Happy anniversary you 2!! We've been together for 44 yrs.!! This past year was our most trying year yet. I had a major back surgery where I had to learn how to walk again. My husband's love and care, and God's grace, saw us through. I'm almost off the walker and onto the cane. I've also lost 70 lbs. Y'all can make it to 50, 60, 100 yrs!!! We're pulling for you❤❤❤
i lived in Savannah for years and couldnt agree more....it is a singular city. And so chill and gorgeous. Property prices low, east of city headed towards Tybee. Roaming those Spanish moss lined streets at night with horse drawn carraiges, its pure magic. For local brew, check out Moon River Brewery across from the Hyatt next time. Ive been around a little bit....Savannah is definitely one of the most livable year round cities in America - and a mere 4 hrs from the Smokey Mountains. Cheers. St Paddys day there is craaaaazy

October will be 56 years of wedded bliss. Right now, we're spending a month near Ocean City, Md. in our camper. I grew up in low country SC and love Charleston and Savannah. An often missed opportunity is Beaufort, SC. It's much smaller than either city but has a lot of character (and good places to eat). A nice day trip. Lake Jasper RV Park in Hardeeville is very convenient to these areas and is a very nice campground (get a lake side site). Btw, 43 years together, 41 married, discovered RV life 5 years ago.

Happy Anniversary and a great city to celebrate it in. The summers are more hot in the interior of the state than on the coast. At least on the coast, you get those breezes. And we were talking about accents before. I like a good Southern accent as well. I’m five hours from Savannah.
Happy Anniversary! We’ve been married 51 years. Started camping in a tent, got our first trailer (13 ft) when our son was 6 months old, since then had a bigger trailer, a boat for a while, 2 5th wheels, now a Sprinter. Enjoyed it all.

We have been married 36 years! Our Daughter went to SCAD in Savannah. We loved exploring the beautiful city. Leopold's has the best ice cream but don't forget the pralines at the sweet shops along the river!
Lunch looked great. I listened to your like to have for settling down. One of the ones we required was low/no humidity. We settled in the Albuquerque/ Rio Rancho area of New Mexico. We do get a few days of snow each year but it melts so never need a snow shovel. Sunny even on cold days, mountains (lots of them) close by. And Affordable.
So blessed. It’s funny - we are sharing our lives with another person but (when you have children) to our children, we are one. The truth is, we are two people that choose each other every morning. We thought finding each other was the best thing. Having someone to grow old with has been wonderful. Maybe the best thing. I love Oregon. Willamette Valley weather is temperate. Rarely snows in winter - actually, rarely below freezing. It can be a bit gray in December and January, but Spring, Summer, and Autumn are awesome. Savanah looks charming.

The best place to live is closer than you think, it's Beaufort, SC, about 25 miles from Yemassee. It is a smaller town but has lots of charm and enough variety for day to day life. A bonus is that Hunting Island State Park is nearby.

The line for ice cream is large at Leoplolds! but if you have the time and it is hot and humid, that treat is the best thing you will eat in Savannah that night!

I’ve been to Charleston twice & Savannah once - two fabulous cities! If I was young, I’d love to live either city for a year or two. We are going to try out a winter spot in AZ this year. After 3 winters in the South, we are over the cold & tornado watches. But if I could live in a cool house in Savannah…? 😜😂

Charleston and Savannah are both historic and beautiful southern cities, but there are differences. I’ve never been to Charleston because we’ve always went towards Columbia when getting to 1-26. I saw one of the Newstates on this video. Yeah, they were just in Florida not that long ago as well. They’re good people and have a good channel, too.

Well, we cannot live in Florida all year! But, I love the people, the food in Savannah, GA! I try to think about the St. Patty Day Festival going down to Savannah, GA, and booking my rooms on the main drag (East Bay Street at the Hilton /Homestead Sweets) which we have done for years with our clan! Nothing better than feeling the sun, eating the food, drinking the drinks at the pubs! And a finish at the Pink House in the Park!
Congrats guys! We sooo love you guys and your Channel! Lorraine and myself( Jim) have been full time Rv for a year and a half and absolutely love it. September 1 st we will be 22 years together . We hope to see you guys out on the road sometime . We are going to Helen GA for the Balloon fest / race tommorow and will spend a few days there. Then to Tennessee for the month of June. Then we start heading west, we don’t plan on being back home base( middle Florida) until late October or early November.

Charleston would be great for warmer weather, water and within 3 or 4 hours of the mountains. I use to live in SC and Charleston was a great day trip to the beach. Love Isle of Palms.
Happy anniversary. We loved Savannah and Charleston. Can’t believe it was over 20 years ago. We have the extreme summer in Yuma but mostly dry. Can’t take the humidity. Also celebrating our 50th this year. January 1974. Congrats.

Been trying to figure out Chris' accent... I'm originally from the midwest and I lived in North Dakota for several years as a kid... still couldn't quite nail it. But I think it sounds to me like "Canadiapolis".
She does have a "thicker" accent than I do.! Although we both grew up around the twin cites area and Western WI.

Charleston and Savannah are both historic and beautiful southern cities, but there are differences. I’ve never been to Charleston because we’ve always went towards Columbia when getting to 1-26. I saw one of the Newstates on this video. Yeah, they were just in Florida not that long ago as well. They’re good people and have a good channel, too.
June will be our 38th dating anniversary. We started dating in 1986, just 20 yrs before you guys. Our wedding anniversary will be in August and it will be our 34th anniversary.

I love Savannah, it has the beauty and charm of Charleston, yet the quirkiness of New Orleans. I lived there for a few months when I was in physical therapy school, just off Troup Square. Happy Anniversary!

Welcome to Georgia. My one-day honeymoon way back in 1987 was in Savannah. Got married on a Saturday, drove from Atlanta on Sunday, and back to work on Monday. We even got time on Tybee Island. Happy Anniversary

Well, we cannot live in Florida all year! But, I love the people, the food in Savannah, GA! I try to think about the St. Patty Day Festival going down to Savannah, GA, and booking my rooms on the main drag (East Bay Street at the Hilton /Homestead Sweets) which we have done for years with our clan! Nothing better than feeling the sun, eating the food, drinking the drinks at the pubs! And a finish at the Pink House in the Park!
Congrats guys! We sooo love you guys and your Channel! Lorraine and myself( Jim) have been full time Rv for a year and a half and absolutely love it. September 1 st we will be 22 years together . We hope to see you guys out on the road sometime . We are going to Helen GA for the Balloon fest / race tommorow and will spend a few days there. Then to Tennessee for the month of June. Then we start heading west, we don’t plan on being back home base( middle Florida) until late October or early November.
