I’ve seen on tiktok people making ‘snackle boxes’ basically one of those boxes people use to organize crafts, fishing supplies, etc so you can bring a variety of things and save space. Would be great for your next trip. Also limits trash on the plane to take care of

Super impressed with the level of prep! I just want mention that as a person with a severe peanut allergy, I get really stressed when I am near someone eating peanut/PB&J in a plane. It’s a closed environment and it doesn’t take much for someone like me to go into anaphylactic shock. I know it used to be very common in the US to serve peanuts on flights so I know it is not coming from a bad place at all. I always pack my own snacks and some for my neighbours too so I can offer something if I have to ask them to not eat what they brought. But children aren’t as careful with where they touch so I’d keep that in mind for the next flight. Love your content and I’m glad you had a nice trip !

I just got back from Canada and I saw a family put all the diaper changing essentials in a toiletries bag with a handle for easy carrying to the bathroom while also carrying the child, I thought it was genius. Just a suggestion, I also hope to visit Alaska one day! Love the vlogs!
I tried plopping in a tshirt for the first time and it really does work! The frizz is at least half of what it is when using a towel. Have a great trip to Alaska. We went in 2017 and it was magical.
The Magnet board is such a great Toy! Keep it for some years. My dad is a Diving instructor and uses them for under water communication in the pool I loved to play with it in the pool when I was older!

There’s a Little People princess castle you can get to go with the LP figurines you just got Grace. We got that for my daughter when she was around Grace’s age and she played with that until she was about 8-9. Big Bang for our buck!!

Went to Alaska 2012, can't believe it's been 10 years. We did a 1 week cruise from Vancouver to Whittier and then rented a car for another 2 weeks, going to Denali. I arrived with 1/2 a suitcase and flew back with a full one. Still have the boots and winter jacket I bought back then.
I lived in Alaska for 18 years. Southeastern (Craig, Wrangell, Juneau), and the interior (Fairbanks, North Pole, Salcha). My family still lives up there! Southeastern is my favorite!
I just seen a RUclips video about using things the wrong way and the travel pillow was one of the things. I don't know if it's better, but try it. You put the pillow in front and the strap in the back.

@Emma Salinas I guess it just never occurred to me that you would still need a passport if you weren’t leaving the airport in Canada. But that makes sense!
In the US it’s now required to have a “real ID” to fly which is this new kind of driver’s license with more information. Since I don’t have a “real ID” yet, I have to use my passport for flying 😊
@@SierraStephenIRL this is actually not in force until May 2023! You should have been fine with a normal ID. I just flew to Boston from Chicago and was able to use my normal ID no issue!
