    There are two different kinds of herculiner spray in the cans, look at the white label where your left thumb is in this video. There is another can that has a black label and is very textured

    This guy shakes a can for 3 minutes before doing anything at all. Fast forward to 3 minutes

    Sweet I'm glad I just don't go by the reviews I see I actually have to watch about 5 to 10 reviews before I buy something for myself that I think will be a good product

    I use the 2K shutz gun sprayed U-POL.. Comes in screw on container that you mix in hardener..Need mask, face covering , paint suit but Raptor is a hard , hard finish , like POR-15 .. Going to do it once and the best i can do..Just sayin..

    Good test, Raptor wins hands down. I've used flat Rustoleum in the past and have noticed that after spraying and drying some areas have a slight glossy appearance. No idea why a flat paint would have uneven finishes like that. Have you noticed this in your experience or have an idea what causes it? Thanks

    Raptor liner is undisputedly the best DIY kit out there everything else is gummy trash.Raptor liner has established itself as the new standard it even compares to linex which is something like 600-700$+.It does have strong durability uv protection and good texture just be sure to prep your bed like sand and prime for hardener its all in the instructions.

    Why do people like the textured look so much? I feel like a smoother finish might be better if you are getting into your truck and for instance resting on your knees, it will be more comfortable then. Which of the products ended up being more durable for you?

      Its like saying why is car paint smooth it just is its industry standard and makes sense.You can actually THIN OUT bed liner there are plenty of videos showing how to thin out raptor liner and the texture is smooth with a look of hardener of course.Dont want to do it extremly thin because thin means less durability and prone to flake.There is a reason bed liner is made durable and its for efficient usage.

    Both cans probably squirt out of the same nozzle in the Chinese factory to fill them.

      Never use something like this for rust prevention it unless you are 100% sure moisture won’t get it use fluid film

    • @ChrisRedding1
      @ChrisRedding1 Год назад

      No, moisture will get trapped under the lining.

      Use surface shield for under the vehicle! Fluid film washes off to easy, and you gotta re-apply Fluid film every year compared to every two years with the surface shield!!👍

    People need to quit calling bed liner paint because it’s not paint . It’s spray on plastic to protect the bed of your truck

      I don’t know about the spray cans but I just used 10 liter bottles from a shutz gun and it’s dry to a light touch in a couple hours, next day is pretty good but it say 7 days for regular use like in a pickup bed.

      7 days no water can touch it must allow 21 days to fully cure for normal use or offroad use.
