Man last year landlord and i caught about 8-12 rats. Just kept putting mouse traps more and more. The best tip i could give out is find a opening where they be coming in. Once done that youll be set. Now if they mofos come thru the vents or any other place just put these out like a snack, little by little theyll die. I recommend using essential oils, peppermint especially, rats dont fuck with that. Literally as right now of me typing this, i just got a stick and opened the door and made that rat kick itself out. All i hear is them rats in the walls of the apartment. This landlord wants to save money but remember you could always call a health inspector and the landlord will have to fix within 30 days if not he will get finned.

That's exactly what will happen. Unfortunately. They all died. No movement at all after about a week. Then the smell was bad for about a good 2 weeks at least. I looked it up said it takes about 3 weeks to maybe months for it to fully decay so it does not smell. You will not be able to find everyone inside the walls or attic or wherever they had their nest at. Also When we put the packs out we used the bait stations to be safe. I didnt think they was goin inside the bait station so I dropped some packs in areas I figured movement would be. Came back the next day to check... They packs.. Completely gone. Then later during the week they would eat the packs and then leave it there so I could actually see the pack being ripped open by them. Leading me to think how they do and took the pack back to its nest and wiped out the whole colony.. All of them gone its amazing. Dont worry about the smell it will go away. Rats are full of diseases better to have it smell for a month or so than to have them running around. Hope this helps 👍 try it Idk how bad it is for you.

I lived in Ohio and we had grain farmers and millions of rats and mice. Ya never saw them but some were as big as cats. been there for years due to a constant source of food. a silo usually has at least one million rats and this is all over the midwest.
I got rid of a rat by peanut butter mixed with baking soda

You were absolutely right. It works! In two days no more pest.
Now make sure to find out where they come in at and seal the holes
Where do they go m? Do they leave your house and die or are you having to find the dead ones and discard them?
@@nikitabradford8695They will stay in the house. Most likely Inside your walls!
Maybe use this bait on a glue trap or snap trap so you wont have to worry about trying to find the body
You think if they die from digesting this, the pets can get sick from being around the mice? (We have a cat that loves to mess with mice)
Thanks for the advice. Do you notice smells from dead mice in areas you cant get to?
@Miranda Turner hey I’m literally having the same problem and don’t know what to do
@Miranda Turner omg ain’t that the truth hahaha I just put on my ozone generator and bought 2 of these unltrasonic plug in that suppose to keep the mice out of your house bc of the noise and is pet/kid friendly so 🤷♂️will see I guess haha
Won't there be dead mice everywhere and smell?
Yes, you are so right. I saw a mouse go in a space underneath my front door threshhold. It really creeped me out. The neighbors moved and they had a nasty house. When the landlord cleaned the house and started moving all the junk there were hundreds of mice that started coming to my house. they were so bold. Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate it.
Did u use and see that it worked ??
For some reason the whole complex has an infestation of mice we’ve never had this problem we’ve been living here for 7-9 years and for some reason we have mice now idk what’s going on but it’s sooo sicking 🤦🏾♀️ I hate coming home and it stinking and not being able to invite people over it’s just ughhhh I hope this solves the problem 😩 before I have another breakdown

I can’t see the name of the small pack of poison. Keep shaking can’t see it clear what is it.
What is the bame of that packet and where can you buy it.
Where do the mice go to die? Do dead mice stink up your house?
The biggest way to get rid of mice is to find out where they are coming from. And the pach the holes up. But for the time being bait is an excellent way to kill them off. I had a few mice 2 yrs ago and then all of a sudden they came back with holes I didn't see before so I put steel wool in the holes and bait behind my stove I haven't seen any since then . But I keep my eyes open my exterminator is coming tomorrow so he'll help me out more to hopefully I won't t see them ever again I hope
What if they come from the heaters? We just found that out.
Bro idk what's going on this stuff usually works wonders with mice.. now something is in my house eating this stuff up like it's a treat.. I've had to fill the tray up 2× in a week... how is it eating so much of the poison and not dying? I'm baffled at this point
These mice living in my closet we killed 4 and there are still way more. They just came one-day we didn't notice and now they are and a d alot. They are too smart. They won't eat nothing we put out. The sticky traps are all over and these little things are smart. I am a clean person, we keep everything washed not sure why they won't go away. They made a spot in our closet with our food but I can't find where their nest is. I keep finding poop everywhere. 😭
old fashioned hinge traps with peanut as bait worked for my mice problem, they breed like shit so it took weeks
Find the holes and close them up.
Yes pest control said it.
Plug up holes and keep clean. First steps.
I live in an apartment with my parents and we literally killed 2 already but they just keep popping up
You have a hole somewhere cheap closets under sinks corners around doors house under porches
seal up the holes anything bigger than your pinky with steel wool from the paint dept
Does it dry them up or leave odor when they die?
My man is crazy lol all he does is see them trap them in a room and kill them with something and pick it up , take it out😳😂😂😂 my scary self just screams and says baeeeeeee
I closed all the holes I could find in my house and they stopped coming in but recently only some baby ones keep coming in and I’m going crazy I can’t seem to find no small hole at all and it’s like baby rats recently born so I just keep putting glue traps 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Use some poison until you find all the cracks they coming in
I'm gonna give this a try . They chewed through my pipes and cost me 1000 for a plumbing job. I'm gonna have to spread all of this under the house.
Did you try it?
@@ooxoo3980 nah man. My crawlspace was too narrow for me to get through. I called a professional exterminator. They sealed up all my entry points for me and laid traps .
Then I was able to crawl under the house and dog my way through to fox my leak. To be honest a professional exterminator is the way to go. They know rats and they gave me some very good tips , plus sealing up all of the entry points for making me new crawl space gratings and vents.
Danny Sevilla. I have one that is in my walls. He keeps eating large holes on my dry wall. Luckily it’s only on one side of the house but can only imagine what other damage it is causing.
@@ooxoo3980 oh man. Allá I can say is that you gotta act fast. The snap traps work bet because the poison makes em thirsty so they do whatever they gotta do to get water. Meaning chewing up your home. The exterminator dude told me. Snap traps at least snag em there and you know where they are. If they die in your wall Then you're in for a wild smell .
The longer you wait the more damage they can potentially cause. I was lucky enough to have experienced friends help me fix that leak under the house . But I would say invest in a professional service for the rodents
Danny Sevilla. I bought and set up snap traps yesterday. Also a electronic trap that run on 4 D batteries. The damn rat was in the bottom of my oven doing parkour or something. Very frustrating
I have a question about this process. I put the bars into the bottom of my cabinet where there is mouse activity. They are tearing it up and leaving crumbs. Am I supposed to clean the crumbs up and just leave the bars, or leave it alone?
I will leave it
@@THEWAVE-l8w Thanks, I've been cleaning them up and not having much success. It's been about 2 weeks that I've been at this and still seeing mice. I guess I was defeating my own self. Thanks again.
Keep giving it to them, but you got to find where they coming in at and seal it up good luck
Do they die once the eat it? I’m not tryna find dead mice bodies
Yea they die and if you do find one at least it's dead lol real talk
I use the pellet packs form tractor supply and they eat it , so it kills the mouse that eat it, does one mouse eat the whole thing r do multiple mice eat them?
I keep a clean home, definitely not spotless but very tidy. I clean beneath the stove routinely and that is where they always end up! I have to try this.
Does this posion cause them to smell if you can't find the body?
So are you supposed to open the pack or just lay it down as it is? I bought a whole bucket of these pellet packets and have just been throwing them anywhere I can think of.
Yeah you can open it for easy access so they can eat it
I just saw 1 and I'm afraid. If I purchase the bar do I just leave the pieces out scattered on the floor?
What about if they eat pellet and die in a hard spot to get too? Will it smell like dead mice?
Thanks for the advice just wondering when they die how often you are finding dead mice? open and just lay bags down?
To be honest I haven't found any dead mice I think they go back out and died there
Thank you I will look on Amazon since I don't get to hardware stores that often, I don't think the problem is bad 1 is in the house and he can't find his way out. mostly need to keep them out, had some waterproofing done last summer and lots of trees on my property it's a big front and back yard, have you ever used either one of them in your yard?. Thumbs up on this video.
No but my father has the big block one has a hole in the middle to where you can put a hanger through it and tie it to something so they won't drag it off so if you're looking for outside I will go for the blocks
I “think” the poison dehydrates them and they go outside in search of water
@@hagemanbuilders4880 i think you probably are right i used poison under the frig and when the mouse was dying it crawled out limping and dying
Like it wanted water or something . I jumped up on the kitchen sink terrified. I had to stay there til it completely died in the middle of the kitchen floor---I stayed up in the kitchen sink for about 2.5 hours and watched it die a hortific death on the kitchen floor. Blood came out its eyes, ears, nose, butt hole, and it was vomiting foamy blood too and also convulsing.
It was the most horrific death I have ever seen in my life.
Later on, after we used poison and traps. They were gone after about 2 months. We never smelled any in the house or wallls. So maybe they did go away to die. I dont know.
I got baby mices and and the grown ones too so I was trying to figure out can I take some mothballs and mix it with some ammonia and get rid of them permanently too
Don't know in this video this is what I did
amazing video and thumbs up....Just a question...if the mice eat the poison, odds are they will die in your home behind a wall etc...eventually many mice will die in your home...smell? how does that work?
Mice dying in your house is very possible from my personal experience I haven't seen any or had any problems with smells of dead rodents mice and rats is one creature that we don't like in our house and this product get rid of them
Theo T this all sounds good but these answers be iffy my guy
Will the rats die on the spot or hide then it will stink up the house?
I love that product. Was using the bars for years. But they're not allowed in California anymore. Anyone out there have any other great products to reccomend? And move out of California isn't one of them. Thanks in advance
Dude no offense to California but what is wrong with your state and all the laws that are bat shit crazy!!
@@cindyclark6899 it's the active ingredient that's been banned. The toxins in "one feeding" rodentcides lead to secondary poisoning of wildlife predators like mountain lions, bobcats, hawks etc. That eat the poisoned rodents then die of poisoning themselves because the toxins have a 100 day half-life.
Oh dang I didn’t know it wasn’t allowed in CA. So what do we use then?! I have crazy mice problems 💀😱

It seems like the inside of your house is sealed up good, go outside and check and see open holes that need to be sealed up
Question do we have to open the packets or just leave em like that ?
Probably don’t matter
We don't need to put down a bottle cap of water. Just wondering because some poisons they after they drink water that's when they die as soon as the water hits the poison inside them then that's when they die that's when it starts taking effect so I was just wondering if you need to put down like a cap full of water or a lid of some sort full of water just put it around where they're at?
I’m about to lose my mind. I’ve had Orkin come out they’ve set out traps 🙄 I’ve put peanut butter..Nutella everything they won’t touch it. I even got a cat and that isn’t helping. I guess I could try this
Same I have 2 cats ,I've tried Traps and nothing works
Rats love flour and sugar. My mom makes rat bread and leave it out... mix it with rat poison. Anything with flour they like. Pasta, ramen, some cup noodles. Good luck!

shania sahadeo thank you I will try this
When you put peanut butter out make sure you use latex gloves 🧤 rats can detect them if a human touched the plate and usually won’t eat it. Mice on the other hand will still give it a go.

Cats also leave bacteria all over your house with their shit feet.
The thing black housing u need for the blocks is expensive , i don’t have rats but i see them outside , I hate them and im scared to death
I live in the country, every time they cut the corn fields down the mice come in my home and start breeding
😥
The only problem with using that as it makes them look for water because it dehydrates them and then they will chew your water pipes
Maybe set up a temporary bird feeder on the ground so they have a water source to avoid them chewing on home pipes.
Sorry, bird bath or container of water of some kind.

When they eat the poison do they die in your house ? Possibly leaving a foul smell
Yes and it attracts lots of black flies.
how do I put it down for outside my house ? Do I need a bait station to put it down?
Yes
Great tips! I recently discovered mice droppings in the inside panel of my hot tub. Would you suggest that I put down multiple packets inside? Also do you have to cut the bag first or will they eat away at it?
I suggest putting it in a safe place where only the mice can eat it and yes I opened the pack
Also, use rubber or some type of glove when you handle any bait. They can smell your scent and may not go near it. Especially if there are other food sources available. Good. Luck.
