- dedicated video ram increase in Windows 10 is possible, this means dedicated video ram (or VRAM) can be possibly increased more than 128mb up to 2048 mb and this method could work both in laptop and pc so don't care about the device.

Just a few things that some people should know:
1. This only works on integrated graphics, meaning if you have a graphics card, you can not increase the vram of said graphics card.
2. While it could help, regular ram is MUCH slower than vram, which means your fps is probably not gonna be as stable and your performance may even be worse. (Especially talking to the gamers here)
3. If you really want to upgrade your vram amount, buy an actual graphics card if you can. It will make your life as a gamer a lot smoother.
And finally props to this guy for showing something legit, not just a scam. (Throwback to all those "Increase RAM with FREE SOFTWARE for FREE" lol)

If you hav 1gb ram then the value= 128mb and evry 1gb ram is 128mb vram, if you have:
1gb ram = 128mb vram
2gb ram = 256mb vram
3gb ram = 384mb vram
4gb ram = 512mb vram (value in rigedit)
And so on...

If you would say your PC runs fine (starting up isn't extremely slow, the computer isn't struggling to open task manager and things like that) not including internet, I would say you should do so. if the value is higher than 2048 already don't decrease it obv lol

Man, it was working perfectly for me for months. But recently, it suddenly stopped. The value in the segment is still there, but the dedicated video ram is not changing. It propably happened after an update of my windows. Please reply a solution...
I want to do this because of PES 2021, I don't know what is wrong with that game, no matter what settings I change it just won't stop stuttering. I have an i7 with 512 dedicated nvedia graphics card.

Thanks Man. It helped me a lot. My Vram for Intel graphics UHD 620 was 120mb, then I set the binary key to 3072 MB And when I restarted my laptop, it showed me 4096 Mb VRAM. Thanks Bro

Also if you have a big memory size of your graphic card like 4gb or 8gb
You can put like 3gb of dedicated memory on 8gb ram pc

Oh, and one thing, Shut Down hibernates the computer, but Restart rather actually turns it off, and on again. You can change that in Settings though.

Are you sure that you wrote the folder name GMM, the DedicatedSegmentSize, and check you are on 64 bit or 32 and chose whatever bit is your system

Not working in mine laptop.. It has Intel UHD 605 Integrated graphics
Most integrated graphics solutions automatically adjust to use the amount of system RAM they need, the details reported in the Adapter Properties window don’t really matter. In fact, for integrated graphics, the Dedicated Video Memory value is completely fictitious. The system reports that dummy value simply so games see something when they check how much VRAM you have.
Thus, you can modify a Registry value to change the amount VRAM your system reports to games. This doesn’t actually increase your VRAM; it just modifies that dummy value. If a game refuses to start because you “don’t have enough VRAM,” upping this value might fix that.
How do I do this?

That is just "fictitious" vram, you just making system and games think he has that dedicated vram, but actually not really having it...
Good for games that doesn't start if your system is below minimum...
These games incorrectly look for some amount of "dedicated" graphics memory because they weren't coded with the unified memory architecture for processor graphics.
The amount reported can be modified or disabled if desired by changing the following registry value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Intel\GMM, create a REG_DWORD value named "DedicatedSegmentSize". The value is interpreted as number of MB to report (0-512MB), 512 being the max...

It might be cuz you didn't save the file in registry editor, just a thought, haven't tried it yet. (it also didn't work for me)
@@turtletavern_4859 there is no way to save it..you just close the editor...my guess is restarting the pc wont do the trick..you might have to reboot it to see the change
