The shop I found recommended by a friend was awesome. Very clean and when you see Ferrari's and Lambos on the floor getting done I felt safe. They did a great job. But I had them do paint correction on my new C8 and then full PPF and then ceramic coating on the outside and interior and the rims and callipers. There is always a waiting list to get in. Thats another good sign.
Awesome job, and really interesting to get to know the detailing business a bit more, and how much work goes in to a car in order the get results like this!
Great video, lots of detailed information. You just need to leave a little spacer at the end of your videos to give people the chance to like them. But great job!
Great job, I was wondering if during the first stage of the paint correction process if you could share with us the grade or grit of compound and the type of foam pad you are using and also the type of polish and pad, and a little of you actually doing the work. I think what you do is amazing and hope you get tons of business from these videos.
in this case you get what you pay for didn't apply . it's easy to see how standards slip when good shops have a reputation and become greedy with how much work they take on , there's only so much time they will spend on each car . I hope the owner got some form of compensation after showing this to the shop.
This video gives a great view into good and bad detailing, and how mistakes can be fixed. However, we're going from broken to fixed, I'd be interested to know how to remove the high spots? What compound are you using, polisher, etc. I'm just getting started as a hobby detailer on my own vehicles and after ceramic coating my vehicle I definitely have high spots I'd like to correct. It'd be great to see more how to, rather than just before and after. That said, great work and the end result looks great.
@@cleardetailing5499 Looking forward to it. Also, this video highlights the importance of good lighting! I'll definitely be checking out Scangrip to add it to my tools.
Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener; this stuff removes anything, any coating, it is totally safe, wipe on rub off, gets off etching, hard water spots etc. seems scare it is not.
Man I am learning so much from you. But also now I am scared to take my car to any random detailing shop. Do you have any recommendations of detailers in Michigan? I am paying for individual paint (dakar yellow 2) on my i4 M50 and want to get it protected, but who can I trust? 🤷♂️🤷♂️
The worry I have with compounding, or 2 step is too much clear coat removal. I know this is a new car but still, are you saying for eg. you don't like 3d one hybrid? I find I can use different pads and cut then finish with one application, thanks.
Another video showcasing how insanely detail oriented you are (pun intended)

Thanks for the feedback Adam! I’ll absolutely take that into consideration next video!

Meguiar's D14001 Wheel Brightener magic for small mistakes
Great video! One question: are those stripes factory?

What foam canon you using?
MTM!
Looks like they used a heavy compound with a microfiber pad and didn’t really polish it afterwards
