I am posting and doing stories daily using my branding colors and similar backgrounds in my photos so I'm recognizable. I have done a challenge event for the first 12 days of the year. I am pleased to see I'm getting new followers. I plan to follow up with the ones who engaged with me by offering an excerpt from my book. I really appreciate the ideas you share. Oh, I am also going to do an Instagram live. And I am scheduling ongoing posts on my calendar

I’m an old school book author (15 books before publishing completely disrupted) building a social media platform for first time. I plan to fine tune my branding and message so I can attract the right community members. Don’t know enough yet for a specific plan. Love to learn. Looking forward to a productive 2019
Great tips!! I totally didn’t know you could change the background color when sharing a post in your stories!! I just started my organizing RUclips channel this fall and have implemented so many of your tips on my Instagram. I’m still learning but really struggling to get people to comment on my posts.

Love the idea of doing an introduce yourself post every couple of months ... such a smart idea. I definitely spend time looking at a person’s posts and reading the descriptions before hitting the follow button. Thanks for all the great tips and tricks. Do you have a video about the IG description below the image? I usually try to make it as readable as possible, with spaces between paragraphs. I don't understand why IG always takes away those spaces. I hope I'm being clear about what I mean. Thank you for any additional advice. You're amazing! Very appreciative of the info you share with us.

Hey there SUE, Frandalicious here, I am a metalsmith (middle aged, reinventing the remainder of my existence) with a FT day job. in the world of technology, I am a total newbie. When I first made my IG account I was told to follow anyone who follows me, or even likes a post. Thinking this was proper IG etiquette I followed instructions. Ooooffff, I follow 3x’s more people than are following me, hence I am having to manually unfollow tons of people. Is there an easier way to do this? Binge watching all of your videos for the next week, I’ll be launching a new website this year and hopefully gain some REAL followers. Thanks so much,

There has not been one vid or post that I have not learned something from. This one included. I would love to better understand "a take over post" on a relevant page. I only follow those that I am truly interested in and or can learn from. I read every bio before I follow and review much of the page. But truth be told, generally I only follow those that I believe can do my up coming product launch some good.

There is so much scams in youtube comments these days,you can rarely see a comment from real person.Only bots promoting fake websites.I've tried all the sites for free followers and just Quickfollowz worked.

I always check out the bio when deciding if I follow them. I never care about number of followers or their follows to following ratio.
