@MaverickMagnus Nobody really knows for sure. Remake has set up that things are gonna change from the original game. What that means for Aerith in the end is up in the air which is why this was the perfect trailer to set up.
It feels this time, it will be more traumatizing that noone will be expecting it (including toxic purists). So we better stop overthinking and spreading toxicity, just accept this trilogy is a STANDALONE, and not the original NOR the sequel of it. That’s how it can be better to savor all the surprises even in real life.
