Excellent. I simply followed the video and nothing happened. Tried again - nothing happened. Then I read your comment and it works. Ironic that the video is made by 'stopping frustration' and it was very frustrating!
Brilliant, thanks to you, I have solved my printing problems, every time I needed to replace a cartridge I just could not get my Epsom to print again.(8 months old) after watching your great video and following the instructions , she is back to her old self. thank you very much for your time and trouble. many regards to you and yours, Colin .UK.
Your video was very helpful can make another video on Epson 235a ink refill or installed CIS / continuous ink system, many viewers are waiting for that....
My printer is saying its low on toner and won't print - but when I press the red button the inks won't stay out and keep going back into their resting place. they won't show me which one needs changing or stay out to be changed??
the users manual says that, once you have inserted your new cartridges, you have to press the red button (far right) again to start the INK CHARGING process and to NOT turn the printer off until this is complete (about 2 mins - POWER LIGHT STOPS FLASHING)
hi, do you know whether the printer works out, but the paper turns out blank. I have tried to print head allignment but it turns out blank and sometimes only line.. hope you could help
When removing the cartridges remember to press the little clip at the top back of each cartridge as this isn,t mentioned and I nearly broke my cartridges trying to remove them.
!Remember - you need to hold the red button for at LEAST 6 SECONDS FOR THE INK TO ACTUALLY POP OUT AND STAY for you to change it - I always forget what to do!!
Hi Christopher, thanks for feedback, this tip had been pinned at top of comments and I unpinned it by mistake, so re-pinned it, and added instruction to the video description also.
Hi Yhodz, search for 'printer ink for Epson printer xp 235' in Google and the search results should return printer ink cartridge sellers in your country.
The big and only problem is that the cartridge replacement instructions rarely work and i sometimes spend an hour or more trying six seven or more or less finally in desperation i started jamming the heads to stop the cartridges in a position to change , of course this eventually damaged the printer and i had to replace it ...........but you guessed the replacement has the same problem a great machine if only epson would sort this problem out . Frustrated ...Dave Dyer
your instructions are not complete. They lack 2 majore points. 1- how do I check my the ink levels. 2- and how do I check if the performance was completed properly .You didn't tell me as well that I have to remove the covering ticket from the side of the cartridge thank you
WARNING!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. if you want to print in black while the other color cartridges extended you will not be able to print even if its on black only. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER
Lost count the times I've had to look at this video to remind me how to change the cartridge thanks. Rubbish instructions and buttons on Epson printers.
Probably the worst printer I have even owned. Honestly really really bad! Thank god they don’t make them any more. They realised how awful they were far to late.
you have to hold the stop button for 6 secs
Thanks Butters Stotch - I will watch out for this the next time I change the ink cartridge on my Epson xp-235 printer
Best comment! Thanks

One of the most clear-cut and to-the-point video tutorial I've seen...no bullshit, does what it says. Thanks for sharing!
except you have to hold the button for 6 seconds
It's the 6 secs that's the key. Couldn't get the cartridge to stop at correct spot, just kept going back 'home' spot. Finally worked!

See the information dialog box that opens up 14 seconds into the video - this graphic tells you which ink cartridge is empty or low on ink.
how to install ink to Epson wf 2631??
I am afraid I don not have that version of the Epson Printer
When I press the red inverted triangle nothing happens. The cartridge carriage does not move to identify which colour needs replacing
Thanks. It would be good to have that comment to press red button for 6 secs at the start of instructions.
