It wasn't bad except when our entire raid got breathed on Vael - that really screwed over the fight for us. Overall though it was totally fine. We 3x healed it without a Pally and other than Vael its gg. As long as you have 1 trusted healer who can take responsibility to pump these targets, I think you'd be okay.

Actually - i take back the 3 heal. We moved one more druid from Boomie to Heal just in case after Vael as I didn't want any more hiccups. I don't think this was necessary though.

How long are your longer fights? There are definitely going to be instances where mana becomes a bit trickier. Do you have a SPriest in your group? How about pally/shamans for mana return in the raid? If you are casting Wild Growth on CD you will run out of mana. For example, HL3 Molten Core is way more mana intensive than running Mythic BWL for me. Due to fights like Sulfuron or Majordomo, melee is taking constant damage so I am hitting WG on CD while also tossing out Nourish (which can be mana intensive). Lifebloom is our best single target mana efficiency heal, but tends to overheal as other classes will heal snipe targets to full before LB blooms. I still enjoy rolling LB, as it is not mana intensive, but it can lead to some overhealing. I would try to get 4 pc Core Forged and 2 pc Draconic for mana efficiency - especially if you are in a position where you throw out Nourishes.

I would also lean towards using R1 Rejuv + Swiftmend to proc Efflo. Saves mana along with your 2s cast time for Regrowth.

Depends what role you're fulfilling. If you're MT healing you LB + Nourish + roll a Rejuv. Always have efflo down on a melee group (ideally melee in your tank group) for passive constant heals. Mana really shouldn't be an issue unless your DPS is asleep at the wheel. If you don't have a shadow priest in your group you may need to pop a dark/demonic rune, but with mana pots + innervate you should be good. If you are beginning to run low on mana during encounters you can swap your idol for the +25 mana regen on Nourish (but this would be more of a last result). To help with mana issues, running 4pc Core Forged which gives mana back on Nourish and 2pc Draconic which activates Dreamstate.

I think the other one does start hitting harder, but with wbuffs + current gearing its easily healable. Makes this encounter fool proof!

I differ on this, greatly. I played Holy Pally in Classic 2019, and I also have a Priest in Era. I enjoy and have the most fun playing Druid in the vanilla iteration. Is it the best class for healing output? Nope. I don't say as such either, and call out that if you are playing Vanilla that Priest has a better toolkit. Is Druid for everyone? I don't think so. But if you understand what you're getting into, you can still really enjoy it. When it comes to SoD I think the toolkit is great. A variety of hots, the best "mobility healer", and the class is far more engaging than Holy Pally single target healing and Disc Priest just shielding everything. I think the tuning needs changing for these other classes, but the variety of healing spells in SoD between both single target and party heals is excellent.

For Boss HP on Flamegor/Ebonroc you are seeing the Foji BWL Pack weakaura. If you donate to Foji's patreon you get a password to unlock their excellent WA's for raids (sometimes the passwords are floating around on discords too). For marking I am not of help...I keybind F2->F9 with raid markers and manually mark each pack.

The more important Addons/WA's are: -Foji BWL Pack WA (and corresponding addon) -Nova Raid Companion (raid CD's) -Enhanced Raid Frames (tracking HoTs on raid frames) -HealBarsClassic (predictive heals) -DBM

Honestly unsure if it helps on Vael - but we would often start him backwards in Classic in hopes for the tank to get the swing off first on a backwards target (increasing hit chance for initial threat).

WCL characterizes 3 affixes - with one of them being black - as Mythic. Any additional affixes do nothing to change the wcl classification.

We did actually - Black, Green, and Bronze for this run!

Tbh, I would be open to any of the TBC Era, TBC+, SoD TBC, or another seasonal variation of TBC. I really enjoy the "feel" of most Outland zones and raids (Hyjal and Blades Edge Mountains I would be okay to miss, though!)

I'm glad you enjoy it. Yeah, it's a combination of abilities all the way up to Cata downported to Classic. And the Molten Core encounters are the Season of Mastery designs with toggled varying difficulties. I've played Resto Druid on Era servers for a year and a half, and am having an absolute blast this phase in SoD. The class feels AMAZING to play - so much so that I'll start raiding MC on my second resto druid next week!

@@akajulian.nguyen You can go to the description to find the WCL of the raid - we rolled with 4 healers (and a SPriest). Three of the heals, including me, had greater than 60% overheal. Goes to show we can go down to 3 heals fairly easily!

Thank you so much for pointing that out! You're absolutely right-I've overlooked how the GCD actually impacts this spec. If Imp Healing Touch talents were not taken, then you could use Nature's Grace to get Nourish down to a 1.5 second cast, but this really would be redundant when you simply can just spec into Imp Healing Touch. Appreciate you pointing this out!

In the vast majority of cases I would want to run a traditional Swiftmend build - Efflo is fantastic for raid heals, and Swiftmend for a nice instant cast heal is excellent (not to mention Nature's Swiftness + Max Rank Healing Touch). This test was to see the synergies around Imp Regrowth and taking advantage of all the benefits that come with the +crit with Nourish, specifically for Single Target or Tank Healing. I end the video suggesting using this spec as a 2nd Resto spec in your dual specialization may be of interest. If your raid group has multiple resto druids or priests, there could be an instance in which a resto druid is focusing tank heals; I'm targeting this use case here! A little bit of math with plenty of hypotheticals baked in. Let’s say we have a 30 second boss fight where you were only tossing out Nourish, because you only care about Tank healing. With 50% crit, you will average tossing out 24 Nourishes over this time, compared to 20 Nourishes: a difference of 4 Nourish casts. Half of those are crits, where I was averaging +2500 HP, and half were non-crit at +1750 HP. Given two crit, you have two extra living seed heals on the target, at +1250 HP each. So in a world - where you’re only tossing out nourish - this is an extra +11,000 HP total from the combination of 4 Nourishes and 2 Living Seeds. Now is this entirely mana efficient? Not really. It would only be applicable for short boss fights where you are looking to bomb out ST heals. But as we scale with more mana through improved itemization the cost of Nourish will remain the same while our mana pools get larger. And later in a given phase, boss encounter lengths shorten as DPS increases. I will definitely be trying this out in P4 just to see capabilities around it - whether its practical at the end of the day will come down to whether you are assigned for tank healing, how many healers are in a raid and if heals are just sniping each other, and if a given boss encounter length is short enough.
