This is my kind of reality program. Parris Island in June of 1968 and Vietnam in early 1969. Semper Fi to all services and first responders.
I love seaman but seriously the navy is great my uncle served in the navy for 35 years and I would like to serve in the navy when I get out of highschool
I have to say that I do like your comment. But the first three words, very bad choice. But I do get you on this fact. I like the Navy as well. They helped the Marines out many times. So, they are our brothers just like all the other in the service. I just wish and pray that our government would know and learn about this.
Get a real good education, study hard, so you can get in an excellent field when you go in.
Cheers fellow sailor, I'm going ROTC route!
Amazing!
Morale conglratuatlions Jolly Rogers USNAcademy Silent Drill Team God Bless all of you..
Awesome ❤
i am a USN vet, Marine dress uniform is so much crispier looking,
Great work cadets
they are midshipmen
i agree
I would have thought the Naval academy could have fielded a larger team, at least 16 men which is the standard. They're good with some precision moves. There is some room for improvement in their routine being a former Navy silent team member in college myself. The best I've seen and competed against was Oregon State (the West Coast Annapolis,) but the 24 man Texas A&M Army team was the most spectular team I ever faced. Their boots and britches uniforms with campaign covers was a magnificent looking uniform that my father a Calvary officer (later Artillery when the horse Calvary was retired) would have loved.
It’s not like they’re not at the #1 public college in the country or anything. 🤔
Also, Oregon State and Texas A&M are each at least 5x larger than Navy.
Are you referring to the Fish Drill Team at A&M?
24 is the standard for a platoon.
I bet you can't even do what they can, college drill teams are amateurs compared to them. These are professional drill teams not college kids. Also the actual military trains a lot more then civilians in college .
@@noahkohn9350 You are right, they are military training for combat not a civilian job. Military discipline is always harder then normal college. The military can't go to there advisors and cry how bad their teachers are.
Prayer time ❤omen
My nephew Cj 💙 is attending the Navy Academy studying . I miss him.
Tell him good luck
So sharp so proud🔥 ❤🇺🇲.... oh I love a man in uniform
My x-wife said the same thing.
@@ronaldross6950 aww don't be so pessimistic there's good one's out there
@@theresashadwell9060 I believe you.
@@ronaldross6950 good good we need that in today's society
Just do not ever give an officer a map and compass unless you love becoming one with nature, and never finding your way back home, or any where close to it. Shout out to my boy's and girls at EI Company, Quantico. You know what I'm talking about. Yes I approved this message, Semper Fidelis 💯
They are all hundsome. Love it. He he
Black M14 is a new one
Would've made it better if they're on full kit IYKWIM
Not them copying the USMC Silent Drill Platoon
I saw several of the USMC silent drill at the Texans games and that looked the same , USMC dress uniform is so much crispier and better looking
USN vet
USA
Not bad for a bunch of officers.
I am wondering why I don't see more black men in the Navy. You have some great men.
There are lots of black men in the Navy.
They're all at sea.
We have a lot of students who are interested in the Navy, College students in Bowie and Maryland. Its very hard to get into the Academy. I was over there last year and I could see, all the students coming in.
Have nothing on the marine silent drill team
They earned credits in my book us marines are cynical but recognize effort when it's due thanks😊😊
My Navy brothers look mighty SHARP ohraa from a jarhead nice job 😊😊
As a former United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon Double Inspector , I’ll give props to their work with the M-14 , And the fact they are in full time Academy students . Not too shabby.. could’ve been a lot “tighter”. And they did copy a lot from us ..Good Show Navy …
There might be future Marines in there.
❤💙🤍💤🔟
“Copycats”😅😅
There’s only one Silent Drill Team in the world!!!!!!
USMCRet
at least they will be reminded of what hapins when you lose your freedom of speech, ironically
There’s only ONE silent drill team and it isn’t these guys! It’s the USMC. These guys just stole from their routine.
You guys are starting off the wrong foot. Cant keep the pace and align yourselves. Y'all had nothing else to take care of at that moment.
But i must admit, the rest was pretty tight.
Ok expert, these guys do this on the side, their full time job is going to school…if you served in the military I’m guessing Air Force. The Navy and Marine Corp start with the opposite foot as the Air Force does.
@@1BobsYourUncle i meant they were off to a rough start as in the beginning they had nothing else to do but the walk at the same pace and align.
Alright bro, why don’t you throw on some dress whites and a rifle and head on out there. Since you’re obviously an expert on this matter go show us how it’s done
Yeah I have to agree. Objectively speaking, one does not need to be an expert to notice that their pace is not in sync. There are other things that are apparent as well, like the rifle angle and position when carried; some are higher or lower than others.
I get it, it's hard when the direct comparison to be made is the USMC SDP. The little things add up and overall they aren't as crisp or precise.
But they did perform well considering how much practice they and reps they do get.
My Sea Cadet unit is far and away better than these mids^%$men. Call the Forrestal Squadron over at the JRB in Fort Worth and learn how to do this properly!
I’m confused, are you a sea cadet or are you a jrotc instructor
@@Hoodratshi559 obvious sea cadet... for the love of Pete sea cadet not even the gum on their shoe, much less the USMC drill team or matter of fact any USN\USMC veteran
