Dave is a dave man
why am I the only one replying??? or not...
He’s promoted from that background extra who “acts normal”
Oh hey, what are you doing here?
Hence the added HCl spray
Emotional Damage
Hello Asian uncle
😂 I remember that skit!
The fact that the acting of the other two characters are like, actually really good is just hilarious
Fr
We need the extended version of this, without the bad acting. The camera work was good and so was the acting. David Thrasher, part time director/actor???
Sometimes I forget it's just one guy, lol
It makes you REALLY see the contrast!
the irony of this is that daniel is an INSANELY good actor, to the point where even when his good 'actors' break character the acting is still on point
More like he's so good he has to act outrageously bad. His acting is on point!
He is a proffetional actor. He knows how to be bad at acting.
He's acting as if he's an actor breaking character, whilst responding two two other actors who are also himself. Very impressive 😂
I couldv’e watched 4 hours of this!!!
“If your case isn’t bulletproof, you’ll wish you were” is the coldest line ever, but it unfortunately got outshined by “It was loaded the whole time!” 😂
Petition for Daniel to make the serial killer plot a whole movie and act all the parts. I would totally watch it.
Like that episode of Grandpa and another dimension demon?
i would *absolutely* watch it and i hate serial killer movies. :]
Daniel could be in a movie and act every single character in it
Yes. Make a movie
That would be amazing. Daniel, make it, I want a killer movie!
Honestly, the idea of a world where everyone knows they're in a movie but still try to abide to a script is fascinating.
No I think it’s a normal movie set just without the crew and director
Hence the actor’s surprised the acid was real and the gun was truly loaded
"Truman Stockholm"
That’s an interesting idea, but I feel like it will evolve into another one of those “Don’t follow the herd” movies which are kind of repetitive. Especially with the Truman Show (I forgot the name but I think that’s it?) already being a thing even if the execution of the idea is slightly different.
The more I think about it the more I agree with you. Something something psychological “horror” but played off as if comedy? Exploring the feeling of fitting in and stuff.
Robin Hood: Men in Tights. At one point, they just pull out the script
@@Mayflower-Yev
Yeah, I wasn't thinking of those kind of movies (although The Truman Show is a _great_ example) but yes, I just like the... existentialism, I suppose, of the idea. Having to deal with someone going wildly off-script but there's no director or backstage crew to remedy the issue for you. It's just the actors fending for themselves, trying to salvage the 'scene'.
...oh wait, that's just Wreck-It Ralph, isn't it.
At first I was wondering what part of the acting was bad, until the sheriff arrived.
when daniel’s “bad” acting is a million times more charismatic than the worst acting ive ever seen
Probably because he acts badly with a ton of energy. Real bad actors seem like they would rather be somewhere else xD
ha ha so true
I starting actually getting vexed by the bad actor simply because he was interrupting a genuinely engaging scene lmao 😂
“Sheriff, I’m tryin’ ta watch the MOVIE here!! Be professional, would ya?!?”
Omg right? I want to watch a movie where this docter is the bad guy! He's a bad guy I would totally simp for and likely write fanfiction about him and the detective, if it weren't for the sheriff making me not want to watch the movie xD
It didn’t confuse me, but to each their own
Maybe I can help clarify something?
@@Nienna_Asyare I think they meant that the bad acting annoyed them more than it confused them
@@Nienna_AsyareVexed as in annoyed.
The detective really ruined this scene.
The immaculate acting by the sheriff, playing the dunce but being the true villain the whole time was… inspiring.
Sheriff is actually the serial killer, uses his hydrochloric acid along with his law enforcement knowledge to frame the doctor, orchestrates the lead detective confronting the doctor to take them both out. Truly diabolical
Officer Doofy
Spoiler alert.
really made me think he was a real american cop
Okay but the difference in physicalities of the detective and the doctor, and the irony that the exceptionally bad acting actually highlighted what a fantastic actor Daniel actually is… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 well done, sir.
Even the differences in how they speak
acting was hollywood level until 0:40
It still is, Scary Movie 1 or 2
Fr
it just got better from there
Daniel is exceptionally good at bad acting
Give him an oscar!
@@NathanLundmark He deserves a role in a movie!
@@MeadowLark-rf5bt Agreed!!!!
or he is bad at good acting, it just blend in together
And good acting!
Look, I love Daniel as a comedic actor, but this has me convinced that he can pull off more serious cinematic sketches. I mean, he's got the acting chops, he's got the camera skills, he's got the looks and charisma, just go for it!
Totally agree ! I think he acted in a horror movie once which makes sense
Only facts found in this comment.
This plus Stephen He's CEO from his job interview video! They have an established following for their comedic shorts and then BAM! Serious acting roles!
@@lunavaasmr1618 Ohh wich one?
@@GaliaHernandez- i actually don't think he mentioned the name But I remember him talking about it in one of this Q&A videos
When the actors are so good that it makes the bad actor look like a dumb character instead of an actor
im gonna take a moment to think about what you said lol
'If your case isn’t bulletproof, you’ll wish you were' and the 'bite marks' 'none that i'd like to share' and subtle movements is INCREDIBLE.
Can we just take a moment to respect just how good he is at being bad?
Ironically, the bad acting is actually good acting
The anti-Zuko
@@peteryang5056Zuko would be jealous
Are we just gonna gloss over the fact that Daniel actually made a good movie idea with THE COLDEST VILLAIN LINE OF ALL TIME
"If your case isn't bulletproof, you'll wish you were"
Nah bro the coldest villain line ever is "I was the highest bidder"
@@orangutang5683HYDROCLORIC ACID
“Hydrochloric acid!”
“It’s been loaded this whole time!”
Actually, I am pretty sure he wrote that line as an example of bad writing. Sorry. I thought it was CRINGE.
Daniel you really killed it here, I really hope you make an extended version with a serious sheriff too because I genuinely was invested in the A-Tier acting 😅
i love daniel's jackets, i don't know why, but every video i watch of his i always notice and think "man i want bro's hoodies"
Imagine a whole movie where this happens. It's just the one guy who sucks.
John Krasinski in The Office breaking his character so much that it became a feature of the show.
I would love it 😂
Jar jar binks
And in the end, he solves the case and becomes the hero of the movie. It's Jerry Lewis in "Silence of the Lambs."
You mean Steven Seagal in literally any movie he's in?
I want a full length movie starring just you playing all of the characters. I never realized I needed that until now.
it's what we all want.... deep down inside.... this christmas season. (or any other season lol)
I recommend Tom Grossi if you like one man acting dramas
For the first 45 seconds, I could not see what was wrong with it, but then the sherif came in 😂
Also loved the hydrochloric acid part
Daniel has become so insane that he's become sane again.
And then insane again
I constantly forget how good he is at acting. Like, that was professional level stuff
Yeah, I see it a lot. If he was interested in that sort of a career, the man would be working pretty steadily.
Ok but is nobody gonna bring up how incredible the lighting, colouring, camera quality etc. Was in this? Genuinely felt like a high budget movie
2:28 I love it.
"Freeze!" - security, 2023

The sheer pain in Daniel’s voice when he shrieked “FOR ACID?!!?” killed me lmao
He...never said that.

“ÆAAUGHAHA”

@@vertyisprobablydead Someone wasn't paying attention then
I can confirm that the sheriff is the most realistically portrayed character in the whole series.
Classic Daniel. I was dying laughing already with the ridiculous antics of those first 2 characters, then he brings in the Sheriff character to demonstrate that he actually is a top tier actor with incredible skill in preforming and in writing dialogue. The contrast just made the two comedy characters even funnier.
Okay but that knife scene at the beginning where it panned to him looking at it, coupled with the sound effects and music was literally amazing.
My favourite part was when he said “HyDroChlOrIc aCiD”, truly a life-changing moment. My life was never the same after that. Such inspirational words
I love water
rip @kosuken
he's fucking melted godamit
the fact daniel can do all this is absolutely incredible. absolutely hilarious
🌸 he was extremely talented. 🖐 and very missed 🌸
He is, indeed, both able and willing to do all of this!

First of all, this was great! Second, would love to see a much longer version of this, where everyone except the sheriff is a good actor. That line at 0:25 was amazing!
1:15 this part got me
The camera work is stunning and the script is exceptional, but the sheriff spraying acid is the most comedicly unexpected thing I have ever watched. Love your stuff Daniel.
Love how it often gets so dark.
i started wheezing SO HARD at that part too
I think its cool how in order to show bad acting, he would have had to show insanely good acting. He showed it even better.
The recording is extremely good, shots, illumination, camera, it makes even funnier the bad acting
Thanks Daniel. made my day.
I will never not love the genuine content and chaos Daniel provides for us ❤
I would honestly watch this movie, even with the sheriff, because the Daniel portrayed the other characters so well. Also, that opening camera shot was great.
Why do i get the feeling he's been watching Hannibal?
He's got a talented and he obviously well traded ned professional crew. I'm envious of how solid they all are.
Think of a serial killer movie on a film set where the killer is the incompetent actor who goes crazy last scene, literally in the climax of the movie.
This could be a good comedy horror
@@EGRJ I was thinking the same thing lol. Giving major Hannibal vibes
It's so well done that my brain got tricked and believed that Daniel sprayed Daniel. Then couple of minutes after the sketch ended I realized it can't be and was mind blown.
Wow, yeah, I only realise that now that I'm reading your comment
one of them could have been played by hoodie guy
Ahhhh, I absolutely adored the works of art came to life from the sheriff. I am truly shedding a tear because of his spotless acting. Doctor Jackson and the detective ruined the movie. The sheriff’s immaculate acting was truly worth Shakespeare. His dramatic walk inside of the house really sets the mood. His pointing was very pointy. Also, he makes hydrochloric acid seem like a toy compared to his might. The ability to remember all of his lines is extremely impressive. I can’t believe his skills. Some of the skills included hydrochloric acid, coughing, dramatic entrances, and being a judge. He has many talents which is extremely impressive. He doesn’t try to eat donuts, donuts try to eat him but they fail because they tremble when they witness his might. Such a powerful sheriff shouldn’t be around those loons. His famous quote, “Toothy or not toothy” is wonderful. He also has a very good ability to be the highest bidder on eBay. I think this is absolute grace and it is wonderful. This inspired me to leave my parent’s basement so that I could be like him. I am now a sheriff just like him! I have detained several villains with HYDROCHLORIC ACID.
Thank you so much for making me smile today. Im supposed to be on vacation but my parents are all fighting and things are just very sad rn
No but hear me out "Because if your case isn't bulletproot, you'll wish _you_ were." is actually a badass line
I can tell the filming equipment had a big upgrade. 1440p is really nice with a 27" monitor and the lighting was fire
I was just thinking about how good it looked.
Petition for a full, like, 45 minute movie of daniel acting all the parts.
Now I need you to make this scene but make it “When the acting is really, really…
GOOD”
The filming style between the good and bad actors is actually stunning! Some gorgeous shots to make the garbage even better!
Daniel does a great job believably being 3 separate people in this scene.
i heard the "welcome to the game" chair sound effect at like 1:20
No way!?!? Shwerpy actually commented
Wait a second? This isnt Brawlhalla
Daniel is such an expert at acting that he can even potray bad acting super well.
I feel like Daniel has gone through something like this at some point and is venting his resultant hatred of all bad actors with this video.
Finally we get to see the sane and professional side of Daniel. We need more of this!
No we don’t
Poor Daniel really had to hold back his immaculate acting skills 😢
I was thinking the acting at the start had a joke I was missing but then I remembered that this was Daniel thrasher and it was physically impossible to miss a joke
I thought the same thing!
The way I was so invested until the sheriff walked in is crazy LMAO
Edit: and by that I mean I'm sorta mad this isn't a real movie, but also the bad acting was also top tier lmao
omg we NEED a second part!
Wow, getting sucked into the tense scene of detective vs serial killer only for the sheriff to (hilariously) derail the suspense! Absolutely love this
1:04 I mean you can’t really blame him for making that mistake
For real. They're so similar they might as well be the same person
you know how good daniel is at acting by the fact that he can act horribly and great and make the characters different enough that they seem like actual different people
It’s so high quality, I love it 😆
Heeey I didn’t know Daniel did a collab with Alec Baldwin! 2:52
“I was the highest bidder” in such a proud voice SLAYED me
2:41
“Where did you get that?!!”
“eBay!”
Now we now what happened to Timmy Turner when he outgrew his fairy godparents
😂😂😂
I now genuinely think the world has multiple Daniel Thrashers
I would love more serious skits from Daniel. The camera shots are crazy.
“Where did you even get that?!” “eBay! :D” “EBAY?!!” I CHOKED
"I was the highest bidder" is what got me, like yes, that's how eBay works 🤣
Daniel made me extremely invested in this serial killer plot with a silly 3 minute sketch
The editing and filming is so satisfying!!🔥🔥🔥
I would kill to see this as a full length feature film
1:27 at this point i'm 90% sure Daniel is writing up an entire cinematic universe with these characters
I like how im spending my time on the internet searching for coffins and capes for my big brothers potential Christmas gift and watching sketches.
This feels like a meet the team video with the humor and the great lines
The actor playing the detective was so good he ended up taking over every other role in the movie.
I love how the javel hits with it's side, its perfect
2:02
Dude, you have gotten so much better at this over the years!!! Love your content and it has been such a joy to see your Journey!
the close up shots, the camera angles, the music, the lines, the... other... acting, everything was spot on!
Camera Daniel can't hurt you.
Camera Daniel: 1:34
This is clearly Daniel just giving us an excuse to hide him being a blob fish in a Daniel skin suit.
Ok I am really impressed. Just with the Good Acting even. The acting, the Shot selection, the music transitions, the framing. I mean, come ON! don't stop. This needs to be its own STREAMING NETWORK!
That's some fine trigger discipline you got there Daniel, very respectable!
“EBAY! I was the highest bidder.” I know that eBay feeling, it never gets old, winning an eBay auction.
Man, the sheriff did great. If the other two were a bit better this could be an actual movie!
the characters feel so alive I love this, this made my day hahaha
“None that I’m willing to share.” Is such a good response tho. His tone is just immaculate!
This one actually made me laugh out loud. A big feat for funny online haha skits
I unironically would love to watch a drama series of the first two characters that you could make
This actually will fit the movie if it’s supposed to be a funny bit this will work really well.
This ain’t bad this is a masterpiece.
Why was the actual acting storyline so compelling though
I'd love to see a full length version of this, it's hilarious!
That is no actor. That is a literal NPC.
I didn’t realize where the skit was going and I was like “what do you mean bad acting? This is really good”
How I miss those days.
FR I was honestly so confused
Now I want to see a well acted version
Your skits remind me of myself when I acted silly to make my sister laugh haha. Absolutely fantastic, please keep up the good work!
Love your content we need more people like Danaiel! We also need more content!!!!!
I can't believe the guy playing the sheriff had to put up with those two rookie actors. Good on him for keeping it together tough.
Man, to think that the piano guy probably deserves a Netflix show is sick
0:20 "Because if your case isn't bullet proof, you'll wish you were". Like... what... this has the be the greatest line in the history of cinema...
