enjoyed it so much and talked about it so much until cancer robbed her from us. Savannah is like you guys. Very dark and unique. Late congratulations. Happy Halloween!

Hearing your story and seeing your pictures...I was giggling and laughing and crying a little. It felt like two of my closest friends were sharing their stories. Michael, just to see how you've evolved in front of the camera (I've been watching some of your early vlogs) is amazing and Jessica - you're just so cute!! The two of you were made for each other. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Savannah. I live in Central West Georgia, however, we take weekend trips to Savannah at least once a year. I'd love to live there I just love it so much. My story is different I jumped into a relationship way too fast now that I know what I know I'm doing better at least I think I am but I've known the same guy for 10 years I believe. And now that we aren't together and are just friend's I finally told him that I don't want to end up like my neighbors who are very unhealthy for each other so we are trying to get our shit together it's just hard when you ask for help and no one cares or has the time to help it's sad.
Etta James so cool. Got to see her in San Antonio about 5-6 years before she passed she lives forever in my heart.
Love Love Love Savannah. Just visited back at the beginning of May 2024 and stayed for a few days to soak it all in. I drove down to Parris Island SC to see my friends son graduate from Marine Corps Bootcamp, spent about 4 days in Beaufort SC and then came up and spent 3 or 4 days in Savannah. First time I had been back since the mid 80's when I was stationed in SC while in the Marine Corps.

Yall r 100% soul-mates! Makes my soul glad. Lost mine in 2014. We met in 87 and married in 89. Our wedding was a small affair, second hand dress, no wedding rings and no official honeymoon lol but we lasted. When u mention getting your ten dollar ring etc it just reinforces that money and all those trappings mean NOTHING. The importance is the love and devotion that Is shared between two people. We see this over and over with many couples who have bug lavish ceremonies with fancy diamonds and trips not lasting. Id rather have that small ceremony with all the love and devotion attached which cannot be bought. Hugs to you both! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. This lonely witchy widow thanks you.

Just found Grimm life collective a few weeks ago and I LOVE IT!! In this video I found out something awesome,Michael you and I share the same birthday July 12th. Happy late Birthday hope it was spooktacular! If I remember y’all were married on May 1st. My husband and I were married on May 15th, we have been married 40 yrs. I took some of my oldies (youngest one was 91) on a Savannah ghost hearse tour about 10 years ago. They absolutely loved it!! Called themselves the living dead & had a blast waving at all the shocked tourists. Good times!!
I'm looking after my 92 year old father. If you have a group of oldies who like to go out, then more power to you. It's great to get them interested in things and looking forward to activities. Good for you. 🙂
@@lorimiller4301Caregiving isn't an easy thing. Thank you for being there for your father.🤗 I was an activities director at an assisted living home here in Savannah. We did outings 3 times a week & always had at least 7 as that's how many our van would hold. Men's club loved going to Hooters but I think my ED didn't really know that's where I was taking them!
Now that sounds like fun!!!! Sounds like something the lady I sit with would like. She is 94 and has that kind of sense of humor....but I do too so I would be right there with here her lol 😆! I want to be an interesting old lady when I get to be her age.

Listening to your love story made me reminisce about mine... My husband and I met at a party in early 2007 in a historic 1908 building in Northern NY. We were both 23 and I had just moved to the area a couple months prior. My husband grew up in the area. After we ran into each other, our lives became intertwined from then on. We married 4 years later and are still going strong! 💪❤️

My wife & I talked on the phone for 4hrs+ the first night we met & our wedding was even less formal and took place in the courthouse in 2004. 18yrs later, we’re still together. Night terrors are horrible experiences. I've suffered from them too. What I've learnt over the years is that they are always associated with negative spiritual experiences. You regularly visit places (like the murder sites) that have a lot of negative energies attached to them. Keep safe and protect yourselves spiritually when you visit these places. All the best.

I was born in Savannah back when the old St Josephs Hospital was in 'town' as we called it. I have a lot of family that are buried there,have seen a lot of ghosts there, worked for the city directory on Washington Avenue (it is gorgeous),sold shoes to the Late Lady Chablis at the shoe store on Derenne Ave,and done some things I can't discuss in polite company there. My Daddy 1st came to Savannah in the 40's to join the Navy right after WW2 and was so country he drove his car right through one of the squares because he thought it was a road. Congratulations on yall's true love story .

I can't believe I missed this video - now going on a year old. I live in GA, love Savannah and it was great to hear how you two got together! Madison square would be a great place to get married - nice choice. I love checking out some of Jim WIlliams' old haunts every time I'm there and I'm so glad that he preserved so much of the Savannah homes for others to experience.
