imo warrior is just fun. No matter what game I play im a berserker. POE, Diablo, Random class base game. Im choosing big dude big sword. Its just real life im big dude, small sword 😂
I've never played WoW ever. But have played several mmos and done their end game raiding. I wanna play druid for the ability to do anything tank heal or dps, but I want a raid spot...if I roll druid on fresh am I gunna be gimping my chances at raid spots? what about later down the line in TBC? I don't wanna run meta just for meta sake and not only that but heck this video example there is 24 warriors, sure I might have an easier time getting ON the raid but an impossible time rolling for gear.
If you are open to either Tank or Healing, I think you'll be in great demand. Blizzard announced today (within the past 6 hours) that they will be implementing Dual Spec at some point into the game. This will give you the ability to swap specs between Feral and Resto, making the Druid *more* valuable than before. Some would consider the "jack of all trades, master of none" a 'hybrid-tax'. With this one change, it makes a Druid FAR more valuable for a raid being able to change roles.
If you willing to tank dungeons, or maybe jump in if your raid needs a 3rd tank for some trash or boss fight. I can promise you, youll get picked all the time ^^ We strugle already in SoD to tell a warrior or pala to put on a shield for just 1 freaking fight. its insane. But druid is the "i can do everything, but nothing perfect" type of class - doesnt mean he is bad. just not "the best" (thats also arguable) since druid tank scales INSANE with gear later on.
resto druid in tbc is great. much better than vanilla. im gonna play rdruid in vanilla but probably wont raid. just slowly level, chill and enjoy the journey. im more focused on tbc when it comes out assuming im still playing in a year.

The buff limit change is fantastic for Resto Druid. Regardless of the guild you're in, you'll be able to use your entire toolkit. At level 60 - I would personally go Nature's Grace/Moonglow/Imp Rejuv as this is versatile for both Tank and Raid healing. If you're a pure raid healer using Rejuv for +80% of your healing, running a full Swiftmend spec is likely what i'd recommend.
I prefer Imp Rejuv + Healing Touch (with moonglow in the balance tree - no swiftmend). For early gearing in MC, Swiftmend is fine to go with - i just wouldnt put points into Imp Regrowth. Regrowth is very mana intensive, and I would really only pair this with getting the 5pc T2 which reduces the Regrowth cast time by 0.2sec.
Yes, Resto is good in TBC - better than Vanilla. If you look at top healer parses in Sunwell, 2 of the top 12 are Resto Druids. The rest are priest. Now, some guilds elect not to bring a deep-specced resto, especially if they do not have a Boomkin (they have Resto's go Dreamstate which isn't as good). Circle of Healing Priest is best for overall healing output, and Resto Shaman is the most "desired" healer (and chain heal is fantastic with the T6 4-set). But Resto Druid is still strong as a healer.
With the debuff/buff cap removed in the anniversary edition, canI use my buffs and heals on people freely? I only got to lvl 50 on classic launch in 2018. Never tried classic since but I main resto in retail and want to try resto/druid in general in classic
@@zday40k yes, some people love running this spec which gives you quick regrowth casts! @DestroxDaybreak yeah but it's not really how I play the spec myself, you only start popping r3 maybe r4 regrowth during aoe damage phases and then cruise heal with r3 HT w/ idol of health to keep your mana where it is while getting heals on the board. Raid damage doesn't get healed up as fast as you'd think and weaving r3 HT at correct times extends your mana pool as long as you need til innervate/pot/rune.
